Legacy Cove - Week Seventeen - 1002 Centowski Street

     Another brand new house starting up!  All of these Gen 3 kids are graduating from university and starting to fill up my streets a bit more.  Yay!

     Legacy Cove's newest neighbor is Xavier Centowski.  He's born and raised in the Cove, the son of Zayna Archer Centowski and Trevor Centowski.  His older brother is Xane, and he's twin to Xander.  

     Xavier is a fortune sim and he's a nature boy.  His stats are 2 messy, 3 shy, 10 active, 10 playful, and 9 nice.  All of which makes him a Sagittarius which are usually among my favorite sims.  Xavier is a little more reserved than the others somehow.  

     His goal is to be a Space Pirate so we've got a lot to work on. I don't have the job board that lets me have access to all of the jobs each day so we have to wait for the adventure career path to roll around with an opening.  We also will have a work in progress in terms of housing.  And we need a wife.  So since there's no adventure jobs available today we'll work on that one.  Let's invite some ladies over. 

     Xavier is happy to play on his computer while Morrdred Montana and Ceera Epe do their own thing in the background.  Morrdy and Ceera are friends from my Everquest gaming.  Ceera's kids wanted to be a part of the story, so she was their escort into the CAS.  

     Since Xavier isn't showing any interest in these two new ladies, I bring in his college sweetheart, Lindsay Mizry.  

     Bingo, now we're cooking.  Right there in the kitchen, how appropriate!   But Xavier really needs to get some gardening stuff going because he keeps feeding another addiction.  

     OMG get off that computer!  Find a job!  But... "There are no more jobs available today" .... Since the adventure career is being so elusive, I've assigned Xavier to turn his computer addiction into money making and he's been giving financial advice.  We're paying the bills at least but not making a lot of progress otherwise.  No flooring, no paint!  Just the desk and tablet PC he left his parents' house with!

     His relationship is moving along though so since he's got at least some kind of income rolling in we can invite his girlfriend to move in.  

     She accepts!  Real Lindsay is concerned about the Centowski nose, but it was part of the Centowski family for SO MANY generations in the old Legacyville that I'm a bit attached to it, as is Xavier.   Funny story, I messed up when moving the Legacyville kids over to the Cove.  Xavier's dad's last name was really Kauker but Trevor's mother was a Centowski before her marriage.  Oops.  Trevor's twin brothers have been fixed but I went too far into playing Trevor before I realized my mistake.  He went through uni, married Zayna, built a house with his name on the street..... Oy vey!  

     Ahem.  I digress.  Lindsay is here to help and I'm sure she's got some decorating of her own to do.  This house definitely needs the feminine touch!

      Oh, bless!  Let's flesh out this house a bit now.  

     It's starting to look like a house!  Hooray!  

     Let's introduce you to Sim Lindsay.  She's a fortune sim as well, with a background in pleasure.  She wants to become THE LAW.  How intimidating!  Her stats are 3 messy, 6 outgoing, 3 lazy, 7 playful, and 5 nice. An Aquarius.  We haven't found her hobby yet, but we're exploring.  

     And Xavier is working on keeping his score up on his nature hobby.  He had plenty of gardening to do back at the college house but we haven't had the cash to start the garden yet. 

      Lindsay goes to join him and surprise!  She's a nature girl too.  I didn't expect this from her!

     And towards the end of the week, finally, we get Xavier into his proper career path.

      We made it to the end of the week, and Sundays are family day.  So we invite over plenty of family to celebrate the new household!   But... they aren't all celebrating....

     The Pearly-Xane-Deb love triangle strikes again!  I don't even know what happened to cause the cheating.  But now that Xane and Deb are married, as are Pearly and Yung, this is two relationships that will need sorted out.  Ya'll wearing me out.  

     Xavier influenced Xane to apologize to his wife.  Baby steps.  Baby steps...

     Then I had to send them all home and enjoy the quiet, drama-free house for the last few hours!  

     So that wraps up the first week of our newest Centowski house!  Never a dull day in the Cove!

