 TS2 - Legacy Cove - Week 23

     Just a quick stop-in with the Pleasure sim sisters, Yvette and Yeva Panda.  They also have 3 pups, Penny, Yeti, Yewla, and one kitty named Yo-Yo.  I'm sure no one is expecting this but just a quick re-introduction to our characters here!

     It has been a quiet summer for these sisters.  So this is mercifully short.  It all started with the early Monday morning inheritance from the passing of their aunt Zamaris.  

     Then it was blissfully uneventful until the weekend.  All of the Generation 3 ladies were invited over for tea and crumpets, or something like that.  Instead... they smustle.  

     Dancing is one of those hidden skills, and as much as the smustle annoys me I do get pretty amused at the lesser skilled dancers trying to keep up with the others.  Bless your heart, Pearly, I don't think your hand is supposed to bend like that.  You recovered beautifully though!!  

     Saturday I had all of the cousins and their spouses over.  But there really wasn't much to take pics of since it's impossible to corral them all together for a picture.  

     So we'll zoom on down to Sunday for the family dinner.  I discovered that the guests can read the hobby magazines!!!

     Now listen.  Whenever I try to direct Yvette or Yeva to read their magazine, they sit down, read what would essentially be a headline, maybe the first paragraph.  Then they put the magazine down and won't read anymore.  These boys sat there and read and read and read.... Are you even kidding me?  

     Then to rub salt in the wound, do you remember how Shawn kept wanting to catch fireflies but it took all week for them to spawn in their yard?  

     Sometimes these Sims really play games with my emotions.  

     In any matter, Yvette and Yeva now bid you adieu and send us down the road and around the corner to her sister Yamaris's house.  We'll see you there!

     Hello, it's a summer of weddings!  The Lind family has another wedding to invite us to join.  I'm sure you remember the Lind family, but let's once again review.

     Let's start at the beginning.  Monday was a sunny summer day.  It turned out to not be a manic Monday, but a money Monday!  Both Walter and Julie came home with promotions!   

 

     Nice work, you guys!  I would also like to congratulate myself on some nice matchmaking work.  It's always reassuring when the other households are visiting and show love to their new spouse.  Makes me feel like I made the right choices!

     Zavoy and Laken are just getting right in line with some of our other couples.  Laken and I are going to have to talk though...

     Are you not happy?  Because happy Sims don't just run around kicking trashcans.  Maybe she heard about Frazier kicking the Centowski's trash can over?  DO YOU WANT A FLU PANDEMIC STARTED BY ROACHES?  No one wants that!  Please stop with the trash can kicking!

     Well, things were quieter Tuesday.  And Wednesday turned into Wallet Wednesday with Walter and Julie both bringing home promotions again!  

     What's amazing is that Walter has reached the top of the Oceanography career track and is already perma-plat.  Now... can we set a date for the wedding and talk about some kids maybe?   

     Zoey and her best friend/cousin Yamaris are planning a Saturday wedding, I'm told.  Yamaris is over here to help with the planning already.  They've been best friends since they were kids and I want to hate them but I just can't.  I love both of these Sims.  

      But meanwhile.... Outside Aspen is trying to alert them to danger!

     Luckily, the hydrobot showed up and helped put it out!  I didn't even know until recently that they could do that!  

     On Thursday, both Zoey and Walter were off work so they went down to see how things are going at Cove Fitness.  Disclaimer:  I set the adjuster to allow only fitness Sims on the lot so ... it's slow.  

     Even though we have a few other fitness sims running around, all we get is... Blajez Nott.  He's the review guy.  

     But he likes us!  He really likes us!  

     Later on, back home, Zoey taught Aspen how to sit-up basically because with no grandbabies, she doesn't have much else to do.  Do yoga.  Go to work.  That's about it.  Poor Aspen is paying the price!  

     Saturday finally arrived and it's wedding time!  It's been a rainy week so the decision was made to have the ceremony and reception at the Chapel.  Here we go!

     Finally that night they returned home as a married couple.  And I really want to push them to starting the baby train, but neither one has any wants for a kid.  Frazier and Zoey wouldn't even help me out by wanting a grandkid.  

    

     While I was being annoyed, Toots creeped onto the lot.  What is she doing??

     Ooooh.  I created a casual group to get everyone to the Chapel.  But... I haven't found this so called "recalling rug" anywhere or in any of the inventories.  Anyway, Toots tip-toed back off the lot. 

     I was telling her she's not fooling anyone and is being a bit ridiculous.  Then I realized I'm even more ridiculous by hiding in the bushes to take pictures of her.  

     So, ahem, let me direct your attention to Sunday morning when Violet Gothier stole our paper.  It's been stolen almost EVERY day.  This time, she didn't even wait until paperboy Anthony was off the lot.  He gave her a very stern lecture!  

     Eh, give it up, Anthony.  She's gone.  But Frazier has turned the Sentrybot back on, maybe next week we'll get to do the crossword and Julie can read the technology section she's been looking for.  

     That's all for the summer.  Still no generation 5 on the horizon but it's like a mirage.. I can just imagine it!!!  Stay tuned!
