TS2 - Legacy Cove - Week 22
102 Bayview Drive
I'm so excited to introduce this new address to Legacy Cove! Zakki Archer is the spare from the main Legacy house and is ready to get her own place now that she's graduated from university! Let's meet and greet;

Yes, to moving in. We're moving right along, but not THAT fast! Welcome, Isaac Wolosenko! Isaac hails from Legacyville where he was one of the Generation 8 kids that got moved to the new Legacy Cove. He was a teenager and you may recognize him from his time at university with the last generation. Then he's been replanted as an adult townie..... until he met Zakki!
Isaac is a Popularity sim, he likes Music and Dance (so hopefully he gets along well with his future mother-in-law Toots who has the same hobby). He's also ready to build this house after being on the streets for so many generations!
It's really starting to come alive! I wanted another 'mudroom' like I have in another house or two. They are handy for some of the storage items. A big open kitchen/dining. If we do an upstairs, then the stairway will eventually intersect the two areas I think. But, this is an excellent starter. And it's still only Monday.
I can't keep them off each other. Young love in the springtime, I guess. They have no problem with PDA! And they constantly want to go on dates, so they've had some house dates.
Isaac is giving me what I want easily... Zakki is proving to be a fortune-minded gal and not as concerned with being made an honest woman. Well, it's still Monday. There's time to change her mind.
Tuesday, I added a bit more to their house while they were both at work. Zakki found a job opening in the medical field when the jobs updated after midnight so i was able to get her out of the house, too.
Isaac made some money! Luckily Zakki gets off work a little later, I'm sure being a fortune sim she would have thought his first dollar sign would be 'cute'.
Oh, and they got a roof today! Those are free... I was just forgetful. Oops!
Leroy stopped by after Zakki got home from work. He's a stray.
I'm smitten. But I'm telling myself, "They do NOT need a dog, they do NOT need a dog!" Leroy was allowed to visit though. Zakki likes him.
He made himself right at home! I thought, "Maybe he'll stay all on his own".
And Leroy came back on Wednesday too! "We do NOT need a dog, we do NOT need a dog!" There's literally so many things they need to do, but Leroy is sooooooo cute!
Isaac wanted a car and I figured... he brought $10k simoleons with him so he could get the cheap car for now, right? He's happy, so it worked out!
After one of their mood-raising dates, I got a pop-up that both got a cleaning skill! What? Have I never had that happen before? Did I just forget that can happen? I don't remember ever seeing this! But it's exactly what Zakki needed skill-wise for her next promotion. Now to just get her another friend.
The gypsy also snuck onto the lot. I never even saw her.
We put that in the mudroom for now. There's still items in both of their inventories to sell so we'll just hold onto that for a rainy day.
Because look how impressive this house already looks! It definitely helps that they both have jobs bringing in about $3k a day between the two of them.
Isaac wants to be a Media Magnate so we finally found him a career in the journalism field!
He took a paycut, but got a promotion the first day. What a team player!
I'm not sure why Zakki never got 'encouraged' higher than her 1 nice point. She LOVES to start arguments. Her brother Zavoy is over to visit and she's already started in on him. Luckily Isaac is totally smitten and he doesn't care much about her starting arguments. Me, on the other hand. I'm like, "Here she goes again..."
On Saturday, Isaac and I sat down and had a discussion. Zakki still hasn't give us a want to get engaged or married. She hasn't given any indication that she's not happy in the relationship either though, aside from her starting arguments. Saturday was my planned day to have a wedding. I thought she'd surely, especially with all the home dates, have been cooperative by now.
Isaac said he still wanted to ask her. The worst she could do is say no, right?
She said YES!
So while Zakki assembled her family for a group outing for a wedding at the chapel, Isaac went .... bug hunting? What? Seriously, Isaac?
All I can do is shake my head. Sims! Anyway, to the chapel! The Archer clan and Isaac piled into his little car like a clown car.
Okay, so many pictures. I'll just let them tell the story now.
Walter, Julie Jaz, Zakki, MOB Toots, Frazier
Mother and Father of the Bride
Zavoy, Frazier, Zoey
Same, just with a sassier Zoey
Walter and Zavoy
Zakki and her father Zack
I'm not going to lie, I had a great time with this wedding! I forgot to get my traditional guest shots immediately following the ceremony but I think the reception pictures definitely made up for it.
Mr and Mrs Wolosenko seemed to be pleased as punch also with the way their week is going!
No time for a honeymoon (and I still don't play with Bon Voyage), after the wedding Saturday it was time to make an additional improvement to the house so we could have Sunday family dinner!
Then I invited over Zakki's whole family. Parents Zack and Toots, brother Zavoy, Aunt Zoey & Uncle Frazier, her cousin and BFF Walter and his fiance Julie Jaz. I had another really great time watching them interact as a family. These guys are tightknit without being obnoxious about it.
Cute picture of the generation four crew
I really loved how Isaac is right in the middle and immediately accepted into the clan. Before Zakki graduated university, it was a bit of a struggle to get Zack and Toots to befriend him but their relationships have improved so much this week. And Isaac was already best friends with Zavoy from visiting Zakki at uni.
With the close of spring, and turning to summer, it's time to move on. There's just the university left for week 22, then we start a new summer in the Cove!
Thank you for reading!
