Legacy Cove - Week Eighteen - Archer House

     Wow, week 18.  We've come so far!  At the same time, we're starting up the 4th generation and... only 18 weeks to do that?  That's kinda bizarre too.  Sims time is funny.  

     So we're back at the main house, where it all started.  Home to Zachariah and Antoinette, their son Zack and his wife Toots, and their lil tots Zakki and Zavoy.  I'm going to give you a minute here to refresh your drinks and maybe grab a little snack because there's a lot going on in a house with this many sims!  Oh, and don't forget the flock of schnoodles!

     Back?  Okay, let's jump right on in with both feet.  

     The neighborhood is getting to the point where the incoming generation won't see everyone as family and it's getting to be a bit cumbersome to have the entire extended family over to events.  But this is *THE* Legacy House and everyone's invited over.  There's a member of the extended family getting kind of a bad rap but just to show you, Pearly has her good times too.  She's about to bust any day into a spin to pop that baby out but she's got time and patience to dance with her husband's cousin's kid.  Just... awww!

     So yeah, Pearly is here for an event... a BiG eVeNT!   It's Zavoy's birthday!  He's the G4 heir so this is kinda a big deal, right?  Let's just buckle down and scroll through some pics. 

Then... Ta-Da!!!

     And meanwhile, down in the kitchen....  Even Amaris made an appearance!

     Whew!  Let's take a break from birthday shenanigans to... well, show you Amos, their new pup who is all grown up now.  

      Sadly, we say hello to Amos but goodbye to his sire Armand.  Ugh, I hate this!  Amos takes a good bit of his coloring from his daddy, the grey ears come from his momma Avery.  

     Zack has turned out to be a fairly decent dad.  I didn't foresee him being big on the kids but he's got the two and lavishes attention on the bellies that are out in the wild.  

     That's his cousin Yamaris, sister-in-law to Pearly.  There's babies about to be crawling all over this town!

     The whole family is sweet with the kids.  Zachariah and Antoinette are fabulous grandparents.  They seek them out, even when the kids are sleeping. 

      This isn't a completely sappy update though.  There's always one villian, the newspaper swiper, if no one else!

     That's my sister, Teressa Bowcrafter.  She might be upset because she's not invited to the next shindig.  I'm SORRY but the family is taking up all of the availability!  Marry into the family and we'll talk.  

     So, anyway, yeah!  Another birthday!  HOORAY!  Roll that camera footage!

      I gotta start closing off that hottub on prime picture-taking days.  

     Welcome to our first generation 4 teenager, Zakki!   She's a fortune sim and has her ambitious eyes on becoming the Chief of Staff.  She's also into sports, like her grandma Antoinette.  And she's a Sagittarius, with stats of 3 messy, 4 shy, 9 outgoing, 8 playful, but 1 mean point.  

      Now, while I see signs of her mom and dad, Zack and Toots, she is a very striking image of another family member.  So much so that I gave her the same hairstyle in honor of her grandmother.  

     Are ya'll tired yet?  I sure am, especially since letting the new teen out to for a driving lesson.

     At this point, I'm so burned out on uni.  So we've got a short, concise update here.  We're down to just the two Panda twins and one of the Legacyville generation 8 kids finishing up now.  

     Yardley & Yeva Panda are the babies of the Cove.  Kayla Fancey is Yardley's girlfriend and I'm anticipating her moving in with him after they graduate.  Kayla is an artist and I've put her to work on a special project, making portraits of each generation 3 member and hanging them in their respective bedrooms. 

     We did a lot of fast speed playing and by this time, the end of the generation, I'm prone to pushing them to get their grades up then using the uni mod to set their finals in 2 hours instead of waiting for the game to roll around to it.  *Clap clap clap*  MOVE IT, KIDS!!!  Need to make progress here!

     So without further adieu, here's the girls.  For reasons unknown, I don't have a graduation confetti picture of Yardley.  Sometimes my keyboard goes into sleep mode and he should have been first as he's the oldest and I like to do things in order so .... I probably hit C for the camera and didn't pay attention to notice there was no click noise and flash.   But that would have woke the keyboard up for the other two.  I gotta do something about this dang keyboard.  .... I digress.  (It's my favorite thing to do).

