TS2 - Legacy Cove - Week Eleven - 1001 Bamboo Blvd

TS2

Legacy Cove - Week Eleven - 1001 Bamboo Blvd

Back to the Panda den, home to Zamaris & Rob, and little Yvette plus one in the oven.  Oh, you family sims and your babies!  So off we go, to 1001 Bamboo Boulevard.

Oh!  I forgot poor little Agnesi.  She's such a good schnoodle.  On the docket for this week is to find her a mate and give her another dose of the glowy dog food so we don't run out of time for puppies.

And... in the wee hours of Tuesday as I get Zamaris up to go play with Yvette, she goes into labor.  At the top of the stairs?  That is SO not safe!  Step away!

Rob needs to get his butt up out of bed!  What if it's twins!  She can't be laying babies down on the floor near the top of the stairs!!  We definitely need a baby gate, now that I think about .... OH!  Right!  BABY!

Another girl!  Meet Yamaris Panda.  Brown hair like her mommy and her dad's custom blue eyes.  Aww!

Later that morning, I saw something new in the game.  True to their three-bolt love status, Rob and Zamaris like to be in the same room.  As Zamaris was teaching little Yvette to talk, Rob kept viewing her drawings on the kiddie table.  He thinks she's quite the artist apparently!

Then when Yvette nods off for a nap just before Rob has to dash off to the carpool... Well... we are dealing with family sims here.  Baby #3 is made!

Yay Yvette, you are going to be a big sister to another little brother or sister!  But poor Agnesi!  She's getting to be too old for all of these itty bitty kids.  Mental note; Don't forget to bring in a new dog for a mate to Agnesi and playmate for the kids!

Real life Rob said he'd like to be a college professor so even though I wasn't going to work on more promotions for him, I checked out the education career line and saw he just needed one more promotion.  We can do that.  And Ding!  Fries are done!

Just in time for Yvette's birthday!  Time to set up the party room and I already set up her bedroom, too!  Even though I was ahead of the game with her room... I am seriously failing at getting these kids to the cake on time to blow out the candles.

She is growing into her face a bit.  The area around her eyes is still sunken into her head more than I like but we're getting there.  Hopefully her teenage birthday helps smooth her out a little more.

As a refresher, Miss Yvette's stats are 5 (clean) - 3 (shy) - 5 (active) - 5 (playful) and 9 (nice).  She is a cancer and already has tinkering flagged, just like her mom and dad.

Meanwhile... in other parts of the house... *BUMP!*

Fast-forward to the next day.  Zamaris is home, she has a few visitors including Toots and Lisa, and then as the bus arrives to drop off Yvette from school.... THIS:

Of course, the visitors leave.  And I really needed one of them to help clean up the place!  Grr!  For the record, we now have a lightning rod on top of the house.

"We're stinky since we rushed towards the fire.  See you later."   Grrr......

Yvette was amazed at seeing her first rain though.  She spread out her hands and I think if sims could stick out their tongues, she would have tried to catch raindrops.

Rob's been a pretty good dad.  Even with working so much, he's kept his relationship scores up with his family pretty much all by himself and he doesn't need much nudging to take care of the kids.

I can't really judge Zamaris since she's been constantly knocked up and too busy puking, trying not to starve, or fall asleep on her feet.  She spins up plenty of wants to teach Yvette her skills or to hold Yamaris, so I'm pretty satisfied.

And since all of our "friends" keep ditching us over silly things like being smelly (Hellooooo we have a shower and plenty of sinks in this place), we borrowed Mr Tyson's number from Zach & Antoinette and hired him.

I saw him checking out the place as he walked in... yeah, it's pretty barren.  I chastised myself appropriately and updated the living room.  Of course, I forgot to take pictures.  But there's a nice fireplace and new couches now.  And curtains.  I'll add some wall hangings next time and try to remember the pictures.

I'll also have to remember to invite Zachariah over more often.  It's Yamaris's birthday finally (*cross fingers she has Zamaris's face*) and anytime I teleport Zach in, his first move is to go pick up the baby.  He's an awesome uncle.  Hot and good with kids... Antoinette is so lucky.  And funny, Mister Romancer Zachariah is the only one not eyeing other girls.  Rob and Trevor.. the family sims... have been a hassle to keep out of trouble.  Go figure!

