TS2 - Legacy Cove - Week Fifteen - 1001 Bamboo Blvd

 

     It's been a long time since I had an update.  I drifted off into playing some other games and as I got back into my Sims, I didn't update the blog.  So there were some pictures I looked at (taken back over the course of the last threeeeeee years omg) and had no idea what storyline I had in mind for that.  But I'm gonna do what I can with what I have.  

     I didn't take too many pictures as I got back into the groove of Simming, so lucky for anyone following, the updates should be fairly short and sweet.  

     Here we are at the Panda house, home to Zamaris and Rob Panda.  I believe the previous week their eldest Yvette had gone on to uni and that leaves for kiddos still at home;  Yamaris, Yung, and twins Yardley and Yeva.  Plus a couple of pups.  The absolute worst part of not keeping up with these updates is that there have been so many schnoodles as I bred to keep their lineage alive that I don't always remember which one is which.  I cry!  

     Until I see where these little shits are shitting.  (Say that five times fast)

     In the children's SANDBOX.  I'm gagging.  And it doesn't look to be the first case of this either.  GAGGING!

     Putting all of these kids into private school isn't going to be cheap ... Wait, all schooling is free in this game.  Nevermind.  Only the best of educations for the Pandas!  

     They are going to make me work at this.. but failure is not an option.  And none too soon, as the next Panda cub is off to uni.  Yamaris is growing up!

     It's a busy week, what with visits from the Headmaster, a kid heading off to college, and now there's a birthday.  No rest for the wicked.  I'm heartbroken all over again that my beautiful Zamaris is growing up also!   Like daughter, like mother.  

     At least they do everything with a crowd of family and friends.  There's always a whole houseful of Sims to help celebrate every occasion.  The downside to all this warm happiness is that I stress over my neighborhood eventually overcrowding again.

      Remember how I said I got very lax at taking pictures as I returned to playing?  ... I unfortunately didn't get a pic of Zamaris aged up to elder.  She looks absolutely smashing though, let me tell you.  I'm sure in a future update we'll get a chance to admire her aging.  Oops.

     Wow, Week #15 already!?   I've been playing this neighborhood in spurts for the last year but 15 seems crazy!  

     Here's where we are at though.   Top of the playlist and we are at the core Legacy house with the Archers.   Zachariah is still the reigning patriarch with his queen Antoinette.   Those two are such love birds!  Their son Zack (and daughter Zoey) has just graduated from college and Zack is back at home to prepare to take the helm eventually as top cookie of the neighborhood.  

     Zachariah is still tinkering and his gadgets affect the whole 'hood... 

     Mainly just zapping hooligan kids on the street.  Can't say Eagle didn't deserve it...  Though perhaps I should look into opening a general store so they can buy their own newspapers instead of stealing them.  Hmm.  I'll toy with this idea soon.

     Also in the household is the newest servo bot on the street, Zinc, and their schnoodles Anarosa and Armand.  

     Awww... crap!  Anarosa was a personality and a half!  That dog has been nothing but trouble, yet it just means her presence around the house will be noticed all the more.   Dang it!   I hate the doggy deaths!   DAMN YOU, GRIM!!

     Meanwhile... out in the yard...  GREAT!  While everyone is mourning the loss of that scandalous schnoodle, the kids are taking advantage and trying to steal stuff again.  GET OFF MAH LAWN!

     It's well know that the best way to get through the tough times is by creating some new memories.  Life goes on and romancer Zack has his eye on his next conquest...  To be young again, huh?

     Miss Toots Savoy is a popular gal that doesn't seem to mind being noticed at all.  She loves the attention and all the new friends she seems to be making in the family.  That's a sticky situation for a fling though!

     Wait though... Is this not just a fling?

     All these springtime emotions are clouding romancing Zack's mind, me thinks!

     Getting awfully close to this one, Zack... I hope you know what is going to happen here....

     Maybe Zack doesn't know I've got a keen eye on his wants and fears panels.   Maybe he doesn't know that he's a grown man and has expectations of weddings and children, and if I didn't think he was up to the job then I would have moved in his ambitious sister Zoey instead of him.  

     It could just be a fling though.   In the background though, I'm pretty sure I hear a clock tick-tock'ing away.

     She does seem to feel at home here, though, for sure.  *twitch*   This is not proper behavior in Zachariah & Antoinette's home, Toots!  

