Legacy Cove - Week Twenty - 2 Bamboo Blvd

     Welcome back to Legacy Cove!  We're popping in to check out the second home on Bamboo Blvd, the home of the second oldest Panda daughter Yamaris and her family.  Her husband is the swoon-worthy Fletcher Lind and they have two adorable children, Vincent and Vamaris.  Let's recap on our star players.

     Something is missing here... Oops, we found it!  I was actually getting worried, it seemed to take way too long for Princess Peach to resurface!  

     They are a good family, just with a penchant for the color blue.  It's okay, it brings out their eyes.  Vamaris is the only one without blue eyes, she has gotten great-grandma Amaris's green eyes!  

     Fletcher was a moody teen back in Legacyville before moving with the rest of his generation to the Cove.  I wasn't sure about him as a family sim but once he became a dad it definitely seems like its working out for him. 

     

     

     Of course, if you were at all unsure, we're going to start out the week with a birthday!  Vincent steps up to the plate first!

     As both Fletcher and Yamaris have in-game families (Fletcher and Frazier are twin brothers) and Yamaris comes from the Panda line there's a good sized gathering to cheer Vincent on to teenhood!

     Ya'll know I get so nervous before the spin.  I always have to take a little breather and get those last pics in!  But there's no going back, only forward!  Here we go!

     And... Ta-da!  Vincent Lind joins the ranks of teenagers in Legacy Cove!  I'm in love with those eyes, they are definitely from his granddad Rob Panda (RIP).  Vincent is a Family man like his old man but he wants to raise 20 puppies or kittens.  I'm not sold yet, buddy.  You have one dog and she already ran away once because no one fed her.  (In. My. Defense!  ... the bowl was hiding in deep snow and I didn't see it was empty!)

      Meanwhile... when everyone is eating cake and no one is looking... a thief walks among us.  A thief named Polly Gee!!  

     I'm sure a few of you have noticed her absence and have wondered what she's been up to.  I'm sorry to have to share this sordid news with you.  

     Not that the role models in our household here are much better.  Don't mind, Yamaris.  Just on her way to work as a Criminal Mastermind!

     I really need to work on getting a police force together in this town.  Everyone wants to work for the bad guys, no one for the good.  Crime is really getting out of hand.  I think Lark's behavior falls under vandalism!

     And what do we do, invite her in for dinner.  Shaking my head!  The things we accept will become the things we regret, Sims!  

     Dinner most nights comes courtesy of the munchie bot.  They aren't exactly eating healthy but they are never hungry, for sure!

      Now if only all of the robots could function properly.... Maybe it's a good thing the Panda family doesn't have a servo to borrow.  (I moved the servos out of the houses into their own lot and only teleport them in when I need them and viola!  No more social meter to annoy me.  They function much better as a guest than a resident of the house.)

      Excuse the random picture of Vincent and his cousin Yvonne.  I always like to get pics of various family members together so I can compare the genetics!

     As if we don't have enough going on in this house, Fletcher decided to add to it.  Princess Peach is definitely Yamaris's dog so Fletcher, being the family man he is, needed his own pup.  Welcome Fenway!

     We now interrupt this story with a picture of my sister Tess Bowcrafter being creepy.  

     Right?  Not scary or anything.  Just walking around after dark with the werewolves.  Nothing to see here.

     Let's move on to more warm and fuzzy things.  Like Yamaris's birthday!  They grow up SO quick!  

     You guys ever notice that there's always so many pictures of your first kid's big moments but not as many for the second kid?

     That's pretty much it for the birthday pictures for her.  The other ones weren't good or Sims were being creepy in the background.  No, not my sister this time!   She wasn't invited!  Werewolf lover!

     But we do have some pictures of teenage Vamaris to check out!

     I'm not sure she's totally sold on her birthday make-over.  She seems unsure... hmm.  

      I think she looks gorgeous!  She's taking after mom with more than just the gamer hobby.  She's also a Fortune sim.  There is a twist.  She wants to become THE LAW!   Finally!  Some order around this place!

     Hello!  Welcome back to 3001 Archer Street, home to sisters Yvette and Yeva Panda!  They have a dog named Penny and a cat named Yo-Yo along with them in the house.  Time for a little refresher of our residents.

     Yvette went to get another pup so Penny could have a mate.  His name is Yeti and he's quite distinct!  In a house where the two Sims are so similar, it's refreshing to have such a night and day difference with Yeti and Penny.

     There's a different branch of siblings over just about every day.  Yung and Pearly are hard to separate when they are on other lots, and they pretty much spend their time in the garage dancing.  

     Break it up you two!  I'll get the hose!

     Meanwhile, teenage Yvonne spends most of her time helping her aunts with the chores around the house.  She does this voluntarily.  

     Its a good thing she lived with Grandma Zamaris and had her influence because her parents do not appreciate the hard work!  

