     The end of summer is getting closer!  And with Xayden Centowski living solo, his summer blog should be a breeze.  After the heatwave with the Wolosenkos, a breeze sounds really great.  

     Let's get down to business, shall we?  (Xayden is a Fortune Sim and I've got jokes!)

Everything is deliciously low-key at Xayden's house.  I do get a bit distracted sometimes because between him sleeping and going to work, there's a lot of downtime.

So I try to make the time I have with Xayden more about quality than quantity.  He's like that with his dad (Xane), too.  Just a father and son passing a football in the backyard.  So nice.

TUESDAY

Xayden has a soft spot for his nieces.  It's understandable since their father is his twin.   

But I've thought a few times that they should do a paternity test because GIRLS?  In the Centowski family?  And where is the nose that's been around for generations!  Xyla actually might have the family nose but it's very understate on the girls. 

Ahh..  More football.  Xavian has decent form for someone who spends his free time playing a violin.

WEDNESDAY

On Monday and Tuesday I split up Xayden's immediate family.  Mom and dad visited first, then Tuesday his brother's little family came over.   

Wednesday though, his uncle Xavier's whole household was over.  Xayden doesn't mind, especially since he likes spending time with his cousin Uri's kids too!

THURSDAY

Thursday is Xayden's Friday.  A perfect time to adopt one of the pups from Laurel's litter of pups!  Three days at home to spend acclimating his new best friend.

Squeee!  He's here!  

I think it's love at first sight.

This game really did make the puppies adorable.

Just look at 'em!  I should play around with adding videos to this blog because watching the puppy jump around to play with the finger wiggle just melted my old stone heart.

He's a frisky little thing though!  He caught Xayden by surprise a few times!

Grumpy old uncle Xander was over with his household.  Cruz came from the litter born at his house.  

I think I see a smile!  

I'm sure Xander knows that Cruz ended up in a great home.  He's going to be spoiled rotten!

FRIDAY

It's potty training time.  I picked a spot in the yard that I want Cruz to go do his business and when his bladder got low I fenced him out there.

Cruz did not agree.  He did not want to pee behind the tree.

We waited.  And waited.

We waited so long that he grew up to an adult!  

I adjusted the fence a few times to try to encourage him to find a happy spot to pee.  

But it worked!  He finally peed exactly where I wanted him to and, spoiler alert, but thats the only place he goes to potty now!

He also babysat all of his nieces & nephews and the extended niblings on Friday.  He does fine with a houseful of kids and I'm proud of him.

Sometimes I think he would have made a good dad, but he makes an awesome uncle.  I'm good with that.  Xayden's never had a want to get married so I think he is too.

SATURDAY

Saturday, Xayden tried to teach Cruz a few commands.  They really make me laugh to watch this.  

Cruz also will start work on Monday in the Show Biz career.  We need to unlock some of the pet career rewards.  I know there are cheats, but I'll see how many I can get the old fashioned way first. 

Leroy!!  Where have you BEEN??  The Wolosenkos miss you, buddy!

He's a stray but used to come by Zakki and Isaac's house.  I wanted to have them adopt him but anytime the relationship got close he'd ghost 'em.

Well, anyway.  Saturday is GAME DAY!  I'm not sure what sport is on TV on Saturdays in the summer but I'm sure there's something sportsy going on.  

All of the sports hobbyists were invited, and this time I included the teens.  

I didn't realize before, but all our generation 5 sports fans are from the Panda family.  Interesting. 

I've been meaning to make "team jackets" in different colors.  I've procrastinated but with fall looming I better get busy with that.

Taking name suggestions for sports teams!  I've got a few written down, like the Legacy Llamas and Pleasantview Pixies.  I need a bunch more!

Maybe Gillentown Gophers? 😉

The day was going so well before this... 

And now it's not even raining anymore.  Good thing I didn't have Xayden through a Sports Party, because this would be a disaster.  Luckily I thought it might be nice to have all his sports buddies over for the full day.  The parties are just too short!

Everyone's all stinky now.  Even Cruz.

I hope he's using enough soap.

SUNDAY

The last day of summer for Xayden...  

Time to gather 'round the Centowski clan and have a little family reunion day!

I think they are about to square off on the basketball court.  Watch out!  Generation 5 verses the Gen 3 wives!

I know who my money is on.

Remember, Deb was downright gleeful when she saw Frazier getting zapped by a sentrybot recently.  She's savage.

Xayden has a good relationship with pretty much every member of the family, so I had him work with Cruz a little more.  

This dog is ready for his first day tomorrow as an Extra!  He's going to wow the producers, I just know it.

