It's a beautiful fall week at the head Centowski house! We've got a wild rollercoaster of emotions, some irrational decisions, hard goodbyes, warm hellos, and just so much more going on. Normally this house is fairly tame. And I suppose it is again this week. None of the excitement or drama is really the fault of the Sims living here.

Starting out the week on a sad note. Wealthier but if you didn't pay attention to the household roster above, well, we don't have any Fortune Sims here.

So it may be a happy memory but neither really cared for the money.

Xane inherited from both Yvette & Yung, while Deb was only close to Yvette.

As the household starts waking up and I'm trying to get everyone off to work and school, take their "selfies", and make sure the adults drink a swig of elixir I don't really have time to deal with newspaper thieves. ZAKKI.

Next time your granddad's ghost makes you piss yourself, tell him thanks for the sentry bot!

Meanwhile, this week we've got our own ghost problems here.

Zayna at least targeted the Knowledge Sim. But ma'am, please! Your great-granddaughter is trying to work on her charisma skill for college!

Even in their sleep, we've got drama.

Hun is really just the best mailman. I swear he's a dog whisperer.

Someday I'm sure he'll find a nice Sim to marry and I'll miss him walking his route every morning. They better love dogs.

Because Hun has all the neighborhood dogs spoiled! Pets for everyone!

Xora even follows him down their sidewalk and if you look close you can see Flopsy watching him until he's out of sight.

That's puppy love, folks.

Deb headed over to the diner while most everyone was out of the house at work or school. Xane had the day off but he insists on taking a morning jog every day and Deb left him napping on the couch.

The waitresses are really getting good at their jobs and frequently get extra tips.

Julie even snuck into the kitchen (EMPLOYEE'S ONLY MA'AM PER THE HEALTHCODE!!) to tip Violet.

Violet has been a mean girl both in Legacyville and here in Legacy Cove as well. But when working, she's just a delight. I almost like her.

It's a busy day, even post-lunch!

Oh no, wait. OH CRAP!

Y'all, you probably don't remember Blajez Nott.

He's here to review the business for the local paper. The only place he consistently loves is Zoey's gym.

I have a bad feeling.

Yup. There were too many people waiting to be seated ahead of him and he is not pleased.

Deb takes it with grace. But hurry up with the lecture Mr. Nott! We've got a dining room full of people who were actually patient enough to be seated!

Ahem.

Luckily Mr. Nott was already gone when Priscilla dumped Shawn's dinner on his shoulder.

He's mad. Justifiably. But we're gonna get ya fixed up, Shawn! Deep breaths buddy!

My nephew Chase even came in while his sister Kylie was on shift.

Not sure she should be his waiter but nah, I'm sure she'll be professional. Deb's Diner expects nothing less!

She takes his order with a flourish and is nothing but superb.

Kylie's one of the newer waitresses but she's gained the skills needed quickly. I've been impressed with my cute lil niece!

Chase agrees that she did a great job and turns out he's a big tipper too!

All this sibling love (even if their Sims aren't connected as siblings) is giving me warm and fuzzies.

Now my other nephew, Lucian, is here.

He did not leave a tip.

I'm sending this blog to Kylie so she can beat him up or something.

Whew! What a day! Time to send Deb back home. She's got dinner to cook at her own house still!

And what a fancy feast she'll be whipping up to celebrate Xane's retirement!

His nephew's wife has taken over as Education Minister and Xane's used up all of his sick days.

Not quite sure what he's going to do all day but tomorrow I'll point him towards all the leaves outside waiting to be raked!

It was his day off, he retired, and still some how got his pension on the same day. Guess he retired at the right time!

Xyla has had a locked want to get fit. Not that she was fat. She was in that mid-zone.

Monday she spent some time on the treadmill and today she it upon herself to use the exercise bike.

She is striking me as one of those over-achiever types. Slay, girl!

I have GOT to remember to buy Xavian a car to use to go to work. The helicopter is a bit obnoxious for someone that only works a few streets over at City Hall.

OH, MY LAWLS!!

Zayna put her in her place though.

Let me just tell everyone to go home so Zayna goes back to her dang urn.

I'm going to have to go do some research but I'm starting to think the ghosts are more active in the fall than the other seasons.

Grim, why are you doing this to me! We have enough ghosts at the moment. Don't take our Linden!

Oh, my goofy boy.

I'm so sorry that I didn't notice your lifespan was full. I am so not prepared!

Linden was Morrdy's dog. She got her from Xavier & Lindsay's first litter, way back when Morrdy first married Xavian and moved into the house.

He's been such a good boy. And Morrdy didn't even get to say goodbye this morning when she went to work. Because I wasn't paying attention. UGH!

Ironically, this solves a problem for me.

They all want a puppy. There's room for ONE more body on this lot. There's two puppies in the adoption pool.

Checkers, from Xander & Cassie's litter. Another dalmation which is what the Centowski "family dog breed" is evolving to be.

And Chang. A schnoodle from Vama's litter. One that should be able to breed eventually with Dora.

This house specifically was the brown schnoodle household originally. Don't know if anyone pays attention but the different families have breed different coat colors, even though they all intermix at some point.

I can definitely see them needing two puppies to heal this heartache.