     Meanwhile... around the corner....

     No time was wasted in mating Penny and Yeti!  I'm puppy hungry, gimme those lil adorable pups!  

     While we wait for Penny to give birth, the girls continued on their mission to become professional party guests.  Both got their lifetime wants achieved on Thursday!

     Congrats, girls!

     And before we knew it, Penny had her pup!

     Just one, and it's a girl.  We've named her Yewla.  Isn't she so cute?

     Saturday we had all of the cousins over for a shindig!  This is why we build big houses in Legacy Cove!

Too many to try to name! 

     I can't keep everyone out of the garage, I guess Yvette and Yeva are going to have to splurge on fixing it up a bit.  Please keep in mind that I'll probably put this off for weeks and weeks!

     Speaking of not being able to keep everyone out of the garage... Yo-Yo got in a fight at the door!

     What!  Who the heck is he fighting!?

     Oh no... Poor kitty!  MEAN WOLF!  Get!  Shoo!

     Sunday rolled around and even while Yo-Yo was recovering we still had the family over.  It's a tradition in the neighborhood, beat up cat or not!

     So many Pandas!  And I finally got Pearly and Yung separated!

     Even with a gardener, there's so much to do.  As night fell, we had a fireworks show...

     A single puppy was not enough to satisfy my puppy lust!  Gimme more!  On this note, we bid Yvette and Yeva good night and goodbye for the week.

     I hope you all remember my beloved "Barbie" sim, Zoey.  We're going to see what her household has been up to this week.  She lives with her husband, Frazier Lind, and their adorable son Walter!  Let's get reacquainted here.

     Their week started off with a buzz.  Because Yvonne Panda is trying to steal their paper!  I would have thought Pearly would have raised her daughter better.  Sigh.  Kids these days. 

     

      Meanwhile, Monday I had Zoey's family over.  She's the twin sister of the Legacy Heir Zack.  Her parents are Zachariah and Antoinette.  She has a niece and nephew, Zakki and Zavoy.  You can definitely see family resemblance!

     Zack and Toots have an interesting relationship.  Zack is doing the good brotherly thing of raking up the leaves at his sister's house and here comes Toots jumping in and playing in the leaves.  He doesn't stop and beat her with the rake, he just keeps on raking.  Haha, just kidding.  But don't we have a gardener and a family servo that gets passed around to do this work?  

     Most days start off with Zoey doing some work outs before heading off to her job as an architect.  Frazier is an all-star athlete now and sometimes he tones up but usually he takes a shower and checks the computer before leaving for work. 

     Zoey is definitely the most disciplined of all the family as a whole.  Zakki is not too far behind in ambition and self-discipline but Zoey set that bar high!  Then she did some chin-ups off of it.  I want to hate her but I just can't.  She's too nice.  

     Not too nice to let anyone steal her paper though.  Townie Marsh Mellon got the zap!

     Walter has got himself a little townie girlfriend, a cute gal named Lark Dallas.  She's cute!  Walter said goodbye to her with a lil smooch!!  Things are moving too fast for me!  Is their relationship even high enough for this?  

      The security bot didn't think so.  It went on a rampage.  No one is safe!!!!!  Oh dear.  OH DEAR!  Where's the adults in the house to turn this thing off!!!!!

     Oh, they are being attacked by the robot.  Tyson is the housekeeper.  He said he didn't get paid enough to deal with this shit and went home for the day.  

     So a big thing is about to happen.  This is hard for me but I just have to let these kids grow up so we can move on to a new generation and new kids.  It's hard though!   

     Walter is heading to university!  AH!  Such a big step!  

     He looks so sure of himself.  Did we pack an extra pair of underwear?  I sent him with a desk and a computer and some other goodies... He'll still be coming back here after he graduates so I didn't need to get a whole starter kit in his inventory.  WE'LL MISS YOU, WALTER!  Come back to see your parents soon!

     We need something to preoccupy ourselves because this is a small household considering most of my other houses are multi-generational and full of kids and dogs.  So.  Zoey bought a lot in the commercial area of town and built a gym!!  

      Who wouldn't want to work out here?  It's like a party!  There's a juice bar and everything, in case you are doing a cleanse diet with your sweat.  I set it up so that only sims that are into fitness come to the lot though.  It's slowed down the foot traffic.  But this guy made a point to stop by!

     He gave us a good review!  Yeah!  We did it!  Good job, Zoey!  She really doesn't seem to fail at anything.  I still just can't bring myself to hate her!

     Whew, we finished up the week with a family dinner.  Even though their household is so tiny right now, Zoey has a big extended family!  Big family events with Frazier's family included make for a very full house!  

      At the end of the day, the two of them are a perfect couple though and can be content with just each other's company and I love that about them.  

     That wraps up this week with the Linds!  Walter's off to college and Zoey's new business had a successful launch.  I'd call this one a success.
