1 Bamboo Blvd 

     The Pandas are the second house on the rotation.  Though its not just Pandas up in here!  The Deppiesse name is outnumbering the Pandas.  As long as the cat doesn't take over though, we'll all be okay.   

     We've got two elders, two adults, two teens, two dogs, and... one cat.  And this cat is a menace.  She lives up to her spicy name, Paprika.  

     Let's just get started here.

As I left their house last week, Yvonne was desperately trying to teach Paprika to "come here".  

She finally succeeded shortly before dawn.  

Why this was so important to her, I don't know.  I don't WANT to know.  But now the crazy cat can come when called. 

So the moment when Yvonne finally gets to pass out in bed and everyone is sleeping...

Things go sideways downstairs.  The bathtub off the nursery has a leak, the cleanbot short circuited trying to clean the puddles so now... Chaos.

Mondays, man. Luckily we have a tinkerer in the house again (Yoren) 

Well, since everything is repaired and cleaned up now... Might as well add a Headmaster visit onto our Monday madness!  

Yorwyck wants to go to private school. 

Yoren doesn't care.  

Oh, and Yamaris's family is visiting.  Little Vincent thinks the soup is out of this world!

What the... NO.  UGH!  

Ghost Reginald, this is just not the time for your shenanigans!!!  

Crossing my fingers that if Headmaster Riley is spooked that he's a knowledge Sim.  

Oh, sweet Wright.

We're safe.

That's a heck of a score.  I've recently learned that having the teens hang out with the headmaster really boosts the schmooze points.  And I guess Little Vincent was right about the soup.

Between the cat and ghost Reginald, I don't know which one of them is the bigger menace.  

Paprika is always trying to scratch up the benches in the back yard.  Ghost Reginald refuses to let Pearly near her garden at night.  

FINE!  I give up!

Poor Pearly is going to have a heart attack trying to weed her garden.

I proclaim Monday is over!  Everyone just go to bed.  Sheesh.

TUESDAY

I have to cut Pepper off from the Kibble of Life.  So its now or never if I want her to have a pup.   

I think this is the highlight of everyone's Tuesday.

I feel like we're all in junior high watching the doggies do the humpty hump.

Yardley's household is over plus an extra townie teen one of the boys brought home from school.

Yup, this was the highlight.  Nothing more to report for Tuesday.

WEDNESDAY

Just Yeva over to visit on Wednesday.  I'm pretty sure she's Yorwyck's favorite aunt.  (Along with Yvette, may she rest in peace.)  

When he was just a kid, the three of them spent hours on this couch watching the cooking channel.  

Fall is just bringing all the ghosts out.  Zamaris doesn't pop out often.  She mostly just drifted around checking on her favorite things though.

Oops, that's a lie.  

"HOW DARE YOU SLEEP WITH MY GRANDDAUGHTER!!" 

At least he didn't pee himself.  I just put him back to bed. 

Meanwhile, outside...

Pearly just discovered the telescopes.  I don't think I've EVER seen this want before.  Go to bed, Pearly.  Please!

THURSDAY

It's fall, it's Thursday.  Why not celebrate Thanksgiving!  

So all the Pandas are over for some turkey.  There's a lot of Pandas.  

I started to have one of them cook up a turkey, but decided it would be easier to just go with the turkey on the buffet table.

There's A LOT of Pandas.

We'd need a lot of turkeys.

A Thanksgiving day puppy!  

I need a name starting with "P".  The only choice is "Pumpkin".

Hey there lil' Pumpkin!

Pepper, you are a great mama dog but I need this puppy out of the house before it learns to pee on my floors.

... What is this cat tearing up now??  

Hey Sims, do you remember when EVERY SIM IN THE HOUSE wanted a kitten so I got you one?  

You regret it yet?  

Because I think I do.

The gyspy trying to tiptoe away always cracks me up.

I'm not even sure who is supposed to get the magic lamp she dropped off at the garage door.

Meanwhile... back inside the house...

At least the teens are having a good time.  All of the Panda & Lind cousins are over.

SATURDAY

The neighborhood teens started arriving before noon for their "teen hangout" day.  And why not, the weather is cooperating beautifully for a get-together.

It's a great day for kicky ball, folks!

I also noticed that Yung and Pearly's life meters were pretty full.  So I started cleaning out their inventories.  Pearly had a LOT of harvests.  A small garden really goes a long way, even after stocking up their fridge and juicer and giving away produce to their friends and neighbors.

Y'all don't make a great window.  I don't know how Trace can see the TV to play the game right now.

And Yvonne, I see you sneaking in there with the kids!

Rocco and Shayla are pretty inseparable.  This may be more than just a teen romance.  

And I'm okay with it.  I like that they seem to enjoy each other's company and aren't all handsy.   I think they only have two-bolts though so we'll see what happens when they get to college.

WAIT A MINUTE!

Yung had been relaxing on the bed for hours and it was after 6pm so I figured he at least one more day.

But he got up to pee and Grim swept in.

And I wasn't even watching!