     I'm really excited to post this update.  But there's been some errors thanks to my random playing.  One, the addresses for Bamboo Blvd are different between the game and my blog.  The original Panda family has been posted as 1001 Bamboo Blvd but in-game the address is a more simple 1 Bamboo Blvd.  Thus this new house being created is 2 Bamboo Blvd.  I'm torn between changing the addresses in game to be consistent or updating the blogs to reflect the original address.  This seems ridiculous to go back and forth over, but welcome to the life of an OCD mind.  

     Also, this update is in place but one of their future updates for this house will be out of order.  See, children knocked over my index cards that I had my sim notes and rotation order on.  The rotation order wasn't written down (IT IS NOW) but instead, I pulled the cards for the current house being played, then after their week was up they were filed in the back.  So children happened, this household was returned to the card box incorrectly.  I'll have to post it out of order when it comes up due to other sims aging through the updates.  Otherwise you'll have children that are later toddlers.  Again, first world problems for someone with OCD that likes things to stay in order.  

     I kind of filter my OCD into this game to alleviate some of the 'problems' I tell myself to let go of in real life so these issues really seriously make my eyes roll into the back of my head.  I MESSED UP!  ARGH!   But we're just going to keep on keeping on.   Okay, now that mistake confessions are out of the way.... I'm pretty excited to introduce this new family because their update has some of the best things in the Sim world.  

     First, we have Yamaris Panda.  Second born generation 3 Panda child.  To referesh, we have Zane Archer & Amaris Wiccan Archer -> Zamaris Archer Panda & Rob Panda -> Yvette, *Yamaris*, Yung, Yardley, & Yeva.  Beautiful Yamaris is a fortune sim, she's an Aquarius (5 neat, 8 outgoing, 5 active, 8 playful, 7 nice), and she wants to become a Criminal Mastermind.  She's also a gamer which I think we can all appreciate!

     She's starting off her adult life with her college boyfriend Fletcher Lind.  You might recognize his name.  The Lind brothers, twins Frazier and Fletcher, come to Legacy Cove from their original neighborhood of Legacyville which is headed towards the apocalypse.  The twins were the first born of generation 8 and are quite the lookers in my opinion.  Their grandfather is non-other than the infamous Komei Tellerman.  

     Fletcher is the younger of the twins.  His brother Frazier is currently wed to Yamaris's cousin Zoey, AKA my Barbie sim.  Whew.  What a tangled web I'm weaving.  Fletcher is a Gemini family sim and he is a sports fan in this incarnation of his life.  His goal is to marry off 6 children and unfortunately I'm not planning to indulge that, though I think Fletcher and Yamaris are due some beautiful babies with their genetics.  One at a time though.  Or two, if there's twins.  I DIGRESS!!

     Yamaris's father unfortunately passed away before seeing more than one of his children happily married off.  He passed from old age and I'm not even sure how this happened since they all get a swig from the elixer at the start of every week.  But the insurance money definitely helped give these two a boost, along with their dual $20k, and money tucked away from university scholarships.  It feels like cheating.  They have a delightful house from day one!

      We have floors, we have paint, we have a full set of chairs with the dining room table!   Yamaris did have a few items like the bed and desk tucked away from when she left home to go to university.  I usually try to buy the kids not coming back to the family home a little starter set of items.  These two even had money to have a garage not long after getting started!

     Maybe you noticed the dog house and recognized her actions as filling up the pet bowl with food.  While sister Yvette adopted Penny from her parents' litter, Yamaris happily accepted Princess Peach!

     Yamaris, being a fortune sim, hungrily hits the ground running and starts pulling in promotions.  She's a woman on a mission, but luckily we have a family sim in the house to help keep her in check and remind her of our ultimate neighborhood goal:  GENERATIONS

     Fletcher is also a man that knows what he wants and is on a mission.  He's not going to waste time like his brother Frazier, who is also a Fortune sim.  Zoey and Frazier got so distracted with being fortune sims that they forgot they were supposed to get engaged.  Fletcher will make no such mistake.  