There was a traffic jam in the bathroom downstairs.  I usually keep Xayden's bedroom and en suite bathroom locked but desperate times call for extra toilets.

Xora was desperate indeed.

"What?  We're all family!"

Well... If y'all don't mind pooping around each other then I'll just pop a few temporary stalls in the garage.  

That's Morrdy's feet you see under there.  She wasted no time.  Desperate times, man.  Desperate times. 

Xayden didn't even cook!  We set up a buffet table!

A family gathering just isn't complete  until the older folk sit around a table gossiping.

Everything's cleaned up, the kids went home, and these ladies and gent are about to head home too.

     And that's a wrap for Xayden's summer!  Just one house left on the docket and they'll be joining the northern hemisphere for the fall season!

     Welcome to the Wolosenko home!  Residing in this cute house is Zakki, Isaac, and Rocco.  And last week they adopted a puppy from Zakki's brother.  Lyric the puppy is now an adult dog that loves to sit in the window.  Absolutely an inside dog!  Maybe that's because this week was an absolute scorcher.  

     Without further adieu, let me get started on our main characters for this post.

Well.  This should have given me a hint of how this week would go.  The Sims themselves were fairly drama-free (aside from all of the noogies that the 10-outgoing and 1-nice point Rocco was giving out left and right), but nature and robots battled it out for who could give me the biggest headache.  

Luckily when the SentryBot malfunctioned, it didn't manage to zap anyone before Zakki and Isaac got it turned off and repaired.

I don't know when I was so happy to rush everyone out the door to work and school.  A fire AND misfiring zapper running amok?  Run, save yourselves!

Zakki's brother Zavoy came over with his family that evening.  Rocco and his cousin Zaryn are pretty much BFFs.  Same age, both like fitness, and both mean lil' buggers.  Zaryn at least has 3 nice points.  It's still a noogie-fest when they are both together.  

The hydrobot also went rogue.

It's only Monday, y'all.

 

The teens also have to do chores, even though I left the bot repairs to the adults with higher mechanical skills.  

Usually I have a servo come over to do yardwork between visits from our beloved neighborhood gardener, Mr. Perry.  But I figured some labor would be good for Rocco.  And give me a break from doing relationship repairs from the noogies!

Oh, and Shayla Panda came by also.  She's making it very clear that she's interested in Rocco.

She's a little ahead of him though.  He is only committing to a crush.  Shayla though, like most teen girls, is ready for ROMANCE.  

Which makes me think... I better send everyone home now and put the household to bed before things get any hotter.

TUESDAY

Rocco came home from school Tuesday to Gretchen the maid still hard at work.  Because the hydrobot broke down AGAIN.

Its hours until Zakki gets home still, so Rocco had to learn to repair this one on his own.

Zakki's aunt Zoey came for dinner along with her family.  I forgot to turn off the sentrybot.  Frazier always goes for that damn gnome.  

But I dunno why Deb seems so satisfied seeing him zapped.  

Maybe he didn't tip last time he was at her diner?

While Deb was watching Frazier cook, Rocco was playing kicky bag on the side of the house with his distant cousins Winifred and Wendolyn.

Somehow he's the only one sunburnt.  They had some lemons that one of the neighbors gifted them so he put them in a juicer.  Mmm.  Lemonade.  Sunburn healed!

By dinnertime, he was no longer looking like a lobster.

Well, hey.  Rocco made the football team.

I guess all those hours working out are gonna be put to use.  He still comes home from school at 1pm.  The game should keep them an extra hour or two and make the kids super stinky.

Sentrybot is working as intended today.  

Xander!?  You have your own gnomes!  We aren't starting anymore gnome wars today, sir. 

Isaac invited Caden Chauncellor over, then they headed out to The Legacy to jam.  Both are into music & dance, and I feel they should just be best friends.

They haven't argued!

Renee also thinks they make beautiful music together!

Aargh!!!!!  Not this again!!!  

What a mess. 

These bots are ruining my lazy gaming.

Zakki and Isaac got the yard cleaned up and the hydrobot repaired.  Then had energy to spare before bedtime.

I intended for them to play some basketball to suck down their energy but lately kicky bag is the neighborhood obsession.  Whatever works.

Here's Lyric in the window.  She's a fairly independent dog and happy to be solo.  But her personality is friendly, not independent.

Rocco usually takes her for a walk when he comes home from school.

She should be watching out a front window though for the show.

Between the gnome and the sentrybot, I haven't had a single newspaper stolen all week!  

The meanies all come for the gnome.  And they all leave with wet pants but no gnome!

