Legacy Cove - Week Twelve - 1001 Bamboo Blvd

Welcome back to the Panda den! Home to Zamaris and Robert and their litter of cubs!

First things first, with all these kids I hope you didn't expect to be thrown right into a party. Because... that's what's going to happen. Miss Yamaris is going to leave the toddler years and join her sister Yvette as a kid!

So far, Yamaris is the only kid to inherit her momma's face. She's one lucky girl! She cleaned up pretty nicely as a child.

Yamaris Panda is 5 (clean) - 8 (outgoing) - 5 (active) - 8 (playful) and 7 (nice). She's an Aquarius, loves games, and their schnoodle Agnesi. But I mean... who wouldn't?

Oh, and during the party, when no one was looking.. Zamaris got knocked up again. SIX KIDS OR BUST! But really... she's already perma-plat. I think now I'm still breeding her just to see if I can get another pretty face like Yamaris.

Also, while no one was looking... Well, okay, I was totally watching for this. But Rascal the pup grew up. I was hoping for something schnoodley to breed with Agnesi and I got...

... an Italian greyhound? Maybe?

Wow, anyway. The kids are doing pretty great at school. They like to bring Ceera's son Nighno Clock home. Of course, I didn't snap a picture of him. But hey, here's more pictures of Yvette and Yamaris!

And since it's birthday time for Yvette, I made sure I did get the obligatory snap of the kids hugging. I LOVE THEM HUGGING!

Okay Yvette, it's time to shake your party booty. Hopefully she grows into that face better as a teen! Oh, and let the record show that I am improving on my skill of getting the kiddies to their cakes in time before they twirl in a candle-free and cakeless letdown.

Yvette Panda is a Pleasure sim. Her stats are 5 (clean) - 3 (shy) - 5 (active) - 5 (playful) and 9 (nice). She's a Cancer and she likes to tinker. Her Lifetime Want is to be a Professional Party Guest. Aim high, Yvette!! Aim high..

An error was made this week. Before I realized what mess I was creating, I sent Yvette to the pet store to scoop up a new schnoodle for Agnesi's mate and to grab some collars. The latter, I bought the wrong size, OF COURSE, and had to make a second run to the pet store the next day. We're the best customers.

Uncle Zachariah asked if she had her learner's permit. Um. Sure, we do!

Meet Reginald. He's a big doofus and I'm already in love with that bearded face.

Meanwhile... back at the house.... *BUMP!*

And where's my nephew at! He was here at my real house today and saw my game. He asked where his sim was. I told him he'd been by. There's his back as proof!!

Meanwhile... while my back was turned... I don't know if it was Rascal or Reginald but someone is trying to make me angry.

Though it was probably Reginald, I realized my error the next sim-day. With Zamaris & Robert, three kids and another on the way, and three dogs... we are maxing out the lot occupancy. UGHHHH. Concessions must be made.
One, the six kid idea is officially abandoned. This is the last week I'm letting them have kids since Zack and Zoey are off to college next week. And the schnoodles must be bred!! So two, we had to let Rascal go back into the adoption pool. I sometimes forget this is a game and all, and I was really upset to send Rascal away. But he'll be the first one adopted back out, and likely (spoiler alert ahead) I'll have Yvette adopt him back out when she graduates eventually from uni and goes out on her own.

For anyone that didn't catch on to the spoiler, I've already decided Yvette will not be the heir in the Bamboo Palace. I'll leave it a secret as long as I can as to who is going to inherit their estate.

Back to happier things again! You'll never believe this but it's party time again! Yeehaw, Yung is growing up!

Zamaris snuck upstairs for a pregnancy nap but before I could get Yung all dolled up to show him off....

So.. I may or may not have let Zamaris bake a cheesecake. I may or may not have let her eat a slice or two. This was before I did the head count! Kinda why I had to let Rascal go back to the adoption pool... I got ahead of myself!!

Our first twin is a boy, Yardley.

Then breathe!! Push-push-push!

And we have another girl! She was appointed the name Yeva.

Oh, and by the way, look who may turn out to be a total cutie! His eyes are still recessed but his face is a bit smoother than Yvette's.

