It's still springtime in Legacy Cove and we're checking in now with Yamaris & Fletcher Lind, along with their eldest child Vincent, his wife Ceera, and their twins Vincent Jr and Vera. They have a couple schnoodles running around also, Princess Peach, Fenway, and Flint. Let's recap.

Okay. First of all. To start....

Yeah, I'm nuts. But I load into the home and both Vincent & Ceera are family Sims asking for another baby. I'm trying to keep a little control on the population growth. Because that's why I had to move from the old Legacyville to Legacy Cove. My rule has loosely been that each couple has one kid. If there's a family sim then they can have 2 kids. Two family sims, 3 kids. But they gotta want the kid. And one sim from each generation is "infertile", just to help keep everything in check.

So, what the heck. Bring on another baby, why not. By 7:23am Monday morning, we have a lullaby.

With twin toddlers in the house, not a whole lot else is going on. Monday passed in a bit of a blur.

Tuesday though, VJ's OneTrueHobby is revealed to be Tinkering! This is like generation 3 with the Tinkerer overload. At least anything broken will get fixed quickly! VJ's great-grandmother Zamaris restored an old car, so possibly he'll pick up that same hobby.

Vera meanwhile was snuggling any dog that would come close. Flint and her are going to be close friends, I think!

Wednesday brought the second baby bump at 10:11am. Sometimes I don't think things through. The baby is due Thursday and that's also the twins birthday. At least the baby will arrive in the morning!

Again, twin toddlers in the house, pregnant momma, and I don't know what I was doing but I wasn't taking any pictures! So let's keep skipping on ahead to Wednesday.

Wednesday. 11:39am, Valerie arrives in Legacy Cove. Pay no attention to Gretchen there in the background. She's just trying to get all of her chores done so she can go home. Somebody didn't make their bed when they got up. Well, GRETCHEN, she was working on that when she went into labor.

Anyway. Here's Valerie!

Gretchen says "Hello, Valerie"

Gretchen is really in the wrong place at the wrong time. Is there not a toilet to scrub!? Maybe she's hoping to photobomb the pics so she can be discovered and get her big break out of this job.

Lets just focus on Valerie. I was hoping for daddy's blue eyes but all 3 kids have Ceera's eye color. I guess that would be a hazel? She also has her granddad's black hair! I don't know if you have all noticed, but there's a LOT of brunettes in this generation.

Honestly, Gretchen, don't break your neck trying to look or anything. I'm about to send her on home for the day. Sheesh!

I'm not sure when Kayla Panda arrived, but she's delighted to see her great-grand niece be born.

Now. If anyone needs to take a nap, I recommend you take one now. Looking at you, Vera and VJ. We're still having a birthday party this afternoon!

It was a glorious spring day, and perfect for a party in the backyard!

Well, how embarassing is that? Vera grew up into almost the same outfit as her distant cousin Wendolyn. Please have a piece of cake and I'll get this fixed.

(Okay, I didn't mean the kids. But it's their birthday, so please have two pieces of cake to give me enough time to get both kids changed and made over.)

NOW... Introducing... VJ and Vera Lind as children!

VJ is just as cute as his daddy is, and Vera looks just like her momma. Thin lips and all. I also peeked at her hobby, which is going to be sports. Again, just like her momma!

The next morning, the kids went off to school. I had Fletcher stay home to help with the new baby even though Yamaris and Vincent were also home. He's got a bunch of vacation days to use though, so why not?

At 3pm for the next week or two, avoid Bamboo Boulevard. The school bus and Ceera's "car" pool arrive at the same time. It's a bit of a cluster....... you know what.

Oh boy, the wild thing about having babies in the morning is that their birthday seems to come up QUICK! Valerie is growing up on us tomorrow on Saturday!

I took a bit of a different approach to Valerie's birthday. Saturday is usually the kids' playdate time. All the neighborhood kids are gathered together to socialize.

Even with all those kids to play with though, Vera loves her momma! She's a bit on the shy side anyway.

At party time, it was just the kids! The family will all be over tomorrow for Sunday dinner anyway, so this let the kids hang out longer without their parents fetching them to go home at 8pm.

Toddlers can be little assholes, you know? So uncooperative. Valerie was not ready to grow up. So we waited.

While they were waiting, Vera went out to play catch with one of the kids and confirmation was made on her OneTrueHobby!

Oh! Here we go, Valerie is ready to be toddler-tossed!

I guess both girls are going to look like Ceera. She's still pretty cute, even though I regret the mouth that Ceera was created with.

The kids all had an absolute blast too. Arranging for them to stay late was a great idea!

Sunday has finally arrived, and can I just say that springtime in the Sims is very confusing? We have both butterflies and snow.

Most of the visitors beeline to the poker table. I have to shoo them away once in a while so they have a chance to pee, eat, and the other Sims get to play. Winifred, by the way, is a surprisingly good poker player.

I'm not sure that I've ever gotten a pic of Walter side-by-side with his parents. He sure did get a blend of his parent's genetics. He does and doesn't look like each one. I'm thinking he probably favors Zoey a bit more than Frazier.

While the other adults played poker, Ceera spent time teaching Valerie how to walk. Vincent has got her potty-trained and Yamaris taught her nursery rhymes this morning. Just need to teach her to talk and she's all set!
