Legacy Cove - Week Sixteen - Archer House

     I forgot to take a picture of their house for the blog, so I weighed out my options and decided to steal one from the last update.  So we got snow where we shouldn't have snow.  

     Anyway, WEEK 16!  So exciting!  

     We're back to the top of the rotation at the Archer House, home to the descendants of the sim that started it all, Zane Archer.  Zane's first born, Zachariah, is now holding down the fort as top sim.  

Zachariah is a romancer who achieved his lifetime goal of becoming a Professional Party Guest and now enjoys tinkering in his garage with his robots.  His stats are 3 messy - 3 shy - 9 active - 9 playful - 10 nice.  He's a Sagittarius and he's married to Antoinette, who herself was an heiress back in Legacyville.  

     Antoinette (Mellon) Archer is a sports loving knowledge gal who met her dream of being a World Class Ballet Dancer.  Her midlife crisis goal is to become a Rock Goddess ... Luckily she's been too busy neglecting her ballet academy in the commercial district to pursue this!  She's also a Sagittarius with similar stats to Zachariah; 4 messy - 3 shy - 10 active - 6 playful - 7 nice.  

     Zachariah and Antoinette have adult twins Zack and Zoey.  Zack has moved back home to inherit the family plot.

     Zack is a romancer like his dad, and like both parents he's a Sagittarius.  He made his hobby of arts and crafts into his career and adds to the family treasury by painting.  Secretly, he desires to whoohoo with 20 sims but he's settled down with his wife Toots.

     Toots Savoy Archer breaks the mold here as a Libra and she's breathed some fresh air into the house with her love of music and dance.  Between her and Zack, the house is turning into a regular den of the arts.  Add in Antoinette's life as ballet and Zachariah's passion for robots is the oddball in the home.  Toots wants to have 20 Simultaneous Best Friends, and she's 3 messy - 8 outgoing - 2 lazy - 5 playful - 7 nice.  

     But I think there's some signs that we might be adding to this household soon!

     Confirmed!  Baby on the way.  (Please just one, I'm not ready for twins again)

     Keeping Toots alive through this pregnancy was rough.   She had a rough time with carrying this baby.  There wasn't a lot going on besides catering to her needs.  And there were some forces working against us to make this a real struggle!

     But we did it!  Successful pregnancy!  Incoming baby!

     We have our witnesses for the birth, new grandpa Zachariah, Yvette Panda, Yamaris Panda, and Fletcher Lind (Fletcher, the first thought I had was that this was out of your league but as a family sim, I allow you to stay.)

     And it's a girl! 

     Zakki Archer is a healthy blonde haired, brown eyed baby girl!

     We had a lot of willing nannies to help with the baby while Toots recovered.  

     Yvette Panda and her mom Yamaris are happy to help!  The schnoodles were a little forgotten this week with all the excitement.  Don't forget little Avery, and her pup Amos!

     Meanwhile... Not everyone has baby fever.  A few sims have been sneaking out to hide in the hot tub.  It's springtime so that's dangerous.  As a few found out... Oops

     These storms are real party-killers.  And probably the reason so many visitors are flocking to the hot tub.  Ew.  After getting stinky from all these fires and using the hot tub to raise their hygiene, it's probably getting a little gross out there.  Thank Wright for Tyson McMillian, the maid that comes by daily!

     Their week was over all too quickly, it's time to move on to the Panda household!

     Wrapping up the week with a check in on the kids at uni.  Wow, they aren't really kids anymore are they?  On the cusp of adulthood, preparing to step up into their positions to inherit family homes or start new houses.  It's time to learn to make grown up decisions.......

     Mmmkay, so that's me.  My simself.  Making grown up decisions to light the train table on fire.  Who put me in charge around here?

     At least Yamaris is on the right path.  I've nudged her towards Fletcher Lind and she's taken right to him.  They are going to make such beautiful babies!  

     If only this train table would cooperate!  Geez, for trying to be trusted to be out in the big wide world unsupervised, this train table is throwing us all for a loop.  This time it's Cassie to blame. 

     Don't you have other fires to be igniting, Cassie?

     Ah yes, that one right there is the flame I need to see.  Xander Centowski has found his woman!  He's a romancer though, so will he hold on to her?  She was already burned (oh the puns I have in my arsenol here) by another romancer, Xander's uncle Zack Archer. 

    Meanwhile, things are heating up elsewhere also.  Xane Centowski is a fitness buff and he's worked out a little too much .... he passed out from heat exhaustion and wouldn't get up for like 12 hours.  I had to carry him into the house all by myself with the moveobjects cheat and when that didn't wake him up, I DELETED HIM AND RELOADED THE LOT.  There.  

     Knowledge sims.  They think they know it all, then they pass out on the sidewalk for hours.  

     Now where were we?  OH YES

     Is this love?  That I'm seeing?  Is this the love that we've been searching for?  Is this love or am I dreaming...

    Looks like love to me!  Be good to her, Xander.  And same to you, Cassie!  I adore Xander, he's a Taurus like me. 

     We actually flew through the time here.  I don't seem to have pictures of Xander's twin, Xavier, out in his garden.  He's been busy back there though.  And before you know it, I have two new graduates to unleash upon the neighborhood.  

