TS2 - Legacy Cove - Week 25

Its wintertime at our second Lind residence. This one is home to Fletcher and his wife Yamaris, and their oldest child Vincent. Last week, Vincent married Ceera and you can guess what this week will bring! So off we go, and of course starting with reviewing our residents.

So the dogs steal the show on Monday. As you see above, puppy Flint grew up and he's a handsome lil guy! He got a good mix of physical characteristics from Peach and Fenway (his parents). Can't wait to see what the other two pups grow up to look like too!
And Ying's picture was taken as she leaves the lot. Ying was originally Vama's dog before she left for college, so now that Vamaris has graduated and will be building a house next door, I thought it was only right that Ying go back to live with her.
On Tuesday, Fletcher brought home a friend from work. This normally wouldn't be notable, but the friend is Prof. Sheila Huffman. I guess times are hard and she has to work at the university and in the hospital where Fletcher works.
Wednesday is when things get more exciting. A birthday to start the day; Princess Peach is now an elder!
Even more exciting, Ceera came home from work and realized she was knocked up!
Vincent is totally supportive and makes sure she's taken care of. He just .. hasn't spun up a baby want. What kind of Family Sim is he? Ceera at least wants the baby. And we've had plenty of households with no Family Sims that all stepped up when presented with the nooboo.
Then Thursday, at 4:17pm we get our 2nd baby bump. Ceera sure does spent a lot of her pregnant time in the dining room. I guess it's appropriate since she's eating for two.
On Friday, first things first, Yamaris has retired from her career as a Criminal Mastermind. She agrees her bones are a bit achy considering the physical aspects of the job, but as a Fortune Sim she's just not ready to look me in the eye yet.
(She really did keep her eyes squinted shut until the golden watch over her head disappeared. Like she KNEW I was trying to take a picture. Totally sus.)
But the real excitement came afterwards.

If Ceera was aware of anything going on besides her own personal situation, I think her good relationship with Yamaris would be over and she'd wring her neck.
And THIS TIME, I am totally prepared with a boy name and a girl name. I'm ready for this baby! Some out with it, Ceera! Boy or girl!?
Oh, shit.
I did not come prepared with TWO boy names and TWO girl names so let me stand over here with Yamaris and freak out a bit. AHHHHHHHHHH!!! WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME?
I swear, it's a good thing she's excited about this kid.... sorry, kids... or Ceera would wring ALL of our necks when she's done spinning out these babies.
Oh! Here's our first twin!!!
It's a boy! Vincent Jr, to be known as Veejay or V.J. I'll decide how to spell it as he grows. But he's got Daddy Vincent's skin tone and Momma Ceera's eyes! I'm screaming! I'm so excited!

Oh, what a relief! This one is a girl!! May I please introduce Vera Lind! Born at 5:59pm. She's got Momma's skin tone and her eye color. Both babies have brown hair like their parents do.
Yamaris finally warmed up to her grandchildren and Vama wasn't at all shy to jump in and help out.
Just the sweetest little things! I don't know if Sim nooboos can be happy, but they are definitely happy little babies.
The next morning we had another pup birthday. Fenway joined Peach in the elder stretch.
And Kate got to meet Flint as she passed by. Don't ya'll love her coat? I adore it.
And I didn't think Vincent could be any cuter. Until I saw him playing with his babies. Ugh, my heart melts.
And we get bonus birthdays this week! Since the twins were born before 6pm, we'll get to see them as toddlers in this update!
Oh heck, let's just jump ahead 24 hours! PARTY TIME! Vincent has V.J. and Ceera has Vera. (If you didn't notice, both parents got a namesake. Vera just has one 'E' instead of two like Ceera.) I got concerned that they weren't going to have a room big enough for both of their families, but they all managed to squeeze into the living room.
Little V.J. already has style! He's quite dapper in his little suit.
And Vera ... let me get her hair and clothes changed before I worry too much. But it seems she's inherited Ceera's thin lips. I think it's all features that she'll grow into. Maybe when she's an adult she'll remind me of Jennifer Grey like Ceera's Sim does in some angles!
Whew. So here's our two lil toddlers all cleaned up. Let's do a real introduction here.
Mr Vincent Lind Jr is Pisces. His stats are 5 neat - 6 outgoing - 5 active - 4 serious - 9 nice. He looks so much like his dad, just with Ceera's eye color! I'll forgive him for being uncooperative with the picture, he refused to turn towards the light. Both babies otherwise have been extremely well behaved!
And Miss Vera Lind is a Sagittarius. I'm always fond of my Sims with this sign! Her stats are 5 neat - 2 shy - 10 active - 10 playful - 7 nice. I think she'll follow in one of her parents' footsteps in regards to her hobby. Vincent is fitness and Ceera is sports.
Neither one of them are showing their hobby yet, but I'll have it figured out next week.
Because now winter is turning into spring and it's time to say goodnight to the Linds. We might see another baby born here next week as THREE of the adults are asking for a kid/grandkid again! Please stay tuned and we'll see how that works out next week.