Yung Panda, 76 days old, of Legacy Cove.  He was the first Hand of Poseidon.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Rob and Zamaris (Archer) Panda, and his oldest sister Yvette Panda.  He is survived by his wife Pearly (Finn) Panda, daughter Yvonne (Brandon) Deppiesse, and grandsons Yoren and Yorwyck Deppiesse, siblings Yamaris (Fletcher) Lind, Yardley (Kayla) Panda, and Yeva Panda.

He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and close friends.  He was a mentor to our current Hand of Poseidon, Walter Lind.

And just to show the chaos of a Sim dying in the bathroom...

The hula dancers are in the other bathroom and Zamaris is in the hallway floating around.

How you feel when you are a Fortune Sim and your rich father-in-law passes away.  

And how you feel when you are a knowledge Sim and your dad is gone.

At least there's Yoren sobbing in the background.

Yorwyck broke down in the bathroom.  

Poor kids.  

You can act tough Yoren, but I saw you crying under the trees.

SUNDAY

Since the family was over on Thursday for Thanksgiving, I was going to use Sunday for skilling or letting Yoren flirt with his girlfriend Laiyya.

But instead, we're having a funeral.  

Brandon is still making the most of it.  

I'm surprised that Pearly outlived Yung, to be honest.  Since he was a born-in-game Sim, they usually live a little longer.  I also think all the hauntings wear them down and Pearly was pretty much stalked by Reginald.

But she'll still be here for Winter.  For how long?  Only Grim knows.

And on that somber note, it's time to pack up and head to the Centowski home.  It's time to have Xane retire, but don't worry about Deb's Diner.  Deb has no intentions of slowing down!   

And with our Panda..er.. Deppiesse family here, we'll see at least Yoren head off to Uni.  Yorwyck may be heading there also.  His birthday is right on the line, so we'll see what happens!

     Week 28 and it's fall y'all!  Playing week-by-week is confusing.  On one hand, I'm like WOW, week 28!!!  And then on the other hand I'm thinking "ONLY week 28?  That's basically half a year".   Yet, this neighborhood was started back in 2014?  2015?   Real time and Sim time are funny when meshed together.  Also, in real life it's not fall.  It's actually Christmas Eve today!  

     Anyway, let's get on with my week with the legacy family.  Spoiler alert;  A few weeks ago this house was totally full.  Since then each week the total number of playables in this house gets smaller and smaller.  But not all goodbyes are sad!  I'm getting ahead of myself as always.  Time to jump into re-introducing the household.

I was so happy to see our gardener Charles Perry show up this morning.  All these leaves!  Fall is rough time of year to have a lot of trees.  

I adore Charles Perry and someday this pixelated man will marry a playable Sim.  He deserves to retire.  

But not yet.  It's fall and I need him!

Random trivia fact for this house;

Pixel is Zavoy's dog but he's been here before Zavoy went off to Uni.  He's lived a good, long life!

Yes, this was a problem until I realized I was giving the pets too much Kibble of Life.  Hence all the pet deaths the last two weeks.

Speaking of Zavoy... This Sim goes jogging almost EVERY morning.  But he is just now maxing his enthusiasm for fitness?  

And you see how he maxed it.  By being on a computer and not actually doing fitness things! 

The Sims are very complicated creatures.

TUESDAY

It was a bright, warm fall morning when Grim showed up to herald our first loss.  

Oh, Acapella...

I even personally showed up to attend her passing.

This maid, Gretchen, has a nose for drama.  Has anyone else noticed she's around so often when things get exciting??

Gretchen finally went back to work but then the Zinc 2.0 quit raking up leaves (THESE INCESSANT LEAVES OMG) to come mourn.  Fair though, he had a decent relationship with Acapella.

Both Pixel and Lady also came to send our good girl off to Grim Isle.

Acapella was Toots's dog originally.  Which is how she got her name, as Toots was very into the music and dance hobby.  Specifically music and especially the piano.  

Acapella and Pixel were mates, and along with Lady there were two other pups in their litter, Lyric and Linus. 

Go on, girl!  I'm sure Toots is waiting for you!

I was doing good until Pixel's backward glance.  Dang it!  MY HEART!

... Zavoy???

Trust a Sim to knock the sad emotions right out of your body.

Is he even serious right now?

I can't EVEN.

Oh, good.  

More potential tragedy.  

Why do we even have that lightning rod on the roof of the house if it's not going to work?  No, no.  I know.   SIMS.  They thrive on chaos.  

Yes, everyone gather 'round.

Get stinky.  Possibly catch on fire.

Ugh.

Fortunately, the only "tragedy" was Laken.  I had them get in the hot tub to invite the guests in to help with everyone's stink.  

And Laken got zapped by lightning.  Her secondary aspiration is knowledge (since she likes science), so if someone had to get zapped I guess she was the best Sim for the job. 

But tell me how she made it all the way to the bathroom to pee herself in front of the toilet.

No, no.  Again.  I know.

This has happened to me also.

.... Not just my Sim-self either.

 

At about this time, the ghosts came out.  

Zyler seemed pretty safe in the garage working on his robotics skill.  

Antoinette had poked around in the garage, but she seems to like Zyler?  I don't know how the ghosts choose who to frighten but he doesn't seem to attract them much.

