3003 Archer Street 

 

     The end of summer is getting closer!  And with Xayden Centowski living solo, his summer blog should be a breeze.  After the heatwave with the Wolosenkos, a breeze sounds really great.  

     Let's get down to business, shall we?  (Xayden is a Fortune Sim and I've got jokes!)

MONDAY

Everything is deliciously low-key at Xayden's house.  I do get a bit distracted sometimes because between him sleeping and going to work, there's a lot of downtime.

So I try to make the time I have with Xayden more about quality than quantity.  He's like that with his dad (Xane), too.  Just a father and son passing a football in the backyard.  So nice.

TUESDAY

Xayden has a soft spot for his nieces.  It's understandable since their father is his twin.   

But I've thought a few times that they should do a paternity test because GIRLS?  In the Centowski family?  And where is the nose that's been around for generations!  Xyla actually might have the family nose but it's very understate on the girls. 

Ahh..  More football.  Xavian has decent form for someone who spends his free time playing a violin.

WEDNESDAY

On Monday and Tuesday I split up Xayden's immediate family.  Mom and dad visited first, then Tuesday his brother's little family came over.   

Wednesday though, his uncle Xavier's whole household was over.  Xayden doesn't mind, especially since he likes spending time with his cousin Uri's kids too!

THURSDAY

Thursday is Xayden's Friday.  A perfect time to adopt one of the pups from Laurel's litter of pups!  Three days at home to spend acclimating his new best friend.

Squeee!  He's here!  

I think it's love at first sight.

This game really did make the puppies adorable.

Just look at 'em!  I should play around with adding videos to this blog because watching the puppy jump around to play with the finger wiggle just melted my old stone heart.

He's a frisky little thing though!  He caught Xayden by surprise a few times!

Grumpy old uncle Xander was over with his household.  Cruz came from the litter born at his house.  

I think I see a smile!  

I'm sure Xander knows that Cruz ended up in a great home.  He's going to be spoiled rotten!

FRIDAY
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It's potty training time.  I picked a spot in the yard that I want Cruz to go do his business and when his bladder got low I fenced him out there.

Cruz did not agree.  He did not want to pee behind the tree.

We waited.  And waited.

We waited so long that he grew up to an adult!  

I adjusted the fence a few times to try to encourage him to find a happy spot to pee.  

But it worked!  He finally peed exactly where I wanted him to and, spoiler alert, but thats the only place he goes to potty now!

He also babysat all of his nieces & nephews and the extended niblings on Friday.  He does fine with a houseful of kids and I'm proud of him.

Sometimes I think he would have made a good dad, but he makes an awesome uncle.  I'm good with that.  Xayden's never had a want to get married so I think he is too.

SATURDAY

Saturday, Xayden tried to teach Cruz a few commands.  They really make me laugh to watch this.  

Cruz also will start work on Monday in the Show Biz career.  We need to unlock some of the pet career rewards.  I know there are cheats, but I'll see how many I can get the old fashioned way first. 

Leroy!!  Where have you BEEN??  The Wolosenkos miss you, buddy!

He's a stray but used to come by Zakki and Isaac's house.  I wanted to have them adopt him but anytime the relationship got close he'd ghost 'em.

Well, anyway.  Saturday is GAME DAY!  I'm not sure what sport is on TV on Saturdays in the summer but I'm sure there's something sportsy going on.  

All of the sports hobbyists were invited, and this time I included the teens.  

I didn't realize before, but all our generation 5 sports fans are from the Panda family.  Interesting. 

I've been meaning to make "team jackets" in different colors.  I've procrastinated but with fall looming I better get busy with that.

Taking name suggestions for sports teams!  I've got a few written down, like the Legacy Llamas and Pleasantview Pixies.  I need a bunch more!

Maybe Gillentown Gophers? 😉

The day was going so well before this... 

And now it's not even raining anymore.  Good thing I didn't have Xayden through a Sports Party, because this would be a disaster.  Luckily I thought it might be nice to have all his sports buddies over for the full day.  The parties are just too short!

Everyone's all stinky now.  Even Cruz.

I hope he's using enough soap.

SUNDAY

The last day of summer for Xayden...  

Time to gather 'round the Centowski clan and have a little family reunion day!

I think they are about to square off on the basketball court.  Watch out!  Generation 5 verses the Gen 3 wives!

I know who my money is on.

Remember, Deb was downright gleeful when she saw Frazier getting zapped by a sentrybot recently.  She's savage.

Xayden has a good relationship with pretty much every member of the family, so I had him work with Cruz a little more.  

This dog is ready for his first day tomorrow as an Extra!  He's going to wow the producers, I just know it.

There was a traffic jam in the bathroom downstairs.  I usually keep Xayden's bedroom and en suite bathroom locked but desperate times call for extra toilets.

Xora was desperate indeed.

"What?  We're all family!"

Well... If y'all don't mind pooping around each other then I'll just pop a few temporary stalls in the garage.  

That's Morrdy's feet you see under there.  She wasted no time.  Desperate times, man.  Desperate times. 

Xayden didn't even cook!  We set up a buffet table!

A family gathering just isn't complete  until the older folk sit around a table gossiping.

Everything's cleaned up, the kids went home, and these ladies and gent are about to head home too.

     And that's a wrap for Xayden's summer!  Just one house left on the docket and they'll be joining the northern hemisphere for the fall season!
