101 Bayview Drive

     It's winter at the Lind house, home of Zoey & Frazier Lind, and their son Walter along with his wife Julie and newborn Winifred!  I'm so excited to see little Winifred grow up this week so here we go!

     I completely forgot to take a picture of little Aspen, their blonde schnoodle.  He's such a great Sim pup.  Really, they all have some really well behaved and socialized dogs in this neighborhood.  The mailman gives them two thumbs up, which is a big deal because I'm pretty sure one of the mail carriers in the old Legacyville was missing his thumbs from an incident!  

     I digress.  So just a reminder, Zoey is starting off this week a day after her momma Toots passed.  Always, the inheritance money helps soothe the grief.  Especially for a Fortune Sim.   

     Monday is also Winifred's first birthday!  I'm so excited to learn all about her, as her grandma Zoey and dad Walter are some of my darlings in Legacy Cove.  It helps that they are so pretty to look at too!  Oh, I can't wait to meet toddler Winnie!  

     Of course, half the neighborhood seemed to be here for the party!  She's got a bigger family than most, being both a Lind and an Archer!  But... so embarassing... she didn't age up after blowing out the candles.  Winifred actually fought growing up so hard, I had to exit without saving later and start over.  LUCKILY, I always save before big events.  So a little fast foward through the party... and it still took a diaper change, a feeding, and a nap, but we're now the proud household of a toddler!  

     Well, if there's one thing I can say about Generation Five... they all look unique.  Hopefully she's just an awkward toddler.  

     So Miss Winifred Lind is a Leo.  Her stats are 3 messy - 10 outgoing - 6 active - 3 serious - 7 nice.  I'm intrigued.  It'll be awesome if she rolls Popularity and be like her great-grandma Toots!  With 10 outgoing points, if she doesn't get Popularity I'm pretty sure I'll make it her secondary.  

     Then, speaking of her great-grandmother Toots....

     My heart!  Toots was a Music and Dance hobbyist.  These kids channeling in their ancestors is the best thing so far this generation!   

     I was delighted with this, and played along with a chance card for Frazier.  Honestly, I usually just ignore them.  This was risky considering he's an elder and a Fortune Sim.  But it turned out very nicely!  

     That's not all that Tuesday brought to us either!  Surprise!  I think Ceera's face sums it up.  

     Wednesday rolled by and gave us our second baby bump that evening.  

     Friday morning arrived and it's another birthday later this day for Winifred!  She's had a big week.  Monday was Grandpa Frazier day (he was the only one off work and I felt we could trust him with an infant that sleeps, eats, and wets itself occassionally).  Tuesday was Grandma Zoey day.  Wednesday, Mommy & Me day.  Thursday, Daddy (and Mommy) day.  Friday, Walter, Julie, and Frazier all had the day off work to pitch in on toddler duties.  It made prepping for the party a lot easier!  

     So did their Smart Investing!  Their bank account has taken a big surge forward this week.  It makes the Fortune couple very happy.  

     Okay then, it's party time!  

     Winifred did indeed grow into her features a bit more!  The eyebrows aren't quite so overpowering on her face, and the 'philtrum' (area between nose and lip) doesn't look so long anymore.  

     See?  Look how cute!  

     

     I'm not sure exactly of the family relation between Winifred and Zaryn (Walter and Zavoy are cousins so maybe second cousins?), but they took an immediate liking to each other and to the cake!  

     I like that picture above because they have such very different profiles!  Either Zaryn has one heck of a honker or Winifred's nose is very tiny.  Personally, I think it's both.  

     Winifred also makes some entertaining faces!  I like watching her expressions!

     Oh, and by the way.... Party's over, folks.  

     Or, hey, everyone crowd into the dining room and watch Julie spin out a baby.  

     It's another girl!  Welcome Wendolyn Lind (please don't say the name outloud.  Winifred was a hard name to follow up and I was all settled on Wendolyn until I realized there were repetitious sounds.  I spent an hour debating on whether it mattered and decided, "This is a game.  Get it together and name the kid what you want!")   

     She has Grandpa Frazier's blue eyes!  I love the genetics in this game!