     Meanwhile... out in the yard... the bots caught a kid trying to peek in the windows.  DANG, WHIPPERSNAPPERS!   STAY OFF MAH LAWN!!!

     I guess Toots isn't so worried about walking around in her underwear when she has plans to rendezvous in her bikini for the next several hours.  Maybe even a little skinny dipping... *hides the childrens' eyes!*

     The dates are going very well indeed as the week progresses.  Zack's wandering eye hasn't been wandering very far either.  And just take a look at what Toot's has locked in her panel.   Mmmhmmm.   Do you smell what the Rock is cookin'!!!?

     So how serious are you, Zack?  

     I told him I was keeping my eagle eyes on his panel!  I warned him, fair and square!  I told him!  I said, be careful, Zack!  

     Meanwhile... Back inside... Operation:  KILL DA BOTS has commenced.   A new puppy has been purchased, a lovely female schnoodle named Avery.  

     Just look how cute she is!  *squeal*  I just want to kiss that cute puppy nose and... 

     No!   Bad dog!  BAD AVERY!   Which one of those teenage punks sent you here!?   I say you were planted here as phase I of Operation:  KILL DA BOTS!   Ugh!  I can't even deal with this right now!   

     Because.... meanwhile.... out in the yard....

     I wasn't really planning on Zack getting married right off the bat, but hey.. when a romancer doesn't have a fear of getting married, a simmer has got to do what she has to do.  

     So a lovely spring backyard wedding was held that Saturday.

Legacy Cove - Week Fourteen - Archer Hall at the Academy

     Time to buckle down and get a few kids graduated from college.  Our returning students are Zack and Zoey Archer and two boys that were moved in from the previous 'hood, Frazier & Fletcher Lind.  Zoey and Frazier are sweethearts, OoOoOoOoh!

     As a refresher, Zack is a Romancing Sagittarius and loves arts & crafts.  Zoey is Fortune-focused Sag with fitness as her hobby.  

     Frazier Lind is a Taurus, he likes games and is also of the Fortune persuasion, while Fletcher is a family sim.  

     Our new students are Yvette Panda and Xane Centowski.  Both had some big make-overs upon arriving at the Academy and are looking much more grown up!

     Yvette Panda is a pleasure sim, much to my displeasure.  But variety is the spice of life, so we'll allow it.  She is a Cancer and likes to tinker.  Xane is a knowledge sim and likes fitness like cousin Zoey and is a Gemini.  

     Upon getting them settled in, it was time to get started on the more important things.  Future mate search!  Zack is happy being a romancer so he can have his fun for the rest of his college semesters.  Zoey is enamored with Frazier so she's settled.  Fletcher will be released into the townie pool upon graduating as he was just a placeholder along with Frazier originally for the residence.  Leaving us with Yvette and Xane. 

     Yvette doesn't seem to have more than a single bolt for any of the eligible guys running amok in Legacy Cove, so I shelved the search for her mate.  I'm also undecided as to whether I want her to get married and procreate.  I have the potential for a LOT of new households to be formed as generation 3 exits college so at least one will be a bachelor/bachelorette for life.  

     I've been on the fence with Xane, too.  But he seems to be more interested in the pool of single sims so we'll do some experimenting.  We got started with the crystal ball and *drumroll* Bobbi came up as an high two-bolter!

     While Xane worked on his friendship with Bobbi Wetninja and the other kids balanced hobbies and schoolwork, I did some upgrades to their already expansive residence hall.  I thought you couldn't have cars in uni but I was WRONG!  So they now have a car, the deck extends over to the kitchen, and they have a basketball court and soccer field.  Whew!

     

     Being away at college can put a strain on relationships back home so lots of time was spent on the phone and daily visits from random family members!

      I've been very lucky too that all of the kids get along!  Best friends even!

     We even had a gathering of the single Twinkie gals as a mixer for Xane to mingle.  Wheee!

     Guess who moved up to the top of his bolt panel!

     I was surprised by how quickly the time passed!  Graduation time came up quick.  Another party was held with ALL the family that night.  It was a full house!

     Zack will return to inherit the Legacy house, Zoey & Frazier will be forming a new house, and Fletcher will be unleashed to the townie pool.  (After a makeover!)