     Our last new house for week 17.  Our last household was Xavier Centowski and now we head across the street to his twin Xander.  

     Xander is a Romancer, a Taurus, and a gamer.  He's the son of Zayna and Trevor Centowski, younger brother of Xane, and aforementioned twin of Xavier.  Xander's stats are 10 clean, 9 outgoing, 5 active, 10 playful, but only 1 nice point.  He's thus far not shown that mean stat very often, he just keeps to himself like he doesn't even have those 9 outgoing points.  He's got an odd lifetime want of becoming a Celebrity Chef.  I guess romancers like to be celebrities to help pull in the ladies (or gents in the gender reversal situation).  I'm just happy he doesn't want to whoohoo the whole neighborhood.  

     Now Xander has a good idea of which lady he wants to settle down with but I like to have some single ladies over before we iron down that decision.  It didn't go well.  You ladies seem to like them tall, dark, and moody, with a epic nose that's been passed down for generations.  

     Silia Medrano and Kate Gypsy have a long simmering anger towards each other.  It's been dormant for weeks now but today it flared back up.  Of course, there's me in the back ground cheering them on.  And there's my own sister Tess playing with a robot and it looks like she's yelling at us to grow up.  Yeah, robot girl.  I hear you and I also see you.  

     Where were we?  Oh yes....

     You've won this round, Silia, but hopefully we can get this situation cooled down in the background over the next few updates.  Please stay tuned...... Ugh!

     And what is Xander doing all this?  He's got his eyes on another prize, so he's out minding his business.  I just can't even with this.

     There's that mean streak showing out.  Right in front of the porch steps, too.  I think he's trying to scare off all the neighbors.  

     Meanwhile, he's doing pretty well starting off on his own.  Like most of the 'spares' to each of the existing houses, he was sent off to university with a few necessary items in his inventory like a bed, desk, computer, etc.  He also gets to spend his semester uni money to buy paintings to sell to help get off to a running start so here's what we have thus far;

     Not too shabby, eh?  

     And it's time to see if his crush sees his potential like I do.  

     Yay!  Welcome, Cassie Green!  She is a nature loving Sagittarius in my game and is a Pleasure sim that ALSO wants to be a Celeb Chef.  Where's the variety here?  Her stats are 2 messy, 7 outgoing, 8 active, 8 playful, and 7 nice.  

     I see I neglected to get pictures of Xander's dog Teeny.  I know there's pictures of her somewhere in this blog because she's got a reversed coat.. darker legs and points than the rest of her body.  She makes me smile whenever I see her, she's adorable.  A schnoodle of course, in case you forgot the dominant breed of the Cove.  

     With the addition of Cassie, we've gotten to make some improvements to the house.  

     Wowza! if i do say so myself!  We've got a lot of potential here, definitely!  And just a quick peek of the back of the house...

     Looking good!  That's a pretty good start for week one!  Next update, we'll be popping back in to the university house to check in on the remaining kids there then... WEEK EIGHTEEN!  How did we get this far!

Legacy Cove - Week Seventeen - 1002 Centowski Street

     Another brand new house starting up!  All of these Gen 3 kids are graduating from university and starting to fill up my streets a bit more.  Yay!

     Legacy Cove's newest neighbor is Xavier Centowski.  He's born and raised in the Cove, the son of Zayna Archer Centowski and Trevor Centowski.  His older brother is Xane, and he's twin to Xander.  

     Xavier is a fortune sim and he's a nature boy.  His stats are 2 messy, 3 shy, 10 active, 10 playful, and 9 nice.  All of which makes him a Sagittarius which are usually among my favorite sims.  Xavier is a little more reserved than the others somehow.  

     His goal is to be a Space Pirate so we've got a lot to work on. I don't have the job board that lets me have access to all of the jobs each day so we have to wait for the adventure career path to roll around with an opening.  We also will have a work in progress in terms of housing.  And we need a wife.  So since there's no adventure jobs available today we'll work on that one.  Let's invite some ladies over. 

