Legacy Cove - Week Fourteen - Archer Hall at the Academy

     Time to buckle down and get a few kids graduated from college.  Our returning students are Zack and Zoey Archer and two boys that were moved in from the previous 'hood, Frazier & Fletcher Lind.  Zoey and Frazier are sweethearts, OoOoOoOoh!

     As a refresher, Zack is a Romancing Sagittarius and loves arts & crafts.  Zoey is Fortune-focused Sag with fitness as her hobby.  

     Frazier Lind is a Taurus, he likes games and is also of the Fortune persuasion, while Fletcher is a family sim.  

     Our new students are Yvette Panda and Xane Centowski.  Both had some big make-overs upon arriving at the Academy and are looking much more grown up!

     Yvette Panda is a pleasure sim, much to my displeasure.  But variety is the spice of life, so we'll allow it.  She is a Cancer and likes to tinker.  Xane is a knowledge sim and likes fitness like cousin Zoey and is a Gemini.  

     Upon getting them settled in, it was time to get started on the more important things.  Future mate search!  Zack is happy being a romancer so he can have his fun for the rest of his college semesters.  Zoey is enamored with Frazier so she's settled.  Fletcher will be released into the townie pool upon graduating as he was just a placeholder along with Frazier originally for the residence.  Leaving us with Yvette and Xane. 

     Yvette doesn't seem to have more than a single bolt for any of the eligible guys running amok in Legacy Cove, so I shelved the search for her mate.  I'm also undecided as to whether I want her to get married and procreate.  I have the potential for a LOT of new households to be formed as generation 3 exits college so at least one will be a bachelor/bachelorette for life.  

     I've been on the fence with Xane, too.  But he seems to be more interested in the pool of single sims so we'll do some experimenting.  We got started with the crystal ball and *drumroll* Bobbi came up as an high two-bolter!

     While Xane worked on his friendship with Bobbi Wetninja and the other kids balanced hobbies and schoolwork, I did some upgrades to their already expansive residence hall.  I thought you couldn't have cars in uni but I was WRONG!  So they now have a car, the deck extends over to the kitchen, and they have a basketball court and soccer field.  Whew!

     

     Being away at college can put a strain on relationships back home so lots of time was spent on the phone and daily visits from random family members!

      I've been very lucky too that all of the kids get along!  Best friends even!

     We even had a gathering of the single Twinkie gals as a mixer for Xane to mingle.  Wheee!

     Guess who moved up to the top of his bolt panel!

     I was surprised by how quickly the time passed!  Graduation time came up quick.  Another party was held with ALL the family that night.  It was a full house!

     Zack will return to inherit the Legacy house, Zoey & Frazier will be forming a new house, and Fletcher will be unleashed to the townie pool.  (After a makeover!)

Legacy Cove - Week Fourteen - 1001 Centowski Street

     So once again, I played in spurts.  And worse, I didn't take a lot of pictures.  But with three teenage boys running around and that damned servo that needs constant babysitting, it was hard building a storyline with that chaos!

     Let's romp through the quick update then so I can play again!  Just a reminder, the Centowski family is made up of Zayna and hubby Trevor, Xane, and twins Xavier (blonde) and Xander (brunette).  

     We started on a sour note... Poor Andromeda finally left with Grim.  I wasn't even paying attention because I thought she still had a few days left and all sims were out of the house... but then.... but then.... I noticed that I was missing a pet!  So then the hunt for the tombstone/urn began.  Right below her favorite spot in the window seat.  

     To help distract myself and the simmies from the loss, I had them start scouting hot chicks.  The goal is to get as many potential mates on their relationship panel as possible.

     We also got a new schnoodle to pair up with Annie, which was one of the adult pups from the main Legacy house.  This lil guy is Tanner.  They shall have beautiful puppies together and help me heal my heart from the loss of Andromeda.  Or that's the plan anyway. 

      Meanwhile... the hot chick search continued through the week.  There's Deb and Toots, along with cousins Zamaris and Yeva, and bus friend Chase.  He's my nephew IRL!  I need to get that kid reading my blog, now that I think about it. 

     Toots really doesn't seem into these kids though.   *sniff*  Didn't have to be so rude about it though.  

     Along with picking up chicks, there was lots of cousin activity!  I really love getting pictures of them with family members to compare the genetic notes.  This is Yung Panda and Xane having a little boxing match.  NO HITTING!  I keep telling these kids, this is a violence-free zone!   No one listens.  No one!!

     Then.... another tragedy struck.  

     As if my heart was not already devastated by the loss of precious Andromeda...

     Someone...
     ... SMASHED
     ... ... HER URN!!!!!!!!

     YOU ANIMALS!!!!!  HOW COULD YOU!!!!!!!!!  I should have moved it outside but this was the first death on this lot and I hadn't decided where to build their pet cemetery or hey, maybe build an actual pet cemetery and WHAT DO THEY DO!?   THEY DESTROY IT!   