Okay, here we go... baby tossing time.  Zamaris had to beat Zach off the baby but finally got her hands on this kid to toss it.

YES!  She resembles Zamaris so far more than Rob!  Just has Rob's pretty blue eyes!

Little Yamaris's stats are 5 (neat) - 8 (outgoing) - 5 (active) - 8 (playful) and 7 (nice).  She's an aquarius and before the week was up she had flagged games as her hobby.  Yay, a new hobby for this 'hood!

Ah.. a child and a toddler.  What are we missing?  Oh yes!

Baby makes three!   Three kids, that is!   Zamaris is doing this one on her own.  Rob's at work and I didn't teleport in the help fast enough.  At least she's in the bedroom this time with a soft bed.  But why use the bed, she can do this labor thing standing up!

It's a boy!  Blonde hair and blue eyes like daddy!  Welcome to the family, Yung Panda!

Time to take a breather and work with the kids we have now.  No more pregnancy this week!

But how are we going to keep this family growing if we don't add to it?  Of course!  We forgot to adopt the mate for Agnesi!  Let's call the super sexy animal control guy over to bring us a pup.

My game create a cute NPC?  AS IF!  And I figured that Zamaris and Rob can mix up our canine family line and adopt from the local shelter.  Will it be a schoodle?  Will it be a beagle?  We'll know in 4 days.  His name is Rascal for now.. I am not sure if I like the name so after I see what kind of dog it grows up to be, I may change it.

Back to Yvette.  She's a good older sister.  Little Yamaris is very influential also and anytime she's playing with the bunny head toy she magically draws people over to play with her.  Sometimes though, sisters just need a little one-on-one time together!

Possibly though... Yvette is just keeping Yamaris distracted so she doesn't go investigate all of the noises in the kitchen.  Good big sister, indeed!

We've also been putting Zachariah's robots to use.  Sadly, no one has been trying to steal their paper so the sentry bot has just been making noise.  But the cleanbot has gotten LOTS of use in this house!

Sunday - family day- finally rolled around.  It's also Yung's birthday!  Two toddlers!!  Can we handle it!  Wright, I hope so!

I also caught Zayna holding a baby.  Wait, we don't have twins!  Oops, it seems I teleported in baby Xane instead of Trevor.  As soon as she puts him down, I'll remedy that.  Interesting though that she picked him up off the ground and is taking care of him.  Good mothering, Zayna.  I've been worried about her parenting skills.

      Party time!

Only... he didn't toss right away.  Seriously!??  Finally get a kid to the cake on time and it's not transitioning!?   One demerit is awarded to Yung.... back to the crib.   I mean.. even with Zoey blowing her party horn in his ear!

Rob kept going back to pick up the baby to "help with birthday".  Only, it wasn't happening.  So I made him busy elsewhere while Yung napped in his crib.  But shortly after, Zamaris started going in there.  We fed him a bottle.... no birthday.  Back to the crib.

Finally!  In the wee hours of the night, he finally got his toss.  WHEW!   He does look so much like Rob, but I think his features sit a little better on Yung's face than Yvette's.

Mini Rob's stats are 7 (neat) - 3 (shy) - 3 (lazy) - 9 (playful) and 7 (nice).  He's a capricorn and next week we'll have to see if he can flag his hobby.

Now we're off to Zayna & Trevor's with baby Xane and a possible new baby on the way.

Hugs and kisses,

Carissa

TS2 - Legacy Cove - Week Eleven - Archer House

Legacy Cove - Week Eleven - Archer House

*** THIS BLOG HAS BEEN RATED R FOR
SEXUAL CONTENT AND INNUENDOS
***

Here we go again, top of the list and starting off week eleven.  Last week we left off with two adorable toddlers aging into sweet, perfect children.  They are very lucky children, too, because they got their second dang snow day!!

Zack and Zoey went from insane infants to freaking adorable kids.  I'm so sad that they didn't inherit the custom green eyes of their grandpa and dad.  But they got all the other cute genes at least!

Annarosa, the new schnoodle on the block, is still a wild  child.  And just my luck, one of her bad habits is peeing in the house.  Great!  Now dogs for generations will be peeing in the living room!

Oh, Lisa, how delightful of you to stop by and help us clean up pee puddles!!  Hey, come on in and check out our new kitchen too!

