TS2 - Legacy Cove - Week 23 - 102 Bayview Drive

TS2 - Legacy Cove - Week 23

102 Bayview Drive

It's Week 23 in Legacy Cove but only just starting the 2nd week of Zakki & Isaac's household.  It's kind of crazy that in 23 weeks we're on the cusp of Generation 5 beginning.  I was kind of hoping that at least one of them would want to have a baby and give me the green light... but... Well, I'm getting ahead of myself here.  Let's meet the happy couple again!

Zakki (Archer) Wolosenko
Fortune - Sagittarius - Sports fan
3-4-9-8-1

Isaac Wolosenko
Popularity - Aries - Music & Dance
7-9-9-3-2

They really are a happy couple, by the way!  They seek each other out constantly, and only have 2-bolts.  They both like pink.  Both of their names are five letters with the 3rd & 4th being double-letters (zaKKi & isAAc).  They still have some odd couple quirks.  Zakki's not the neatest, but Isaac keeps cleaning up after her.  He doesn't seem to mind, which is more than I can say for my personal, real-life household!

On with our week!  They started the week with not even $5k simoleans but for just starting out, I feel they are doing just fantastic.  They quickly started running their savings up higher with some promotions!

I mean, in my humble opinion Zakki, you are all set to start on baking Gen 5.  Don't let me rush you though... I just put off the babies until the younger gen 4 was about out of uni so the age gaps weren't so wide.  With Generation 5, the inter-family marriages will start.  I'll maybe do a post about this on it's own before starting Week 24's updates.

Monday also brought a thoughtful wedding-related gift from Zakki's dad, Zack.

I won't post the multitude of pictures but trust any Sim that stepped onto the lot thought about stealing it.  It must be a highly prized gnome, whoda thought?

The Archer family seems to be fairly clear of the germs going around the neighborhood.  So through the week I invited over other couples in the family to test the grounds before running into any problems at the Sunday family dinner.

Zakki and her cousin Walter were best friends growing up, so I'm just delighted to see their spouses also befriending each other and getting along!  And no chances of Jerry Springer shows here.  Isaac and Zakki don't leave each other alone enough to think about it.

Wednesday, Isaac had the day off and spent his time with his other love;  His guitar.  He reached a personal high with that and still had time to work on a needed charisma point for his next promotion!

Then, I fumbled.  I forgot about the pandemic in the game and let Isaac and Zakki go to Toots' bar.  And they took Zavoy and Laken with them.  I was blissfully forgetful that infection is a cough away.

It had turned into quite the little family reunion with Aunt Zoey joining Zakki at the pool table.  It was about this time that another townie also joined in the game and I started remembering... GERMS!  NO!

Luckily I regained my senses and sent them home, just as one of the Centowski clan showed up.  Possibly infected.  I shoved Zakki and Isaac in the car and they drove off leaving Zavoy and Laken behind.  .... I'm sure they'll get a ride back home with Toots.

     Household Infection Status:  Negative.

     Whew.

Of course, the next day Zakki brought a coworker home.  Yardley apparently works at Cove General Hospital with her.  Again, luckily, we just left Yardley's house on the last update and I know I left him and his wife Kayla on a negative status as well.

     Whew.

I tried to have them do a date night at home, where I learned they have more matching couple traits such as both of them like to whoo-hoo in the car repeatedly.  That was going well until the gnome brought more drama.

The rain put the fire out, which is a blessing because neither Isaac or Zakki would stop panic-dancing long enough to break out an extinguisher.  Let alone think about turning their back to the fiery gnome to call our fireman Lee Gast.

That pretty much ended date night though.  Showers and bedtime, ya'll got work in the morning.  The next morning also brought a nice little surprise in the mail!

In the back of my head, I think I recall this happening before but it's been a long time.  I absolutely still play this game because it still surprises me.

What wasn't a surprise was Isaac coming home to announce another promotion!  He's been working hard on that charisma skill!   This has been a great career for him since the music passion has already maxed his creativity.  Way to go, Isaac!

Then Saturday, he did it again!  These two are financially ready for a baby and I've been quietly... gently... trying to push them towards the decision on their own.  Do Fortune and Pop sims ever WANT a baby?  I should maybe do some research on that.  I'm pretty sure future Grandpap Zack has a want for a grandkid and he's a romancer.  I'll have to double-check that though too.

We ended the week with the Sunday family dinner.  I can't believe the two pink sisters-in-law weren't BFFs before this!!

Isaac cooked up pork chops and I had to nudge Zakki to remember to do the clean up afterwards.  These Sims!  Just like children and boyfriends!  😉

And that's all, folks!  To sum it all up, no babies, but we do have a gnome!  I guess if all else fails, we'll do some landscaping next week since their yard is pretty bare.

Thanks for reading and happy Simming!

Carissa
