TS2 - Legacy Cove - Week 25 - 1002 Centowski Street

 TS2 - Legacy Cove - Week 25

1002 Centowski Street

You know what this town needs?  More babies.  I hate myself for typing that, by the way.  Currently Generation 5's population is at 10 kids.  Six girls, four boys.  And welcome to the second Centowski home on our rotation.  With another Gen 4 Family Sim.   Let me just hop into the roll call.

I'm just going to cut right to the chase.  Uri has been back from University for a week now.  His girlfriend Renee just graduated.  Uri has locked wants to marry Renee and to have a baby.  His lifetime want is to "Graduate 3 Children from College".  We need to get things moving because Generation 4 is going to be cut off from having more babies soon.  I'll dump some birth control into their water supply and FINIT.  I'm a very scheduled and organized Overlord.

So Monday .... wedding day.  We begin with the proposal.

Of course, she said "yes".  Did anyone think she wouldn't?  This Overlord runs a very tight ship.

This is a short engagement though.  The Centowskis were immediately gathered and whisked off to the chapel.  It's wintertime, so no backyard wedding.

(Marrying a Rich Sim!)

(Treva, Uncle Xane, Uncle Xander)
(back: Xayden, Lindsay, Soupy)

(Xavier, Deb, Morrdredd)
(back:  Cassie, Xavian)

What a beautiful bride!  What a dashing groom!

I thought about having them try for a baby there in the photo booth during the reception.  I decided against it finally.  Gotta keep things classy under the disco lights.

(Morrdredd Centowski)

(Xander smiled!!)

Okay, party over.  Everyone doesn't have to go home, but you can't stay here.  Shoo!

On top of the baby time crunch, Lotus is getting on in age and I want puppies from her.  So Renee's wedding gift is to go pick out a mate.  Don't worry, the puppies won't be until next week!

     Meet Lachlan!

And officially meet Renee (Spitzig) Centowski.  She's a Family Sim and she wants to replace Uri's Uncle Xane as Education Minister.  She already had a job in the Education career track.  I cheated a bit there, when I put her on the make-over lot after graduating Uni, I had her check the job openings.  Too many of these graduates are going way too long before finding their preferred careers!

Renee is also an Aquarius like her new mother-in-law and her stats are 4 messy - 4 shy - 4 lazy - 7 playful - 6 nice.  She's a nature lover like the rest of the household.  That's right, all four of them are nature nuts.

First things first, I had her start building her relationship with Lachlan so no one else would sneak in and get the 'master' tag.

And she didn't get knocked up right away.  It took almost 24 hours.  You'd think Family Sims would be way more fertile.  But we got our official confirmation just after the calendar turned from Tuesday to Wednesday.

Lachlan already doesn't want to leave her side.  Renee is a really sleepy pregnant Sim, by the way.

Wednesday also brought a hefty check from the Smart Investing!  Helps that both Xavier and Lindsay are Fortune Sims.  At this rate, their bank account is going to be over $200k before the end of the week!

Thursday at 1:07am, we have our second baby bump!  And I make a note to keep her out of the bathroom after 2am tomorrow.  This is a tight space to get a pic in!

Friday though brought Grim to our yard.  It's time to say goodbye to Luna.  Our founding Dalmation!  She won't be forgotten!  Lindsay was at work (Luna was her dog) but Xavier and Uri spent a lot of time rubbing her belly and feeding her treats before Grim arrived.

The day was bittersweet;  We have both tears and joy!  Baby Centowski arrived at 2:32am on Friday morning!

(You think Treva knows she's next?)

(SERIOUSLY, Uri???)

We have our 7th girl for Generation 5.  Welcome baby Ursa Centowski.  Since they are a house full of Nature Sims, I felt it appropriate to name her "Little She-Bear".  Brown hair like the other 6 girls have, but she has daddy's (and Grandma Lindsay's!) eye color!  She's a cutie so far!

Momma had a long nap prior to Ursa's birth, so she took the first shift with some overlap from Xavier.  He's usually up late which I figure will come in handy the next few days!  Uri took the early morning shift along with Grandma Lindsay.

And on Saturday, confirmation was given that we'll get to see little Ursa as a toddler!  (It's killing me that Rocco Wolosenko is not aging to a toddler until Monday of this current week.  I'm so curious as to what features he'll have from Zakki and Isaac!)

Then.... Sunday arrived.  Lindsay and Uri were due to work.  Lindsay being a Fortune Sim and Uri having missed a few days already this week... I let them go on to work.  Xavier and Renee got the birthday party started.

Xayden and Xyla are just the cutest uncle and niece so far.  They gravitate towards each other anytime they are both on the same lot.  I love it!

Everything was moving along nicely.  Until 5pm when Uri & Lindsay returned home from work.

She couldn't even look me in the eye!  This is a disaster.  She's currently in the garage as she drives herself to work.  Renee is already taking baby Ursa to the cake... What the heck am I going to do...

     Deep breaths, deep breaths.

I tell Lindsay to sit her little flu-infected tush in her car and stay there.  Listen to some music or something.  STAY THERE.

Now, I've got to rush back to the kitchen for the birthday spinning.

Look at that adorable HEALTHY baby girl.  Aww.  But everyone was so slow to get in the kitchen and moreso spent too much time shuffling, so no traditional birthday celebration pics.  Just fizzled candles and a toss.

The party is by my standards a disaster.  Lindsay didn't stay put.  I TOLD HER TO STAY IN THE CAR.  I turn around and there she is in the kitchen smiling away.   I made noises that can't be defined.  I lock her in the bedroom.  When the kitchen clears out, I send her to make some orange juice.  Sims kept returning to the kitchen while she made the juice and drank it.  I forgot orange juice doesn't cure the flu.  Just colds.

Why didn't I think to just move the juicer to the bedroom?  That actually didn't occur to me until just now.  After locking Lindsay back in her bedroom (she and Xavier follow each other like ducks, so I had to lock it for ALL sims), I left her there to relax on the bed.

I had to have someone make Ursa some smart milk, get her some new clothes, some nicer hair, and so Lindsay just had to be banished for a bit.

Meanwhile, why didn't I just send everyone home?  I don't even know.  But the guests had a great time, even if it was personally to me a disaster.

Soupy has some real moves.  Just don't trip over the dog please.

Okay, Ursa is ready to be presented to the public!  Drumroll please!

I definitely see a lot of Lindsay in that face, especially nose up!  But she's a cutie!  Ursa is an Aquarius like her mom and grandmother.  Her stats are 2 messy - 4 shy - 4 lazy - 7 playful - 9 nice.

At this point, I've remembered the soup the Family Sims can make.  Renee was kind enough to whip some up and I put a bowl in Lindsay's bedroom.  So the household is healthy.  I have no idea about the other Sims on the lot yet.

Pray for the Sims of Legacy Cove please.  Fight the germs!!  Luckily there's not many Popularity Sims to be affected if I have to quarantine each household again!

Good NIGHT and happy Simming!

Carissa