Here's pics of the updated kitchen.  I finally at generation 3, with over $150k in the bank, got rid of the el cheapo stuff I started the kitchen off with.  I feel like such an adult!

Oh, and Zane finally gave me a want I haven't seen in a long time.  Go - go family sims!  I love that he's in his PJ's as he calls into work to retire.  Then he pulls out his little riddle ball thing.  Perfect!

You may be wandering how Zachariah and Antoinette are faring.  They are both most excellent.  These two excel in just about anything.  They also always leave time for smooching on the front lawn.

Even with the kids on the cusp of turning into teenagers, those two are still going strong.  Oh, yeah, it's their birthday!   Let's have one of these wont-marry-my-kids NPCs bring us by a pizza and get this party rockin'!

Let's just roll the photos and not have me keep jabbering away.  Shall we?

Isn't he just so stinkin' cute?  Look at those hands behind his back.  Stawp it, kid!  I can't take so much cute crap!   Oh, and once again.... I failed to get them to the cakes in time so even though they WERE standing there when the clock struck 6pm... the guests weren't, so *BOOM* teenagers with no sweet pictures of them blowing out the candles.  WHATEVER!

Oh, right.  I wasn't going to jabber.  I screwed that up.

So here are the new teens in Legacy Cove.  Mr Zack Archer, he's a Romancer like his dad.  And if you don't remember from their last chapter, Zack is a Sagittarius and likes Arts & Crafts.  A romantic painter.  Great.   Watch out girls, his LTW is to whoohoo with 20 different sims.  I'm going to be honest when I say... that ain't gonna happen.  NO, I DON'T CARE HOW CUTE YOU ARE ZACK!  NO WHOOHOO WITH 20 SIMS!   Do we even HAVE that many adults in the Cove?

Ahem.  Our other teenager is Miss Zoey Archer.  She is a fortune sim, and indeed her hobby is fitness.   She is also a sagittarius, and her goal is to become the City Planner.

I finally finished out the second floor of their house.  Put some paint on the walls of the last room and some lights... moved the ballet bar up and got Zoey a treadmill.  Viola!

I got Zoey on that treadmill ASAP to see if that would light up the fitness hobby and sure enough!   Boo-yeah!  Look at that incline on the treadmill, man.  I feel tired just watching her.  I need a bowl of ice cream about now.

I took a peak at Zane's lifebar at this point.  I let Amaris's death sneak up on me but did the opposite with Zane.  I agonized over his final days.  He'd already had his green juice for the week.  I fretted that he wouldn't make it through this week to see his next grandbaby!

He sure did raise some good kids.  I think Amaris had a pretty good hand in that though, too.  I mean, Zayna comes over and we don't even have to ask her to help clean up!  She tackles those pee puddles all on her own.  I'm sure Zayna's muttering the whole time, "This house has gone to hell in a handbasket since Mom passed.  Zachariah should have married him a housewife, not a prima ballerina!"   ... Meanwhile Aristotle is waiting for her to move so he can pee again.  "Get lost lady, can a schoodle get a little privacy out here?"

With the weather warming up, the kids weren't getting any more snow days.  But that meant more chances to make some friends.  Zack brought home the lovely Miss Laiyya the next day from school.  Ooooh, man.  Her mom will kill me if I let this romancer hurt her daughter.  Stay away, Zack!  I don't want to die!

As the day wore on, he had already wormed his way into her relationship panel to the point where he was telling her dirty jokes!  Drat!  Find some other girl to woo!

And listen, ladies and gents.  If you don't know any dirty jokes involving beaded necklaces... well... you have the internet.  That's all I'm saying.  And this meme.  Scroll by fast if you want to maintain your innocence!!!

Antoinette meanwhile was working on maxing out her charisma skill.  She's trying to convince the citizens of Legacy Cove that they really need a good cemetary.  Though Amaris has been quite docile this week and there really weren't many sightings, we still remember the terror each evening last week!

Zoey is learning to cook, and I'm very impressed that she didn't burn her first attempt at dinner.  Antoinette cooks a lot, or Zachariah grills.  Zane buys pizza.  But Antoinette was out to work and Zach was working on his robots in the garage so Zoey took one for the team.  She is going to be quite the over achiever, this one.

But when she's not being a fortune-minded fitness machine, she is working on a normal sibling relationship with her twin.  Sigh.  NO FISTS!!  I swear, I've been yelling this all day.  First at my niece and nephew who were visiting this morning and then at my sims.