     Whew.  Well, while everyone is coo'ing over the baby I'm going to get Winifred's big girl room set up and give her a quick make-over.  

     Abracadabra and here we are!  New room with potential for lots more personal touches as Winnie ages, and she's looking damn cute in her new hair!  

     Kid day Saturday is also back in effect!  There's only 3 kids right now, Zaryn Archer, Xyla Centowski, and Winifred, but that's enough for them.  They had a great time playing together and Winnie was worn out early.

     And I feel like we should all be tired and need to lay down for a bit.  I forgot how exhausting these babies, toddlers, and kids can be!  So that should be enough for ONE week, right?  Haha.

     I forgot to get a picture of the house at the start of the week.  So I looked to see if there was another picture of the house from a past update that was wintertime.  There was but apparently I've done a lot of work on their yard this past year.  So, I present you with a very boring picture of their name in place of the house.  It's a very poor substitute and I'm annoyed with myself.  

     Anyway, there is a lot going on with our founding Centowski household, so I'm going to try to keep it simple and moving as quick as possible.  And.... here I go!

     Unpictured is infant Xyla Centowski but we'll see plenty of her soon enough.  Monday started off a bit morose, as the neighborhood is still feeling the loss of Toots Archer.  But the inheritance from her passing is a positive even for the Sims that don't really need more moolah.  

     If you've read all of the updates from Week 24, you've seen that I've ended up with three guys as the Hand of Poseidon.  Gen 3 Yung Panda, and G4s Walter Lind and Xavian.  While it does seem to be a big job, I feel that just ONE Hand of Poseidon is needed.  So Yung retired and Xavian is going to find something more suitable for his talents.  

     I was thinking something nerdy but a job for a Judge in the Political arena was available.  Sounds good, it's an empty field right now as no other citizens are employed in that career.  Tuesday started off just fine, with a limo pulling up to take Judge Centowski off to work.  

     Xane had the day off so while baby Xyla was sleeping, Deb went to check up on her diner.

     The diner stays pretty busy!  There's two waitresses at all times, and Deb bounces between host and chef. But she still got home in time to see Xavian's promotion.  Way to go!  

     

     Then.... party time!  I'm so nervous to see what physical traits Xyla has inherited.  She's got Morrdy's eyes but Xavian's brown hair so... Eeeek!  Here we go!

     All that for Xyla not to be ready to age up.  Also... Xayden (Xavian's twin) is gung-ho to be an uncle.  He won't leave the baby alone.  He somehow bugged beside her crib waiting to pick her up.  Moving him with move objects didn't fix him and Xyla.  Removing him from the lot with the bat box didn't fix her.  So ... had to exit without saving (Thank WRIGHT I save before the parties since my game used to crash before the re-install).  And do it again.  Only for dingbat Xayden to do it AGAIN.  So exit without saving.  Reload.  Fast forward through the party.  THIS TIME I SAVE when Morrdredd puts Xyla back in the crib.  

     Then, SURPRISE!  Baby bump!  

     I didn't think this through.  One nursery, and I'll have a toddler AND an infant in the room.  Pray for me please.  Morrdy wanted a baby, so I told her, "Okay, knock yourself up.  ...Out.. Whatever."  And she did.  

     Anyway, third time was a charm!  We DO have a toddler now!

     Some things have to change here.  Also.  Where is Deb?  I want to discuss these cheeks she put on her sim-self.  I've become attached to the Centowski nose as it's been here for generations upon generations (and years and years of game play).  But the cheeky cheeks and long nose together are not endearing to me.  

     Ahem.  She's beautiful, and I found a hair that her cheeks don't poke through the mesh.  

     Xyla Centowski is a Pisces.  Her stats are 6 neat - 6 outgoing - 7 active - 3 serious - 7 nice.  

     So that was Tuesday.  Moving on, Xavian (who has almost all of his skills maxed being the good knowledge Sim that he is) had a second promotion!

     Morrdredd taught Xyla how to walk, Deb did the potty training, and baby bump #2 arrived!

     At this point, I'm really starting to get nervous about having so many small children.  And Morrdy's was sicker the first trimester than she was when pregnant with Xyla.  If it's twins I'm doomed!  

