TS2 - Legacy Cove - Week 23
3 Bamboo Blvd
It's summertime with Yardley and Kayla Panda! Shawn is away at university still so maybe it will be a nice, lazy summer for the Generation 3 inhabitants and their pups. Let's get the refresher started on our residents.
Fortune - Aquarius - Nature nut
3-3-5-10-7
Well, we start out with some inheritance from Aunt Zayna. That of course helps soothe our Fortune sim Yardley's emotions. Kayla though never really seems to have a lot of strong emotions.
The neighborhood is still suffering from their own pandemic. The Panda family has not been as infected as the Centowski clan. Also, luckily for Yardley and Kayla, they have secondary aspirations in family. I know Shawn is sick, so we start out inviting him over while Yardley is away at work and Kayla is working on her art, so there's no socializing except with Yang. Then I set out the soup....
Shawn took the bait! We have one more healthy Sim in Legacy Cove!! I was going to have Kayla stock up on some more soup, but then I decided maybe we'll leave the cooking to Yardley.....
The rest of the week was low-energy. Kayla and Yardley did some updates to the house before Shawn graduates and returns home, starting with a new art studio for Kayla. I thought about building it over the garage but they currently have empty rooms upstairs. Using what we have already sounded simpler.
It still needs a few more touches but we'll add them as we go. This feels like a nice starting point. No more making messy pottery in the family room or drippy paint in the bedroom!
Yardley, our household outdoorsman, set up a chicken coop (I'm pretty sure I downloaded this from MTS2, the chickies don't run around but it still helps complete his farmboy wannabe vibe).
And lastly, just a small addition. Yardley keeps bringing bugs home so I figured it was time to display his captures. Poor butterflies.
Well, I hope they enjoyed their slow, easy week! Next week Shawn will be back home and I'm pretty sure being a family sim he'll be ready to settle down and start his own brood sooner than later!
Thanks for reading!
Carissa