Since spring was in full swing now, I spent their Friday morning working on the lawn.  Little ivy here... some trees here... fencing here, yes! ... here's a gate... mmmkay!  Ta-da!  Does it look like a cute little manor house?  I need to play with the ivy and mix it up a little more but that will do for now.

What tha.... Ooohkay, I see where the kids are getting it now.  Great job, Zach.  Sheesh!

      Meanwhile... inside where it's safe...
"So... How do you know Carissa?
"Oh, we played video games online together."
"Funny, that's where I met her, too"

     "Rob?"
"Ceera?   And... I met her online on video games also"
Okay, okay, everyone break it up!   I DO HAVE A LIFE OUTSIDE THE GAMES.

Okay, so that was a lie.

Anyway, let me distract you with the creepy stuff Zane is starting to do.  I mean... Either he knows it's coming down to the last few days or he's just old and lost in his own house... but... yeah, this is creepy.

I think he just doesn't know what to do with all this time on his hands now.  What with Amaris gone, the kids don't need help staying alive, Zach and Antoinette are soaring with the eagles in all their endeavors.  Zane is just... bored.  I sent him out the next morning so I could get a picture of him in front of the house for Antoinette to paint.  He just hung out there by the gate, pulling his riddle ball out, then shuffled away to stalk one of the kids.

I'm not kidding about Zachariah and Antoinette being on top of the world.  Zach's already got his silver badge at robotics and this, my friends, is what a World Class Ballerina looks like as she gets picked up in her limo.

But oh, how things can change so fast.

     No!

And my founder of Legacy Cove takes Grim's hand to join his wife on Grim Islands.

*wipes tear*  I am really going to miss that blonde dork!  He may not have ever cooked a meal or done much of the chores around the house, but man he was good with his family!  He cherished them all and set an example of what a family sim should be.  Farewell, Zane Archer!  May your generations live long and prosper.

And Ms Silia... I noticed you were too busy with Arturo to come see my founder off to the islands...

As if things weren't crazy enough, with all the crying fits and sobbing... THIS happened.

     What, what, whuuuuuut?

And then Robert has the gall to ask her to call him!!   DUDE, THAT IS YOUR *W*I*F*E*!!!!!!  I just... I can't.  I can't even!

Okay, *deep breath*.  So before the went home, Zamaris and Rob patched things up a bit.  She's crushing on him again.  So maybe I won't have such a mess to clean up at the next house.  I can't even believe that!  Argh!  Do you WANT 6 babies, or not, Rob?

Let me take another deep breath.  Give me a minute here.  Okay.  So, Antoinette has stepped up to helping build up the neighborhood.  She has opened up 'Antoinette's Ballet Academy', which has been given a seal of approval by my 7-year-old niece.

My nephew Chase seems to be intrigued by Zoey, but even though I think it would be adorable for him to match up with her and spawn a family line, well, Zoey only has one bolt of attraction for him.  That's not really enough, I'm sorry, Chase!  We'll find you the love of a lifetime, but it's just not going to be today.

He still followed Zoey from her house where he was being chatted up by Zack to the Ballet Academy.  And bless his heart, he tried to do some ballet.

Sadly, my dreams of having a bunch of kids working on their ballet was thwarted by teenagers puppy-eyeing each other or just standing around talking.  Ugh!

So home they went, and got back just in time for Headmaster Amin's visit!   First go at private school.   Cross your fingers!!

I had the kids dress up in their formal clothes.  Zachariah greeted him, then stepped back to let Zoey give Master Amin a tour of the house.  He was really impressed.  Except with the nursery.  Go figure.

If anyone has ever wandered whether or not he'll eat from a buffet, the answer is 'no'.  Drat.   Zachariah to the rescue!  Antoinette had slipped off to her night job as the world class ballerina, and with Zane no longer with us it was just Zach and the kids!   But Zach whipped up a batch of soup (his secondary is family), and the Headmaster loved it!  Hooray!

Whew, what a week!  Birthdays and new businesses, visits from Grim and the Headmaster, pee puddles and dog-houses rockin' ...

That's right!  Next week will bring puppies and.....

Servos!   Muwhahahahhaha.  Zachariah has been a very busy boy.  Next week we'll see what our tinkerer has tinked!

Till then!!
