TS2 - Legacy Cove

You all remember the other Lind family, right? Yamaris, Fletcher, Vincent, Ceera, Vincent Jr, Vera, and Valerie? Just a quick recap on neighborhood relations, Yamaris is the 2nd-oldest child of the Panda brood (Yvette, Yamaris, Yung, Yardley, and Yeva). Fletcher has a twin named Frazier, who is married to Yamaris's cousin/best friend Zoey. Fletcher is also the grandson of Komei Tellerman, a Pleasantview townie.
Vincent has a younger sister, Vamaris (aka Vama). Vincent married one of my EQ2 friend's, Ceera, and they have twins Vincent Jr and Vera. Then Valerie came along because Family sims want BABIES.
I've tried to call Vincent Jr "VJ" but it just wasn't sticking. Honestly, in my head, he's just Vincent Jr. But I may try a habit from my family which has a lot of juniors and call them Big Vincent and Little Vincent? Opinions are welcomed on this!
Whew, what tangled webs I weave. So many relationships all mixed in together. But let's move on and I'll start of course with putting some faces to all of these names!

MONDAY

Monday started off with money, money, money. While Big Vincent and Ceera, along with their kids, only inherited money from their Auntie Yvette...
Yamaris and Fletcher also received money from Zack Archer's death.
Yamaris is the only Fortune Sim in this house and she is having Scrooge McDuck dreams of diving into the piles of money and swimming in it.
Aside from inheritance, Monday was a quiet day with the only other thing of note being a visit from Yung's family.

TUESDAY

Yardley's family was visiting on Tuesday, but Frazier comes home from work with Ceera almost every day.
He might be missing his own granddaughters (Winifred & Wendolyn) being babies because he was quick to swoop in to feed and bathe Valerie!

WEDNESDAY

Speaking of Ceera and her job, she was promoted to All Star!
I've honestly considered letting her stay home because her LifeTimeWant is to marry off 6 children and has nothing to do with her career.. but it's nice getting some of these Sims out of the house!
The big hoorah for Wednesday though was Valerie's birthday! The Generation 6 toddlers are almost all grown up. The only two left are the Centowski twins!
I invited over all of their family for this celebration. Both the Panda and Lind families make for a very BIG party!
Ceera's daughters look so much like her. I'm not sure though if I'm annoyed by the thin upper lip or if it's adorable. It IS growing on me!

Ta-Da! She's just adorable. I love that she grew up into a red outfit! That's her color.
And honestly, it's super cute. It's not often that I keep the outfit that my Sims grow up into but after looking through the hundreds of clothes I've downloaded, well, I just didn't find anything more suitable.
I'm going to let her enjoy her cake with her cousin Quentin, then I'll go check out the rest of her clothes and I think she needs a different hair style.
While she's getting her clothes picked out and a new hair-do, here's her bedroom. It used to be an extra room upstairs with some junk and a treadmill.
It cleaned up pretty well!
The bedspread looks a bit old-lady'ish but after I mentally let that go it does seem to work well.
Turns out I need to go download some more bedspreads! I don't have many red ones suitable for a young girl. This will work though.
She had to have an easel since she's the only arts-and-crafter in the house! Vera was sneaky and tried to be the first to use it, but I bought her a basketball court and shooed her outside.
And now.... DRUMROLL PLEASE!

Miss Valerie Lind!
I did like the hairband, but the previous style framed her face too close. It gave her a mousey look, when she's actually quite outgoing! This hairband style looks much better on her.
She's a cutie! And I think she likes it!
But it's time to put our birthday girl to bed and call it a night!

