TS2 - Legacy Cove - Week 26 - 102 Bayview Drive

TS2 - Legacy Cove

Week 26

102 Bayview Drive

Welcome Simmers to the Wolosenko residence.  They are a relatively new house in the neighborhood;  Founded here by a 5th generation sim, Zakki.  For being a new house, they sure have done a lot in a short amount of time!  Let me re-acquaint you with the household.

They are a pretty small family and household so it should be a little interesting for me, seeing as how most of the houses are packed full of Sims and their pets.  Monday was a lot calmer here than at the last Panda house!  There were only two events of note, and one was Zakki's dad visiting and watching him check out the picture he painted of his wife, Toots (May she RIP!).

The second event was Rocco's first day of school!  I've been enjoying getting pictures of the kids getting off the bus on the first day.  I think Rocco had fun!

On Tuesday, Zakki's brother and his family came for a visit.  That would be Zavoy, Laken, Zaryn, and Zyler.   I got a pic of Rocco and Zyler hugging so I could compare their genetics.  I'm not sure anyone would know they were cousins, to be honest!

At least the rest of the family has that pink thing going on!  Very unintentional that both branches of the family ended up with so much pink.  Zavoy just happened to marry a pink princess like his sister.  I think Zavoy and Zyler are the only two NOT in pink.

Wednesday was a big day.  For one, I realized that the bots were all turned off.  So the hydrobot and sentrybot are now active.  It's not a good idea to have the sentrybot AND a garden gnome on the lot.  Aunt Zoey and Uncle Frazier were over to visit and Frazier just could not keep himself away from the gnome.  He'd get zapped, I'd teleport him back in, and he'd do it again.  After he was zapped and ran home for the 4th time, I just gave up!

Both bots have been working overtime.  It's not like there's THAT many flowers, though I did add some landscaping earlier in the week.  The hydrobot though is constantly going out to water a little bit, then go back to it's base.  The sentrybot just has it's hands full though.  Between the newspaper thieves, the gnome stealers, and the trashcan kickers.....

I don't even know why Daphne Day is walking to their back yard to kick over their trash can.  These Sims are complex creatures.

While we are looking at random teenage townies, Julian Smith walked by their house.  He was previously a child townie but I rotate aging the townies up to help replenish the dating pool and eventually eligible for marriage.  Julian used to be a nerd lil' guy back in the old Legacyville neighborhood.  Now he's a romancer that looks like like a little bit of trouble!

Where were we?  Oh yes, Wednesday!  All three Sims in the house had coordinating wants.  Obtain a pet/adopt a puppy!  So may I introduce to you Miss Lyric Wolosenko!

Lyric came from the litter born at Zakki's dad's house.  Lyric was the one that made Zack cry when I sent two of the three pups to the adoption pool.  I hope he's happy to see little Lyric again here at his daughter's house!!  I felt with her name being Lyric that she would be a great match as Isaac is into music & dance.  And he really took right to her!  He played with her for hours that first night!

The next morning Lyric had her first birthday, aging up to an adult dog.

When Rocco got home from school, he wanted to be friends with Lyric.  So I had him spend time teaching her the command "come here".  I'm not sure I've had a kid train a dog before, but it's pretty hilarious.

The picture was taken during a calmer moment, but watching Rocco get frustrated while Lyric was like "Oh! Butterfly!" made for a fun time.

A small interruption during the training session popped up to remind me that Rocco's birthday is in two days (Saturday!).  I'm so excited to see him as a teen!

And he did complete Lyric's first training.  Now to get her to quit chewing on furniture.  One thing at a time, I guess.

Then it's finally Friday!  The weekend is upon us.  And don't we just love the smell of fried Sims first thing in the morning.  Maybe my sister shouldn't try to steal Zakki's paper, HUH.

Friday is cousins day, with Zaryn and Zyler visiting.  I didn't get anymore pics of them during that.  But FINALLY a thunderstorm rolled through.  Has it really rained much this spring?  I remember lots and lots of snow.  Most of the other houses have lightning rods but here at the Wolosenko house we just let the trees burn.