     Xavier is happy to play on his computer while Morrdred Montana and Ceera Epe do their own thing in the background.  Morrdy and Ceera are friends from my Everquest gaming.  Ceera's kids wanted to be a part of the story, so she was their escort into the CAS.  

     Since Xavier isn't showing any interest in these two new ladies, I bring in his college sweetheart, Lindsay Mizry.  

     Bingo, now we're cooking.  Right there in the kitchen, how appropriate!   But Xavier really needs to get some gardening stuff going because he keeps feeding another addiction.  

     OMG get off that computer!  Find a job!  But... "There are no more jobs available today" .... Since the adventure career is being so elusive, I've assigned Xavier to turn his computer addiction into money making and he's been giving financial advice.  We're paying the bills at least but not making a lot of progress otherwise.  No flooring, no paint!  Just the desk and tablet PC he left his parents' house with!

     His relationship is moving along though so since he's got at least some kind of income rolling in we can invite his girlfriend to move in.  

     She accepts!  Real Lindsay is concerned about the Centowski nose, but it was part of the Centowski family for SO MANY generations in the old Legacyville that I'm a bit attached to it, as is Xavier.   Funny story, I messed up when moving the Legacyville kids over to the Cove.  Xavier's dad's last name was really Kauker but Trevor's mother was a Centowski before her marriage.  Oops.  Trevor's twin brothers have been fixed but I went too far into playing Trevor before I realized my mistake.  He went through uni, married Zayna, built a house with his name on the street..... Oy vey!  

     Ahem.  I digress.  Lindsay is here to help and I'm sure she's got some decorating of her own to do.  This house definitely needs the feminine touch!

      Oh, bless!  Let's flesh out this house a bit now.  

     It's starting to look like a house!  Hooray!  

     Let's introduce you to Sim Lindsay.  She's a fortune sim as well, with a background in pleasure.  She wants to become THE LAW.  How intimidating!  Her stats are 3 messy, 6 outgoing, 3 lazy, 7 playful, and 5 nice. An Aquarius.  We haven't found her hobby yet, but we're exploring.  

     And Xavier is working on keeping his score up on his nature hobby.  He had plenty of gardening to do back at the college house but we haven't had the cash to start the garden yet. 

      Lindsay goes to join him and surprise!  She's a nature girl too.  I didn't expect this from her!

     And towards the end of the week, finally, we get Xavier into his proper career path.

      We made it to the end of the week, and Sundays are family day.  So we invite over plenty of family to celebrate the new household!   But... they aren't all celebrating....

     The Pearly-Xane-Deb love triangle strikes again!  I don't even know what happened to cause the cheating.  But now that Xane and Deb are married, as are Pearly and Yung, this is two relationships that will need sorted out.  Ya'll wearing me out.  

     Xavier influenced Xane to apologize to his wife.  Baby steps.  Baby steps...

     Then I had to send them all home and enjoy the quiet, drama-free house for the last few hours!  

     So that wraps up the first week of our newest Centowski house!  Never a dull day in the Cove!

     I'm really excited to post this update.  But there's been some errors thanks to my random playing.  One, the addresses for Bamboo Blvd are different between the game and my blog.  The original Panda family has been posted as 1001 Bamboo Blvd but in-game the address is a more simple 1 Bamboo Blvd.  Thus this new house being created is 2 Bamboo Blvd.  I'm torn between changing the addresses in game to be consistent or updating the blogs to reflect the original address.  This seems ridiculous to go back and forth over, but welcome to the life of an OCD mind.  

     Also, this update is in place but one of their future updates for this house will be out of order.  See, children knocked over my index cards that I had my sim notes and rotation order on.  The rotation order wasn't written down (IT IS NOW) but instead, I pulled the cards for the current house being played, then after their week was up they were filed in the back.  So children happened, this household was returned to the card box incorrectly.  I'll have to post it out of order when it comes up due to other sims aging through the updates.  Otherwise you'll have children that are later toddlers.  Again, first world problems for someone with OCD that likes things to stay in order.  