     HEATHENS!!!!

     *SEETHES*

     After I got myself calmed down, it was Sunday in sim-time.  Xane was due to grow up within 24 hours so I went ahead and sent him off to college instead of waiting for the week to roll by.  So this is his farewell picture.  Off he goes!  

     I would have gotten a picture of him getting into the van but I used move_objects to place trees along the side of the road and fall is a terrible time for the cars coming and going through the portal due to the leaves.  The taxi showed up.   Then Xane just walked down the sidewalk and off the lot, with the taxi fading away moments later.  *twitch*

     Hopefully this wasn't too long and painful for anyone to read.  Next we head off to the university campus and start getting some of generation 3 graduated!   Babies aren't too far off in the horizon.  YAY!  BABIES!

     Time to play with the Pandas!  Home of Zamaris and Rob, and their children Yvette, Yamaris, Yung, Yardley, and Yeva.   Whew.  That's a lot of cubs!  

     And once again, let's not forget the schnoodles!  Agnesi and Reginald, along with their (grown) pup Rigsby!  To say this is a full house is no exaggeration.  It's maxed out!

     Pretty Agnesi doesn't mind.. More to play with!  

      Isn't her pup Rigsby beautiful, too?  I love his coat.  He got a good mix of his parent's genes

      So, I started playing in spurts.  I played a day here.  Didn't get to load the game back up for a week or so, then played another day.  Then finally got the chance today to binge out on gaming and got their week finished up.  Hooray!  But apparently I didn't take any pics of the first few days.   So I can't even remember what happened anymore.   We are just fast-forwarding to Thursday.  

      Week Fourteen is winter and lo and behold on the day that Yvette is due to go to college, they get a snow day!  

      At first I was thinking, "Oh no, now juggling all of these sims in the house is going to mess up my off-to-college ritual."   But it worked out because Yvette is a pleasure sim and it took me a few hours to get her darn aspiration in the gold so I could send her off to uni.  

      Then... when the taxi showed up... instead of getting in, she just walked off the lot.  What!  What is going on!   

      I'm guessing there was a pile of leaves blocking the taxi?  I'm not sure what the problem was.  As soon as she walked off the lot, the taxi dissolved and went away.  She made it to the college bin so whatever it was, everything worked out in the end.  

     I have her safely tucked into the residence hall with her cousins Zack and Zoey!  But that outfit is going to have to go.  Maybe a new hairstyle is in order, too... 

     She doesn't like it... great.  BUT SHE LOOKS SO MUCH BETTER!  Really, she does!  

     Doesn't matter if she doesn't like it, I do and it's staying.  
     
     Meanwhile.. back in the cove...  I'm getting to see what regular snowmen look like again!

     My days of evil snowmen are still on hiatus.  It's so cute!

     Friday morning came around.. and... WHAT?  SERIOUSLY?  This is crazy!

     It's also the twins birthday today.  The last of the kids in the neighborhood are growing up to teens.  (Also, I realized that each of the generation 2 kids had a set of twins.. Zack and Zoey.  Xavier and Xander.  And Yardley and Yeva.  My old legacy 'hood didn't have twins until generation 4 or 5!)

     I really do love to see all the family celebrating.  Here's party picture spam!!

     And right off the bat, Yeva (who is the problem child of this house.. she is a high-demand sim), was up to mischief.  

      Whew.  Anyways, here we have our newest teens!   

      Yardley is an Aquarius nature-lover.  His stats are 3 (messy) - 3 (shy) - 5 (active) - 10 (playful) and 7 (nice).  He's a fortune sim and his lifetime want is to earn $100k.  I haven't had that one in a while, so that's exciting!

     Yeva rolled Pleasure (as you can see above in her screenshot).  And just like big sister Yvette whom is also a pleasure sim, she wants to also be a Professional Party Guest.  She is a Capricorn and says she likes tinkering.  Her stats are 7 (neat) - 3 (shy) - 2 (lazy) - 10 (playful) - 8 (nice).  She seems to have grown into her sunken eyes fairly well also.  Shew!

     On Saturday, I was trying to get some random shots of the sims in the house since I haven't gotten very many face-shots other than the birthday pictures.  So I started at the top and got Rob... 

     ... Which turned out to be a very good thing because it absolutely slipped my mind that Saturday was his birthday!  

      Oops, sorry Rob.  No cake, no party, just some sparkly lights and a look of fear.  Yeaaaaaaaah

      Sunday went by pretty fast after all of that.  I think I packed a lot in for just 3 days!   The last picture I have to share is of brothers Yung and Yardley.  They are so alike, yet so different!

     Next week, they'll have Zamaris's birthday with Yamaris leaving for college the day after and Yung a few days after that.  The house is going to get empty so quickly!   So maybe it'll be time to head to the pet shop to pick out a mate for Rigsby <3