Lyric barked at it.  She probably thinks that worked because the rain put the fire out moments later.  Thankfully everyone else was asleep and didn't run outside to scream and dance like lunatics.

Having new pups in the neighborhood has been a bit of a wake-up that I had the older dogs way too long.  Too much Kibble of Life.  These new pups are untrained and don't always behave well.  But darn if they aren't cute!  Just look at little Lyric!  Adorable!   She likes to play with the cleanbot when it comes out.  She'll follow it all through the house and back jumping around like a kangaroo.

For all the pictures I didn't take during the week, I made up for it during the kid playdate on Saturday.  I've been forgetting to get pics at most of the other houses so I let the kids all run wild and got some snapshots.

(Wendolyn & Rocco, cousins-once-removed)

(Yorwyck Panda & Ursa Centowski)

(Trace Centowski, Yorwyck, Ursa:  The tank top kids)

(Vincent Lind Jr, Lyric, Zyler Archer)

(So many gen 5 kids!)

(Vincent Jr/VJ & Shayla Panda)

(Shayla & Rocco)

(Wendolyn & Vera Lind)

Lyric enjoyed having all the kids to play with, and assigned herself as security patrol.  Do you feel like you are being watched, Cassie?  Possibly stalked?  Because Lyric is following you as you walk by!

Okay, Saturday is also Rocco's birthday!  Since all the kids were over, I just added in the three teenagers and left out the parents so the kids could play all night too.   Tomorrow is the big family dinner and I'll have them back a cake or something to 'celebrate' with the family then.

     Without further adieu....

(Yoren!  Calm down over there!)

That's right Rocco, shake it!  Shake it and spin!

He's a handsome guy.  I love his eyebrows and I think I'll change his hairstyle to show them off more.  Hopefully make his eyes look less squinty too!  Now it's time for the aspiration roll.  DRUMROLL PLEASE!

Another Fortune Sim, but I'm not hating it.  I'm just glad he didn't roll popularity since he's such a meanie with that one lonely nice point.  His Lifetime Aspiration is to become Head of the SCIA.  I haven't had one of those in this neighborhood yet!  This should be fun!

Since generation 5 is mostly brunettes, I selected that as one of his attractions.  He's also lit up for Fitness even though I haven't gotten the notification so I figure he'll probably like a girl with some body skill points.   And just say no to Servos, bud!

Are you ready to see the new and improved Rocco?  Ta-da!

Whew, what a day!  It's time to shoo out all of these visitors and get these Sims to bed.  One more big day tomorrow with the family, then spring will be over.  .... Well, hold on.  We don't have to send ALL the visitors over.  Go ahead and repair that sink, Zinc!!

Rocco didn't take off to bed right away when I told him to.  He discovered the exercise bike in his parents' bedroom.  I guess I should move that to one of the empty bedrooms.  I have a feeling Rocco is going to be addicted to it.   But hey, it finally made his OneTrueHobby official!

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!  We made it through the week, just one day left.  Of course Rocco woke up wanting to get into private school.  Fortune Sims are ambitious, so you know what, let's do it.  Let's invite the whole family over AND the Headmaster.

Rocco went to greet Headmaster Amin and chat a bit.  Actually, the hung out on the porch for a while.  Great way to schmooze if any of you are still playing TS2!  It worked well for Rocco at least.

Then Rocco gave a tour of the house as Zakki cooked up a turkey.  I also set out the buffet table so that the family wouldn't gobble up all of the homecooked meal and mess up our chances of getting Rocco into private school.

And he liked it!  Amin really liked it!  That or he's been lonely for the last couple of weeks between generations 4 and 5.  Rocco is officially the first of Gen 5 to be accepted to private school and that score is a doozy!

And that's a wrap, folks.  Spring is out and summer is in now at the Wolosenko house.  Let me get these Sims to bed and we'll head over to Xayden Centowski's house next.

Good night, thanks for reading, and happy Simming!