     I kind of filter my OCD into this game to alleviate some of the 'problems' I tell myself to let go of in real life so these issues really seriously make my eyes roll into the back of my head.  I MESSED UP!  ARGH!   But we're just going to keep on keeping on.   Okay, now that mistake confessions are out of the way.... I'm pretty excited to introduce this new family because their update has some of the best things in the Sim world.  

     First, we have Yamaris Panda.  Second born generation 3 Panda child.  To referesh, we have Zane Archer & Amaris Wiccan Archer -> Zamaris Archer Panda & Rob Panda -> Yvette, *Yamaris*, Yung, Yardley, & Yeva.  Beautiful Yamaris is a fortune sim, she's an Aquarius (5 neat, 8 outgoing, 5 active, 8 playful, 7 nice), and she wants to become a Criminal Mastermind.  She's also a gamer which I think we can all appreciate!

     She's starting off her adult life with her college boyfriend Fletcher Lind.  You might recognize his name.  The Lind brothers, twins Frazier and Fletcher, come to Legacy Cove from their original neighborhood of Legacyville which is headed towards the apocalypse.  The twins were the first born of generation 8 and are quite the lookers in my opinion.  Their grandfather is non-other than the infamous Komei Tellerman.  

     Fletcher is the younger of the twins.  His brother Frazier is currently wed to Yamaris's cousin Zoey, AKA my Barbie sim.  Whew.  What a tangled web I'm weaving.  Fletcher is a Gemini family sim and he is a sports fan in this incarnation of his life.  His goal is to marry off 6 children and unfortunately I'm not planning to indulge that, though I think Fletcher and Yamaris are due some beautiful babies with their genetics.  One at a time though.  Or two, if there's twins.  I DIGRESS!!

     Yamaris's father unfortunately passed away before seeing more than one of his children happily married off.  He passed from old age and I'm not even sure how this happened since they all get a swig from the elixer at the start of every week.  But the insurance money definitely helped give these two a boost, along with their dual $20k, and money tucked away from university scholarships.  It feels like cheating.  They have a delightful house from day one!

      We have floors, we have paint, we have a full set of chairs with the dining room table!   Yamaris did have a few items like the bed and desk tucked away from when she left home to go to university.  I usually try to buy the kids not coming back to the family home a little starter set of items.  These two even had money to have a garage not long after getting started!

     Maybe you noticed the dog house and recognized her actions as filling up the pet bowl with food.  While sister Yvette adopted Penny from her parents' litter, Yamaris happily accepted Princess Peach!

     Yamaris, being a fortune sim, hungrily hits the ground running and starts pulling in promotions.  She's a woman on a mission, but luckily we have a family sim in the house to help keep her in check and remind her of our ultimate neighborhood goal:  GENERATIONS

     Fletcher is also a man that knows what he wants and is on a mission.  He's not going to waste time like his brother Frazier, who is also a Fortune sim.  Zoey and Frazier got so distracted with being fortune sims that they forgot they were supposed to get engaged.  Fletcher will make no such mistake.  

Princess Peach even got to be involved!

     I wouldn't turn him down either, sis.  He's adorable and he has a good job himself as a Specialist in the medical field.  And no time is wasted on getting the backyard set up and the wedding underway on their next day off!

      Whew!  What a whirlwind so far!  But Yamaris doesn't even take a breather, she's right back at it reminding me who she is and what she wants!

     First week and she's married and reached her lifetime want and I think she can be indulged.  There's something in her Wants panel that she's been asking for and I think she's earned it.  

     What. A. Week!  But Fletcher isn't about to be left behind while Yamaris sweeps along.  He's got goals too, remember?  

     Oh, I love a happy ending!  That wraps up the week of the new Lind family!  Congratulations over and over to the new couple.  Having the financial advantages they had definitely gave them an advantage but they also put in their work to get the jobs done.  I'm so excited to see what they accomplish next week!  Can't wait!