Trivia tidbit;
I didn't select the breed for the Centowskis. Lindsay (Xavier's wife) adopted a random puppy from the adoption pool and that's what we got! Luna was the first dalmation in Legacy Cove.

Meanwhile, at school...

Xavian, Morrdredd, Xyla, and Xora have no idea the grief waiting for them at home.

I really should just ignore this chance card.

But I don't!

Xyla's main hobby is science, not fitness. So rest that ankle, girlie.

And great, she gets more reason to obsess over being fit.

Xora immediately is enamored. I suspect that Checkers will end up being hers, but the week is young.

She just can't get enough of the little guy though!

I'm about to rip out all of their plumbing and install new everything. They've broken showers, bathtubs, sinks...

If Xerva shorts out and goes berserk, I will not be wearing my happy face.

I enjoyed Thanksgiving with the Pandas so I think that might be the trend this week. Hope you all like turkey!

I went with the buffet table again and set up a temporary table in the living room so everyone had a place to sit.

I haven't said it yet this week, but Xayden is an awesome uncle. He's sitting at the "kid's table" with Xora

Xander prefers hanging out with the kids, too.

And I swear, if this game had social media, Xyla would be all about it. She absolutely loves to primp and check herself out in any mirror. And if the camera is turned her way, she's cheesing.

Our baby is growing up!

Fun fact: Checkers has two litter mates. Xander & Cassie's household kept the girl, Chessa. Xayden adopted the other boy, Cruz.

Oh, Xora's teacher is never going to believe this.

Dora ate Xora's homework.

(I didn't intentionally make their names similar. Dora was named for her sire Teddy. "Teddy -> Theodore -> Theodora -> Dora" was my thought process. It was two Sim-weeks before I realized what I'd done. D'oh!)

Well, anyhoo...

It's cousin day but since Xora's relationship with all of her extended cousins is looking pretty good, she has a want to pop.

She wants a kiss!

Xora had a crush on both Quentin here and Vera. I went back and forth on which one to bring over.

Finally, I sorted her relationships by attraction and Quentin won. It seemed the most logical way to pick.

Ah, but romance is never logical.

Oh, it's so cute that I just can't stand it!

They might be a good match. Only two bolts, but they are both music & dance hobbyists.

Xora has a violin like her dad, while Quentin just got a piano for his birthday.

Sounds like they could make beautiful music together!

(HAHA I got jokes!)

Like I was saying, romance isn't logical. It's quite fickle and prone to puppy love.

(Haha! I've got so many jokes!)

Xane is more about the mature, adult relationships though. He's taken a lot of interest in Checkers, including teaching him a command or two.

The weekend has arrived! And Deb is back to work at the diner.

My family loves the diner. Somehow my dad and myself managed to be seated together. Hi Dad! Ready for the snow forecasted?

(Spoiler alert; It didn't snow here, only rain rain rain)

Okay, okay. Meanwhile.. Back at the ranch...

It's Saturday so the house is full of teens! I'm all about using that buffet table to feed these bottomless pits.

Plus, they have a lot of fresh produce in the fridge and it fills everyone up too much. The kids have been getting fat!

You'd think the fresh produce (courtesy by the way of Cassie, Xavier, and Lindsay) would not contribute to their weight gain.

But they don't stop eating when they are full and the fresh foods boost the hunger mod too high.

Most of the produce goes to the juicer but there's always more.

Happy first birthday, Chang!

I'm really delighted to see his coat has both brown and gray in it. Looks similar to his mama Ying.

Sunday kind of went to the dogs.

Anything I thought of having them work on, they were playing with the pups.

So why not? A quiet Sunday at home building up their relationships with their fur buddies.

Even Xavian who is usually not a pet kind of guy was into it.

Then Henry the wolf came up growling. It's okay, Morrdy was there. She scared away the big bad wolf.

Someone had to before there was a fight!

I also realized Xavian was the only one that hadn't pulled some yard duty this week. Our violin-playing Mayor is not so delicate that he can't rake a few leaves. Get to work!

I was nervous about today.

And I'ma tell you why.

Deb is 76 days old and her lifebar is looking pretty full.

I had everyone gather around to give her some hugs just in case.

Son of a...

There he is. Oh, Deb!

At least she's not in a bathroom.

I really jinxed Deb, and I'm sorry. At the end of the last update, I said Deb had no intention of slowing down.

I guess she didn't, but sometimes Grim takes matters into his own bony hands.

That's right, sassy right to the end! I love the eyebrow!

Why that sneaky Grim. He thinks of everything. Already packed her a suitcase.

Farewell, Deb. Paint the Grim Isles pink and get a few drinks ready. I don't think Xane is too far behind you.

Mrs Deb O'Simski Centowski, 76 days old. Originally from Twinkie Town, she passed at her home in Legacy Cove. Deb leaves behind her husband Xane Centowski, sons Xavian (Morrdredd) and Xayden, and granddaughters Xyla & Xora.

Special mention to her dog Flopsy who she adored from the first time she laid eyes on her.

Deb also leaves behind a whole host of friends and in-laws that loved her. She was the owner of Deb's Diner and her employees also grieve her passing.

This is going to be a hard hit to Legacy Cove.

Morrdredd's talking about shoes she needs to get for the funeral, but Xavian is crying because that's the last plate of his mom's spaghetti he'll ever eat.