THURSDAY

I love that most of the dogs in this neighborhood are so friendly with the mailman.
Maybe it's just him? But in my other 'hoods there's a lot of dogs that like to chase their mail carriers.
Uh-oh.
I don't believe the mailman delivered this visitor!
Grim is here for Princess Peach.
She's the mother of Flint, Fleur, and Flopsy.
Princess Peach is the only dog in Legacy Cove to have run away also! Such a little scamp!
A scamp that I will miss very much.
And poor Yamaris! This was her little baby that she's had since her own kids were little!
Ugh! Go on, girl. Chase that big stick up in the sky and Yamaris will be united with you again someday.
And as I went to place her tombstone, I realized that Princess Peach is the first loss we've had in this house. Her tombstone was placed behind the garage and it looks so lonely back there.
Hmm. I thought Valerie's hobby had already popped up but I guess not. She went to draw a picture of Peachy for her grandma and da-ding!
I'm not sure why some of these hobbies light up as their "One True Hobby" before the discovery pop-up.
Later, I had Little Vincent and Valerie spend some time studying together to help boost up their relationship and their skills at the same time.
Work smarter, not harder!
It still wore them out, so time to send them to bed!

FRIDAY

I almost forgot to show off their backyard!
There's not too much going on back here. A soccer net for Fletcher. The basketball court is beside it out of the shot.
The garage with the dog pen adjacent. The pen is locked so the pets and family can go in and out, but keeps the strays out. They eat enough food on their own, thank you!
And this was built for Yamaris's elder birthday a few weeks ago. I've been pleased that Sims use the seating pretty often but I tend to forget to ignite the fire pit thing.
It'll be great for fall though, now that I think about it!
There's two more birthdays happening today! So while I was in the yard, I brought the kids out to get some hug pictures.

It's Friday, which is usually reserved for cousins. They only have one true cousin, Quentin, but of course the extended cousins are invited to the party too!

Vincent is a Family sim like his dad and his granddad. His mom is also a Family sim, and he inherited her LifeTimeWant to marry off 6 children.
We'll see about that.... NO PROMISES.
Vera rolled Fortune, which is just like her grandma. I'm okay with that.
What I was NOT okay with was her LTW and I don't usually use the bat box to re-roll that. But there's too many Chief's of Staff, then the next one was to become a Prestidigitator which doesn't suit this shy girl.

SATURDAY

Seriously, she has someone come home from work with her every day. It's usually Frazier.
This chance card was not necessary.
I started the kid playdate a little earlier than the usual time of noon.
Valerie has a whopping 9 outgoing points, but she focuses all of them on her cousin Quentin.
It was hard pushing her to meet the other kids in the neighborhood!
The teens were teleported in around 3pm.
Now. On Monday, when Yung's household visited, Yoren here stayed on their poker table all night and stayed for most of Tuesday as well.
I have no idea when he was hit by lightning. ... But here we are.

SUNDAY

I don't know what I did for the rest of their Saturday, but I didn't take pictures!
But I did get a cute pic of Fletcher and Yamaris in their jammies Sunday morning. They don't get a lot of moments alone in a house this full!
Before the family arrives for their Sunday dinner, Little Vincent rolled a want for his first kiss. So I used the crystal ball to look at some of his options. My niece Kylie would probably like this hunky guy as her boyfriend!
I didn't know at the time that her arm and hand were stuck like this, so I got alarmed at what she could possibly be doing to make his jaw drop like this!
She stayed most of the day and her arm was stuck in this position for almost the whole time.
Girl, I thought you were being DIRTY.
Usually the Panda side is the one invited for Sunday dinner but I brought over Fletcher's family this time instead.

On the other side of the table, we have Walter, Ceera, and hey there's Julie!
Big Vincent is waiting for Ceera to finish eating so he can monopolize her time.
Vamara, being Yamaris and Fletcher's daughter, was also present with her family.
Vama and her husband Caden are pretty inseparable.
Quentin spent most of his day playing with Fenway.
Just some girl time on the couch watching the game!

I thought we were going to have another visit from Grim this week but Fletcher is still going strong.
I'm glad I've kept him home all week to use up his vacation days. As a Family sim, he doesn't mind staying home from work, not at all!

And now the season is changing, summer is turning to fall. Our week here is done! I better skedaddle before the leaves start falling. I'll see y'all next at the second of the Centowski houses!
