I thought the Wolosenko home would feel a little empty this week. Only Zakki and Isaac, along with their dog Lyric, are here while Rocco finishes up his last semesters of university. But Zakki and Isaac have big, social personalities so they pulled off a full week. Luckily for me, it wasn't too exhausting.
So come on, let's get this blog moving!

MONDAY

Ahh... I love a week that starts off with the gardener Charles Perry coming by bright and early.
There's way too many trees and leaves to clean up on our their own.
Brrr! Too cold for me!
Zakki had the day off and invited her brother's family over around noon.
Rocco also showed up with his girlfriend Shayla, and Zaryn brought her boyfriend Percival.
Isaac still had to head to work and these chance cards never seem to take a day off. I had Isaac share his headphones.
Nice! We have success!
Since he's a popularity Sim and has a lock want for 30 best friends, I for once don't mind him bringing home an extra Sim.
Back to our regularly scheduled family gathering...
Zakki and Percival seem to hit it off quickly. Turns out they have 3 bolts. Thankfully she also has 3 bolts with Isaac so hopefully nothing goes sideways here.
While Zakki kicks a ball around in her own house, Zaryn makes sure to get close and snuggly with her boyfriend to make sure he remembers he's here with her!

After a late dinner, it was finally time to bring the evening to an end.

Today's guests are Zakki's cousin Walter and his family. Rocco and Shayla are here again, but Winifred and Wendolyn haven't pinned down a sure match yet so I didn't teleport in their prospective boyfriends.

The nice thing about having a family on the smaller side is that they have more time for friends.

Mr Perry was just here a few days ago. It's winter. How have the bushes gotten this out of control since he was here last??
The gardener, maid, and repairwoman are all here today!
Seriously, another day and another chance card. And you bet I'm asking for a discount!
I'm miffed.
I took a screenshot of their family funds before closing the chance card, then again after. They're just out $100 simoleons.

Zavoy walked by with his new pup Lothario. So of course Zakki ran out to greet him (and the dog!)
Isaac will be out of the house tonight so they can have some brother-sister time!
Isaac and his bff Caden, a fellow music & dance enthusiast, headed down to the Legacy bar to play a show.
They pay money to play instead of being paid, but it is what it is!
Ms Centowski, one of the local teachers, caught Valerie Lind at the bar late in the evening. She looks stern but Valerie had her chatting and loosening up!
Actually, there were a lot of teens on the lot. It's a school night!

I figured it was high time for Zakki & Isaac to meet Shayla's parents.
So tonight Shawn & Noelle are here, along with Shayla's brother Sebastian.
And they also have 3 attraction bolts too. They've been together since they were teenagers, I think I'd actually be devastated if they broke up.
Just a quick game of kicky bag, then maybe we'll get dinner cooked....
Rocco's a good guy though. He makes sure BOTH of his girls get enough attention!
I'm sure Lyric is going to be happier than his parents when he graduates Uni and comes back home!
Forget cooking, there's leftovers.
I put out two different dishes. Leftover turkey and mac and cheese.
I think that turkey is from last winter though... ew.
He got glasses and some more facial scruff.
Zakki shot some hoops.

It's been a while since these two had a lazy Saturday.
Isaac spent some time practicing for next week's gig.
I forgot to make her a sports team coat like I did for the two university girls. I'll get around to it eventually!
Isaac took Lyric on her daily walk.
Rocco used to take her on a walk every day so I've had Zakki and Isaac switching off to make sure she still gets out of the house.
Those 3-bolts actually make it hard to keep them apart for long.
It can be exhausting, really.
They even had a snowball fight like they were still young whippersnappers again!
I know Valerie is an old soul, but I declined this. It seemed weird.
With the last of the daylight, Zakki built a snowman.
This is what 1 point of niceness gets us.
They finished up their lazy day with a small dinner.
Leftovers and juice, yay.....

Even though it's the last day of winter, Zakki put up the Christmas tree before doing some online work.
Isaac just lounged around waiting for her to finish.
It's okay, carry on with the lazy weekend. The whole family is going to be here soon for Christmas dinner!

At noon, I started teleporting everyone in.
I wish they were spread out a bit though.
Gossiping about Wendolyn? Really, you two?

I'm not sure how much family resemblance these two have though. I think it's their noses that throw me off.
(And I set out the leftover turkey from last year too, but shhhh, don't tell. No one complained!)
I only had Isaac set a couple of places, as it was a "browse and graze" kind of setting.
Eat when you want.
The turkey was finished up first. 😬
With no pregnancies and no risk of twins, I had Zakki make a cheesecake for dessert.
Not sure why it's steaming though...
Mine usually comes from a box in the freezer though!
What a nice Christmas dinner!
It's great having them all gathered around and drama-free.

Onwards we go! Two more houses in the Cove before heading to University. Then it'll be time for spring! Probably just as the real world moves in to the official summer months.