Normally, the cousins come over on Fridays.  But all of their relationships are top-notch, and Rocco has other plans.

He was waiting outside fresh from a nap when his cousin Zaryn pulled up in the limo.  

Go go go!

He's in!

Now we just hope Officers Miceli & Gonzaga are at the donut shop and not policing the town.

SATURDAY

It's 4am, do you know where your teenagers are at?

At home of course!  Scoot your tushie to bed, Rocco.  Your friends are arriving at noon to hang out!

Are you even kidding me??

We have company coming over.  There's no time for hydrobot messes!

I don't know who we are trying to impress though, if Yoren is going to show up like this.  

How long do you plan on walking around like this?  Go jump in the neighborhood pool!

Also, I'm thinking it would be awesome if Sims struck by lightning got a special skin with Lichtenberg Figures.

Geeeeez, I need to be worrying about my own house and not the neighbor kids.

Isaac and Zakki just in here making out.  Do you see those kids out the window there?  We don't need to give them ideas!

Saturday was the hottest day of the week.  The kids needed to come inside.  Half of them have sunburns and are about to fall over from heatstroke.

At least a few of them were smart enough to come inside.  

But girls, why are you in Rocco's bedroom!??  And wanting to take pictures? 

Little Vincent got the sunburn BAD.  Like after he left, I'd try to bring him back over to let him cool down so he's not stuck looking like this.

But he just kept leaving.

I'm concerned.  Luckily his uncle Yardley is a gardener and they have tons of produce in their juicer.  Lemonade!  Stat!

Unfortunately, the Wolosenkos are fresh out of lemons and lemonade.  

Just sit down for a bit, Rocco.  You gotta live!  This is a one-and-done household.  

I guess if the worst should happen, Zakki could let her niece Zaryn be her heir.  But we don't want that!

Boy, how are you going to get a sunburn in the DARK?????

This is out of control!

I finally got Little Vincent to stick around by calling him into the house as soon as I teleported him onto the lot.  

Flirting with Xyla though is not going to help him cool down!

Finally the night was over and almost everyone went home.

Xora, why don't you ever want to go home?  I thought she was a sweet little violin-playing kid, but as a teen she strikes me as one of those kids that expedites gray hair on their parents.

And I think she's being a bad influence on Vera!

It's family day!  

Classic Sims here.  And there's Frazier with a sunburn.  Sheesh.  

PS - I turned off the sentrybot so he doesn't get zapped.  The gnome is positioned so it can't be stolen so it's safe.  But the sentrybot reads your soul.  

(Silent seething)

NO, I DO NOT WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT.

Rocco wanted to earn $100.  Sure he could get a job but he didn't ask to do that.  

I meant to have him do this yesterday actually with his friends.  

His family are probably better tippers anyway.  Freestyle away, Rocco!

Either he's not bad or his family is just super supportive.  They all cheered him on and he ended up with more than $100!

Maybe he's got a little of his dad's music and dance talent?

Meanwhile... 

Isaac was burning the pork chops for dinner.  

They'd probably stop burning if you turned off the gas.

Geez.  We're going to need another serving anyway, I'll bring in Zakki to make the next batch.  Her cooking skill is higher.

I don't have words.  Y'all enjoy your burnt pork chops.  

I do find it interesting though that Isaac made his on the stove and Zakki used the oven.  

Someone open a window in here!

Ahh.. the Archers.  They are a pretty close family with no care for personal space.  You can't really see Zyler because Walter and Julie are standing over him to tell a joke.

At least no one complained about burnt pork chops.  I'm guessing it's a "been there, done that" and they understand.

Y'all can't cook for shit.

Do you know how nervous this cleanbot made me?  

I was holding my breath.  Thankfully he parked himself back on his pad with no issue.  

Good bot.  Gooooood bot.

Oh, good.  We're playing kicky bag in the kitchen now.

You break it, you buy it.  And I can make that happen!

You may notice two members of the Archer clan missing from most of the group photos.

Zavoy and his wife Laken are OBSESSED with each other.  

My apologies for any Twinks that hoped they would marry the neighborhood prince, but these two were destined to be together.

I managed to pull Laken away so others could do some top-ups on their relationship scores.

But here comes Zavoy looking for his wifey.

Haha.  The romancer strut is hilarious.  Okay okay, Zavoy.  She's yours.  Take your wife on home.   

Our week is over.

Do you smell the fall leaves?  The crisp air will be a relief.  Two more houses to go and then it'll be fall y'all!   

I totally forgot to do backyard pictures for this house but its only a week or so ago that they were in an update since their house is relatively new.
