INTERMISSION!

     It's been a few months since I've updated this blog, but luckily the last update was the end of Week 25.  As we're poised to enter Week 26, there's no time like the present to do a few updates on what's new in Legacy Cove.  

     First, we'll have some new faces!  A couple of my real-life family members weren't already in-game and have been added.  Let me introduce them to you.

     Melissa is my youngest sister in real life.  Our middle sister Teressa Bowcrafter is already in-game and fights with my sim-self frequently, as well as the rest of the town!  There's not a single Sim she won't poke her finger at.  Hopefully Melissa's sim will vibe more peacefully with the other Sims!  My nephews Chase Bearhunter and Lucian John along with niece Kylie Tumbler are already roaming around as townies as well.  I'm planning on moving Kylie up to teen and you should be seeing her visiting the Gen 5 spare in Week 26's updates!

     And how could I forget that my dad is also already in the game?  Oh, he's a flirt in real life and his Sim loves the ladies as well!  He's putting some moves on Jen Tucker, and I think she likes it!

     Let's hope Legacy Cove gives Daphne, Melissa, Trenten, and Brody a warm welcome to the neighborhood!!

INTERMISSION PART II

     In an effort to keep the neighborhood's population from growing as fast as it has, Gen 5 will be "in-breeding".  Technically, as far as real life is concerned, they would all still be considered cousins but legally able to marry in most States.  I still feel a little weirded out so I keep a few generations as a buffer.  So the Gen 5 kids will be divided into 3 Houses and can not pick a mate from the same House.  There's also a sub-House, but one thing at a time here!

THE LIND EXCEPTION:  

Now, the complication is the Lind families.  They are already related through brothers Frazier and Fletcher.  

The first Lind house falls under the Archer tree.  So they can't have a romantic relationship with kids in the Archer House or the other Lind households.

Our 2nd Lind House is also part of the Panda House.  So no crossing with other Pandas or other Linds

      I promise you, I am going to be referencing this post and my notes with each Generation 5 kid that spins to a teenager.  So don't feel like you are the only one struggling to understand my crazy control issues!  I do have an extended family mod in my game, which should help keep them in line.  No kissing cousins here, folks!  

Well, that's a wrap on our intermission.  Please stay tuned for the next game update!  Spring is beginning in Legacy Cove, and the first of the kids will be aging up to teens, and there's a few buns in the oven to finish up our Generation 5!
