The Sims 2
TS2 - Legacy Cove - Week Seven - Meanwhile... On Campus...
Things have been on fire at the University. These kids, man. You think they are ready to be out on their own and you turn your back... things are on fire, the cheerleader is still doing her rah-rah-rah and the firemen are at the door. This is why we can't have nice things!
But we'll get back to that in a moment. So between the time I played the last update and this one (and I've been sitting on these pictures for ... like... EVER), I went into Bodyshop and cleaned out a bunch of duplicate hairs and some clothes that my sims won't be caught dead in. Goodbyeeeeee hooker heels!
So when I loaded up the university to play, oops, Cassie was missing her hair. Instead of getting the other shade of brown for the hairstyle to fix her up, I decided she needed something more fitting for her hobby.
Now, you might thing with the gym clothes she wears that maybe Cassie likes sports or fitness. I mean, that's a serious outfit she's got on. But no.
No, I'm delighted to tell you that she likes nature. THANK WRIGHT. I'm so sick of tinkering and sports. So now that it's finally spring and everything outside has thawed out, Cassie got a kick-ass garden behind the residence hall. (Sorry this picture was taken after spring was over and fall had rolled in. But the garden had more improvements at this point and looked more presentable!)
While Cassie was busy in her garden, Zachariah and Zamaris were busy lighting fires inside! Zach and Antoinette need a little prodding sometimes on the romantic interactions but otherwise act like they have three bolts instead of two. They constantly seek each other out.
Meanwhile, Zamaris checked the crystal ball and found her a three-bolter. Rob Panda is delighted (both in game and in real life) to be her love interest! They are sure to have lots and lots of baby Pandas.
Which brings me to a question I've been debating with myself. Zamaris wants to marry off six children as her lifetime want. Aye-yi-yi. On one hand... it's a brand new neighborhood! We must populate it! On the other hand... Do I want a population boom this early in my new game? The other thing that makes me groan is that I'm working backwards on the alphabet if you haven't noticed and her household will have all Y-named children born in it. Do I even know six Y-names? Yamaris... Yane... Yayna.... ummm...
I have a little bit of time still to make up my mind on that! And I don't have to have all of her kids branch off into new households. I can make some "sterile". While I'm worrying about Zamaris's future, Zayna is over for a visit and is making sure her future is secure. Look at these two!!
I need a hose for all these kids! Man, they grow up so quickly don't they? And they even had their first real fire. Aw man! This is why we can't leave Cassie unsupervised!
Just me or does anyone else think my game re-created original firefighter Mitch Lawson? In my last hood, his daughters were very pretty but his son... oof.
When they weren't lighting fires or smooching, the kids were pretty busy. Zach reached max enthusiasm for tinkering thanks to the train table and his blog. Zamaris was happy to help him fix anything broken around the house also. Though... I'm not sure I'd let her fix MY computer like that. And Cassie even got her gold gardening badge! She's talking to plants now. Poor girl, she really needs a boyfriend.
Before I knew it.... Zach, Antoinette, and Cassie graduated! Holy crap! Zach went out in style, of course. Antoinette... well... she's going to need a little help when we get back over to the main 'hood.
And when I get back over to Legacy Cove, there's a few more new sims to meet. My EQ2 friends should recognize Ceera, and two of her kids, Laiyya and Nighno. Welcome to the hood!! ... Suckas!!! Muwhahahahah!
I hear Laiyya is a Simmer too so hopefully she'll be following along with these updates and sending me threatening messages via her momma.
Till next time!