     Thursday arrives and I'm nervous the whole day.  Morrdy is due to go into labor tonight.  And the ghosts have decided to come out to play.  They aren't helping!

     Oh boy, it's time!

     We have another girl!  With Momma's blue eyes again and Daddy's brown hair.  Welcome Xora Centowski!  The Centowski family tree is predominantly male so this is kind of big news that there's two daughters in one house!  

     Dammit, Trevor!!!  You made her drop the baby!

     At least Xyla's got a good babysitter while everyone's watching Morrdredd give birth and get spooked.  

     Friday passed by with me micromanaging the toddler's sleep schedule to begin after the diaper changes.  But heck yeah, both Xyla and Xora did well in the nursery together.  I feel like a Sim baby champion!  

     Saturday is Xyla's birthday again.  I feel like she just aged up to toddler!

     I had Xyla hop around using various objects and the others talking to her about their hobbies to see if I could figure out what her 'One True Hobby' is.  I was stumped until she went to use Great-Grandma Zayna's telescope.  

     I'm actually so excited that she's a Science gal like her great-grandma!  Me and Xyla are going to get along just fine.  I think the only other Science hobby Sims are Yvonne Panda and Laken Archer.  I don't get many of them so this is great.  

     And here's our newest kid in Legacy Cove.  I present to you.... Xyla Centowski!

     I had to go with a blue to match those eyes!  I didn't notice the shirt under the jumper was purple (a nod to her momma Morrdredd) so that was a nice bonus.  And the hair is working for her, and honestly, HONESTLY, I can't stress enough just how hard that hair is working to conceal the cheeks.  They aren't quite as bad as when she was a toddler, but there's a lot of hairstyles that didn't work because her cheek cut right through it.  I think this hairstyle suits her very well though!  

     You know...  It's not enough that we have three generations of Sims in this house.  Two grandparents, two parents, a child, an infant, two dogs.... 

     So on Sunday, Deb got her granddaughter a late birthday gift.  Welcome Flopsy!

     Flopsy is from the litter born in the fall to Princess Peach and Fenway at the Lind's house.  Enjoy, kiddo!  I bet the Linds will be happy to know Flopsy has her own little girl to play with here!

     And of course, Sunday brings the family to dinner.  I was really surprised that Xander won the race to feed the baby.  He usually tries to avoid everyone else.  

     I also hate to tell ya'll this, but Sunday is also yet ANOTHER birthday.  We get to see Xora grow up this week.  I'm absolutely holding my breath to see how she looks.  

     And... just like with Xyla, the first attempt was a no-go.  Deb studied parenting so she checked on Xora.  I guess we are waiting on a diaper change.  

     SUCCESS!  We were indeed waiting on a dirty diaper!  Soon as Xora dirtied her diapy and was changed, she was ready to party.  

     Meanwhile, upstairs... Luckily Renee had already used the toilet because Zayna is at it again.  

     And again... 

     Well.... while she's busy, I got Xora all prettied up.  

     Xora Centowski is an Aries like her parents.  She's also already lit up for Music and Dance.  Just like her dad!  Her cheeks are better.. but they are still a bit top heavy so again it was hard to find a hairstyle to work with that.  I managed, she looks cute in my humble opinion.  Xora's stats are 6 neat - 8 outgoing - 7 active - 1 serious - 7 nice.  

     I got curious, by the way, and went to count just how many generations of boys this family has had.  In the previous neighborhood G3 spare April married Orlando Centowski.  Orlando -> Elliott -> Evan -> Elton -> Ernest & Ethel (finally a girl) and Ethel had Trevor (also twins Tristan and Theodore).  Trevor moved with the other G8 teens to Legacy Cove, married G2 spare Zayna.  Trevor -> Xane/Xavier/Xander -> Xavian/Xayden -> Xyla/Xora.  That's 7 generations of male babies.  Morrdredd already wants another baby though and Deb wants another grandkid... With 6 Sims and 3 dogs though, there's only room for one more and not to spoil anything but I want Teddy to have a pup which worked out for Flopsy needing to be adopted.  

     And now.  I'm exhausted.  Let's go sleep/take a nap, folks!