Antoinette went to find her victims in the house.

Um, not that it's safe in the yard though.  Armand is on yard duty. 

Another pair of wet pants.  Gonna have a lot of laundry to do tonight...

Again, Laken wasn't the worst Sim to have this happen to.  Thank goodness for that secondary aspiration.

But at this point, I had the household say goodbye to everyone which sends the ghosts back to their graves as well.

Whew.

Just another Tuesday, I guess.

Happy elder birthday, Pixel!  

Yeah, he's had way, way too much Kibble of Life.  I'm sorry buddy.  You're cut off.  

Yvonne & her new kitty Paprika walked by.  I had Zavoy go out to greet his cousin.  Laken is a good friend of hers as well.  They've bonded over their science hobby. 

While Yvonne was a pleasure to have visit, Paprika was NOT!  

GO HOME, CAT!  Back to the hell from which you came from!  

How dare you tear up the door and my cleanbot!  Those are both ANTIQUES.  Zachariah made that bot! 

Oh goodie.  Zack is the ghost chosen to come forth tonight.

His shirt and pants don't work so well on a ghost.  Zack definitely wasn't a crop-top kind of guy.

Guys.. I'm not ready!  

Zaryn is heading to uni tomorrow!  How did we get here so quickly?

Zaryn and Zyler had a few teens over to have a last night shindig for Zaryn.

Zyler got in the hot tub with Ursa and townie Sheridan.

Ursa is a romance Sim and I think she's making Zyler a bit uncomfortable.

Zaryn's last hoorah though was to sneak out with Winifred.  We've had that want locked all week long.  

I wish I was taking a video because WINIFRED CAN NOT DRIVE.  The limo jumped and stalled a bit as she drove off.  Lord, this game.  I can't take it.

I was nervous.  This was so risky to do just hours before she heads off to uni.

But in the wee hours of the morning, she crept home alone.  No police chaperone, no aspiration loss!

And here she goes.  The first of Generation 5 to leave home. 

I'm having some emotions here. 

She seems very happy and confident though.  Go and slay, girl!

But of course after getting her settled into uni, I immediately had her come back to visit.  

Fridays are usually for cousins.  Their relationship with cousin Rocco is full though.  I teleported in his girlfriend Shayla also.  

But really just aiming for a nice, peaceful Friday evening now.

... My game laughed at me.

Pixel and Lady's relationship is in the 90's!  Why are they fighting?

NOTE THE MAID AGAIN.  And the trash she dropped on the ground over there on the right.  

Lady's relationship with Pixel.  She started this fight, by the way.  LADY!  How could you!?  This is your dad!

Daddio Pixel taught this kid a lesson or two though.  Don't mess with dad or you get the teeth!

What a delicious Saturday afternoon!  Glad the weather has stayed decently warm.  

Laken needs to be alone inside for a while.  She's fine, just furiously blogging.

She did join the kids for some food and to talk about their career plans.

Oh, no.

Oh, no....

That look on Amaris's face just can't be good.  It's too ... gleeful.  

Yoren's been walking around like this for a few days.  I never even saw him get struck by lightning.

At least he didn't pee his pants when he got spooked?

You know what, Shayla?  You are welcome here any time.  ANY TIME.  

I've had Zinc 2.0 over here every day to help rake the leaves.  The gardener shows up and throws all the leaf piles away and it begins again.  

Shayla did this all on her own.

Charles didn't even get to the sidewalk.  He stepped out of the truck, said never mind, and got back in the truck and left. 

Romance Sims gonna romance.

These two are pretty hard to keep apart.  Those 3-bolt attractions are to blame.

They are actually really sweet.  Maybe my favorite romance couple ever. 

Time to bust up this make-out session though.  It's turkey day!

Only Zavoy has enough skill to make a turkey though.  Laken's skills are pretty high except for her cooking.  She's got a lowly 4 on that.  Thankfully Zavoy doesn't mind cooking...  or ordering pizza!

Zaryn looks so much like her aunt Zakki, and at the same time looks nothing like her.  

But they are both fortune Sims that like pink so they have a cute aunt/niece relationship.  

.. What the....

Zyler!  He just smashed the "bits of wood garage" toy.  Rude.

His aspiration is pretty low because he keeps wanting to do "new" teen things like buy a cell phone and handheld game.  There's not even anywhere in town to get those.

I used the bat box to keep re-rolling his wants through the evening.  Finally he wanted to buy a drum kit.

Great.

I'll put it on the attic with the guitar someone wanted once upon a time.

Back to happy family time!!

Uh...oh...

So at Zoey and Frazier's house last week, Rocco and my nephew Lucian started slapping each other.

Apparently Rocco hasn't let that go.

Hopefully that calms down before they meet again.

I had to get one last shot before the week was over, with mother and daughter.  Now they DO look so much alike!  

By the way, two turkeys and some leftover mac & cheese to feed everyone!

      Poof!  And the last leaf is falling as the temperatures drop.  Winter is moving in, and time for me to move on.   Next up is the original Panda house.   I can finally get Yoren showered and cleaned up!