Princess Peach even got to be involved!

     I wouldn't turn him down either, sis.  He's adorable and he has a good job himself as a Specialist in the medical field.  And no time is wasted on getting the backyard set up and the wedding underway on their next day off!

      Whew!  What a whirlwind so far!  But Yamaris doesn't even take a breather, she's right back at it reminding me who she is and what she wants!

     First week and she's married and reached her lifetime want and I think she can be indulged.  There's something in her Wants panel that she's been asking for and I think she's earned it.  

     What. A. Week!  But Fletcher isn't about to be left behind while Yamaris sweeps along.  He's got goals too, remember?  

     Oh, I love a happy ending!  That wraps up the week of the new Lind family!  Congratulations over and over to the new couple.  Having the financial advantages they had definitely gave them an advantage but they also put in their work to get the jobs done.  I'm so excited to see what they accomplish next week!  Can't wait!

Legacy Cove - Week Seventeen - 101 Bayview Drive

     Short and sweet update for solo Yvette Panda.  Yvette is a tinkering Cancer, and I mean that as her astrological sign.  She's 5 neat, 3 shy, 5 active, 5 playful, and 9 nice.  Her lifetime want is to be a Professional Party Guest.  She's a pleasure sim, which I loathe.  She's been a challenge for me to play as I love the big families and the wants that come up for a pleasure aspiration are rough.  Yvette comes from a big family though; the Panda brood was the largest for the generation 3 kids.  Yvette was the oldest, with Yamaris, Yung, and twins Yardley and Yeva following.  

     But we're trying!  And for being on her own, she's doing fairly well now after a few weeks.  

     Her house is coming along nicely.  It's furnished sufficiently and even has curtains.  I mean, we're moving up in the world!

     And she's got a pet!  She adopted Penny from her parents' litter with Ruby and Rollins.  Penny is just the cutest lil' thing!  Another schnoodle, which is the neighborhood's favorite breed. 

     And she's getting promotions!  She's definitely on her way to that perma-plat state of achieving her lifetime want!  

     All this said and done, and I didn't take any pictures of the exterior of the house!  D'oh!  Next time, hopefully, I'll follow my format a little more closely!

     So excited to be back at Zoey's house!  She's my Barbie sim, so gorgeous but I absolutely can't hate her.  She's friendly with everyone, never a negative interaction, she's ambitious (she's a fortune sim after all), and works hard!  
Zoey is the spare to the heir for generation three and she married her college sweetheart, Frazier Lind.  Last week they just had a baby, a lil' guy named Walter.  

     Here's a quick lil' glimpse of their house.  With both of them bringing in their $20k starter cash plus some items they got with their school money, and along with some gifts from Zoey's parents, they got off to a fast start.  That's right, they are only two weeks into their own household together.  

     It helps that they are both totally career driven also.  They bring home promotion after promotion.  

     Time flies with a baby in the house and we already have baby Walter ready to spin up to a toddler!  I am SO EXCITED to see if he's as cute as his parents.  They are handing down extremely good genes.

     Zoey still managed to spend time with her family even with all the toddler shenanigans going on.  I love seeing her with her niece Zakki (daughter of Zoey's twin brother Zack and his wife Toots, of Twinkie fame)

Time flies even faster with a toddler onboard and too soon it's birthday time again.  Please stay cute, Walter!  Whatever you want for your birthday, it's yours.  

Ta-Da!  And he's a child!  Soon to be BFF with his cousin Zakki!

     With all the money these fortune sims are rolling in, I decided it was time to upgrade the house to a two-floor deal.  Here's my remodeling pics

     What more could a fortune sim ask for?  Good careers, one cute kid, and a massive house with room to spare!  Zoey is an architect by the way and Frazier is on his way to being a professional athlete.  

     The last day, things finally went to shit but I'm sure that next week everything will be back to sunshine and rainbows!

     Never a dull day in the world of the Sims!  Till next week then!