 

     Oh, dear.  Oh, dear!  Okay, Xane Centowski is moving back to his family home at 1001 Centowski Street.  The name of the street is just a coincidence, I'm sure.  Let me shoo him out the door before too many Sims see what's going on here.  Oh, dear.  Go!  

     Our other graduate is Yvette Panda.  She's going to start a new house, I am thinking a pleasure sim like Miss Yvette needs a cute little townhouse close to the business district.  Stay tuned and we'll see what we can come up with for her!

      How exciting!  A new household starting, with my Legacy spare Zoey Archer and her boyfriend Frazier Lind.  

     I adore Zoey.  If she was a real person she's one of those people you'd want to hate.  She's gorgeous (I mentally call her my Barbie sim) and she's so nice and does everything effortlessly.  She's a Sagittarius, stats are 3 messy - 9 outgoing - 9 active - 9 playful - 5 nice.  She's a Fortune minded girl and she loves fitness.  She has plans on becoming a City Planner.  

      Her boyfriend Frazier is the firstborn of generation 8 from the old neighborhood, he's the twin of Fletcher.  He's so handsome and I love him, too, and I'm so excited that these two meshed and dig each other!  Frazier is 6 neat - 10 outgoing - 8 active - 3 serious - and 3 mean.  You'd never know he only has those 3 points on the niceness scale though, he's an absolute gentleman.  He's a Taurus (me too!), he likes gaming, and he's got his eye on becoming a Hall of Famer.  Trivia tidbit here, Frazier's grandfather in the old 'hood was Komei Tellerman.  

      They are soooo cute together!

      They are also off to a splendid start, as both moved in with $20k and have some items tucked into their inventory to help start or sell from their time at university, and Zoey has a few items from before she moved out of her parents house to go to school.  SO... Their starter home looks a little like this -

      It doesn't take but a day of work and selling off some of those inventory items to have this house really looking far more established than only being a few days old!

      You see what I mean by Zoey being the kind of person you want to just hate.  An equipped kitchen.  A nice bed.  A FULL DINING SET!  Two bathrooms!  And her house has paint, carpet, and siding on the outside.  

     They are in need of some friends so they start meeting anyone that passes by.

     I'm going to have to shoo Polly away before she starts doing her whisper about why Frazier wants a creativity skill point, and ironically he has a guitar in his inventory.  

     Zoey is also a twin herself, her brother is the Gen 3 Legacy Cove heir Zack Archer.  Her boyfriend gets along quite swimmingly with her brother but I guess Zack didn't bring over his wife Toots and Zoey is the odd man out. 

     She's not taking it too well, it seems.  Well, they've got a few days of paychecks under their belt, let's see if I can't cheer her up!  I spy something in her want panel that I can grant her.  And it will come with a nice addition to the house!

    You ready, Zoey?  MERRY CHRISTMAS!  .... or something, it's not Christmastime yet.  

     And that's not all, being a fortune sim with money rolling in definitely has it's perks.  They are getting extravagances that most households don't get their first week.  

     The week rolls on to a happy ending with the family gathered on Sunday, as is the custom in my 'hoods.  

     And all too soon, their week is over.  Zoey and Frazier have got one heck of a start, but in the frenzy they forgot to tell me they needed to get engaged and married!  Well... that gives us something to work on next week!

Legacy Cove - Week Fifteen - 1001 Centowski Street

     Welcome to the Centowski household.  Did I ever tell you guys I messed up their last name?  When I created the new Legacy Cove neighborhood, I imported all my gen 8 kids from the old neighborhood to set as townies.  Trevor here, patriarch of this household, is the son of Ethel Centowski... or after she got married, Ethel Kauker.  I realized this far too late into the new hood.  

     Anyway, ahem, Welcome to the Centowski household, home to second generation Zayna, her husband Trevor, and sons Xane (after grandpa and neighborhood founder Zane Archer) and twins Xavier and Xander.  

    If you read the last update you'll know I had a long break from playing and my picture taking was not up to par once again.  It didn't look like much was going on this week so we can wrap this one up pretty dang quickly.  

     Xane is back home and still sporting his new adult look.  He's on the hunt for the next Mrs Centowski.  He's got some good bolt-age with quite a few of the Twinks such as Pearly, Deb, and Cassie, so we're trying not to rush the decision.  

     Teens Xavier (blonde) and Xander (brunette) are about to head off to college themselves.  There's a few things to knock off their bucket lists though

    Xander is our romancer and has been on a few dates with Miss Laken Dallas from Legacyville.  Things have been moving along quite nicely in their relationship!

     Those first kisses are always so sweet!  Unfortunately, their first kiss is also a goodbye kiss as the twins are too-soon headed off to university.

     A quick trip over to get them settled in and dressed in decent attire ....

     Well, we tried.  BOYS.  At least nerdy older brother Xane is always presentable.  

     I had to get the twins dressed up pretty because there's always a birthday party!  It's time for Trevor to spin into some grey hair and highwater pants.  I do love birthday parties if you haven't noticed, so there are some party pics!

    And then I promptly quit taking pics and didn't get a pic AGAIN of the new elder-fied Trevor.  But that closed up the week on the Centowskis.  

    One kid ...excuse me, adult back at home, two flown the coop, and one birthday.  Not a bad week for my game!  Oh, and one kiss <3