Yung Panda is a Capricorn. His stats are 7 (clean) - 3 (shy) - 3 (lazy) - 9 (playful) and 7 (nice). He is following in sister Yamaris's footsteps into the gaming hobby.

Yvette was a huge help with the twins. Somehow, Robert was ready to tank on most of his stats (sympathetic pregnancy?) when the kids were born and I had to send him to green up and get to bed so he could work the next morning. So Yvette pitched in to do the very first diaper changes in the morning. What a kid! Changes a few stinky diapers then hops on the school bus!

After the kids had been bused off to school, I decided it was time to build a garage and a skilling area. There's five bedrooms in the house, and with the twins arriving, I decided they needed the bigger one on the back of the house and I moved the computer out of the small room into the twins future room temporarily. What I'm going to eventually do with the computer, I dunno. I have room for it in the living room but blah! I wanted to tuck it away somewhere.

Anyway!! The estate is now really looking like an estate! It's fancy n' stuff!

Come on down the driveway and I'll show you around!

The swingset and sandbox (which I discovered is sadly only for looks.. they can't play in it. Phooey!) was added on a few days earlier and I forgot to take pictures of it. But here it is! It's on the street side of the backyard behind the nursery.

And the garage with plenty of room in the back for the job skilling items to be stashed away in. I did some quick landscaping, and locked the cowplant up in a fenced area. Still no gate. One of the cowplants in my last hood mysteriously ate several NPCs. The cute ones! JERK!

And listen, it's terrible what I did to Rascal and all but Agnesi isn't getting any younger. I actually had to give her yet another dose of life-extending pet food to get her puppied up. Toots approved, of course.

And it's terrible that it's dark, but look! Cousins!! So cute, even if you can't see the little devils!

Now listen... Yvette is all over these babies. She's an awesome big sister.

I usually wait until a sim has graduated from college before assigning a secondary aspiration but Yvette is screaming FAMILY SIM over here, neon lights and everything. So congratulations Yvette! Wheeeeee!

Robert got his turn at playing parent on his day off Saturday. Usually by the time he gets home from work, there's so many family members over or friends that walked in that the babies are claimed. But Saturday morning was his time to shine.

Then the girls re-claimed their territory...

With baby-duty off his hands, Rob took a look at the weeds growing outside. Then he called Zack over. Surely, Zack is old enough now to handle the hedge clippers all by himself! "Oh, yes sir! I'm a teenager now!" Sucka!

Aww... more family wholesomeness! A cozy family meal. I liked seeing so many of just the family at the table. It gave me warm and fuzzies.

Sunday rolled around and it was baby tossing time! So far, I am three-for-three in getting kids to their cakes. *cracks knuckles* Let's do this!

Don't you know... everyone kept getting their hands on the kids before Zamaris and Robert could get to them? Carrying them upstairs to the bathtub, to the fridge for feeding. TICK TOCK TICK TOCK! *Pulls hair* PUT DOWN THOSE BABIES!

FOUR-FOR-FOUR! Yeva is at the cake, Captain! I repeat, Yeva is at the cake!

Ughhh... but my perfect score is foiled by well-meaning relatives taking Yardley upstairs. With the crush of sims gathering around Yeva's cake, Robert just couldn't get Yardley through the crowd in time.

Baby is airborne, Commander. I repeat, baby is airborne.

But WAIT! The excitement isn't over! *TRUMPETS*

Agnesi gave us a pretty little pup. Meet Rigsby! The schnoodles have a back-up family line underway! Yay!

Before everyone tucked in for the night, I managed to get Yardley and Yeva cleaned up. I was disappointed to see that the blonde hair seems to be a trait tied in with the facial construction.

Yardley Panda is an Aquarius, his stats are 3 (messy) - 3 (shy) - 5 (active) - 10 (playful) and 7 (nice). He has daddy's custom blue eyes.

Yeva Panda, and I'm pronouncing her name (YAY-vah) I think for now, is a Capricorn. She's 7 (clean) - 3 (shy) - 2 (lazy) - 10 (playful) - 8 (nice). She's already flagged for tinkering. She is the only of Zamaris's kids to not have a custom eyecolor. Somehow, Amaris's Maxis-green eyes have struck again.

Yay for all the incoming noogies? Sigh. I could live without those.
