Progress Report

     I started off pretty good Saturday.  I woke up, made a skull double-wrap bracelet (which I've made before and you can see it here).  It's a pretty awesome bracelet and I was careful this time to better account for the size of the beads so it isn't too snug for the average wrist.  Later I made two more skull bracelets on the memory wire, aka the spiral bracelets.  And I made a ton of easy necklaces with just charms on chain to sell for $5 a pop at this weekend's Fall Fest.  

     So Saturday was looking pretty good.  I ran out of a few materials though and half of them I get from Hobby Lobby.... and so Sunday I fell off the productivity wagon.  FOILED AGAIN!  But I got everything restocked today (and of course a few other things also because that's what happens when you walk into Hobby Lobby).  There will be a purple and black bracelet joining the other two.  And I have one more of the charms...I'm trying to decide on a color.  Orange?  Red?  Green?  Probably not green.

     I think I should mention also that because my crutches absolutely wear me out, I've been using the wheelchairs provided by stores to get around.  My mom seems to like pushing me around in the wheel chairs through Hobby Lobby.  My dad took me to Michael's craft store on Sunday night and I'm gonna say... he's a better driver at those things than my mom.  Not that my mom has damaged me yet but I am much more aware of what's near my foot when she's wheeling me around.  The ones at Walmart are motorized and part of me is like "This is so awful that I'm cruising around Wally World in this thing" and the other half of me is going "THIS is the way to shop!!"  Don't knock it until you've tried it, folks!  

     Monday has also been a fairly unproductive day.  Mostly because I just felt like I was dragging after I got up, then by the time I had myself caffeinated and ready to roll, my mom asked if I still needed to hit up the local craft stores.  Yes... yes I did.  So to AC Moore and Hobby Lobby we went.  Now it's almost 10pm and I have a third of a wrap bracelet completed.  FAIL!

     I'll see what I can get done tonight while I watch some episodes of House on Netflix then tomorrow is a new day, right?
