     Welcome back to Legacy Cove!  Let me tell you, there is a lot to unpack from this Lind household so get comfy.  I'm not sure how they managed to have so much going on within just one week, but here we go.   As always, I'll start off with some reintroductions.

MONDAY

The household will wake up a little bit richer.  They started the week with $105,763 in their bank.   After both Yamaris and Fletcher inherited from, *checks notes*, Deb Centowski, Yung Panda, and Fletcher's own twin brother Frazier the new grand total is $114,543.

Unfortunately there's only two Fortune Sims in the household to appreciate this.  But happy day to Yamaris & Vera.

Ceera's been rolling up Wants to level up her body skill.  All that time on the treadmill is paying off!

We have a new MVP in the neighborhood.   Congrats Ceera!

If Mondays weren't already hectic enough as I reacclimate to a household, Vera really wanted to get into Private School and the Headmaster arrived promptly at 5pm.  

I've found the best way to get started with Headmaster Riley is to have one of the kids hang out with him for a bit.  Really gets that schmooze score up!

Afterwards, a quick tour of the house and then dinner.

It was a gamble with serving the salad for dinner.  Perhaps though the score is based on how full the Headmaster's stomach is?  In that case, the fresh produce in their fridge sealed the deal.

He liked it!  Amin really liked it!  

That's quite an impressive score, 114 with only 90 needed.  Excellent work, Vera!

TUESDAY

With all those ups, we all knew a downer was right around the corner, right?

Oh, Fenway...

Fenway joined the family to be a mate for Princess Peach (RIP).   He was Fletcher's dog, thus the "sportsy" name.  

Fenway and Princess Peach had three pups a few weeks ago.  Flint, Flopsy, and Fleur.  And he's already the grand-sire to Flopsy's pup Dora.  

I fear Fenway won't be waiting long for Fletcher to join him.

Aw, bud, I'm going to miss ya. 

He was one of those great dogs that was always just chilling in the background.  No muss, no fuss.

Life just keeps rolling on.  Private school seems to be treating Little Vincent well.  That mechanical skill is his 8th, so that's another scholarship for uni in the bag!

Yamaris had her lil' brother Yardley and his household over to visit.  Everyone beelines for this poker table.  It's actually a bit exhausting because they won't get up until something is in the red.  I'm constantly having to shoo or call over a Sim to cycle them through!

PS - Pearly's household visited yesterday but was unpictured.  All the family gets a day to visit!

And with the first quiet lull in the week that evening, Fletcher called into work and retired!  

He definitely could have done so sooner.  He's a Family Sim and doesn't really care if he works.  But the town is short on doctors and we needed our specialist!  ... Honestly though, I had him stay home to run out his vacation days first.

WEDNESDAY

Now.  Ahem...

I'm not sure if anyone noticed but several of the family members were getting rather pudgy.  "Fat" as the game calls it.

Big Vincent took them out for a jog to help get in shape.  Valerie, Fletcher, and Little Vincent didn't complain TOO much.

YAMARIS, DO YOU WANT CASSIE TO COME OVER HERE AND POKE YOU AROUND?  

Why are y'all like this!  Sheesh!

Anyway...

That afternoon Little Vincent invited over my niece Kylie.

He and Xyla just weren't going to work out.   She's already off at Uni and he's got another week at home.

He had been warming up to Kylie before Xyla put the moves on him anyhoo!

Ahh yes, it didn't take them long to pick back up where they left off.  

Little Vincent wants his first kiss.  

Patience, buddy.  You can't be rushing my niece with stuff like this!

Oh no!  Is that the police!?

Anything I should know about, Simmies?

Just kidding.  Yes, I've got jokes.   

It's the animal control officer dropping off Faroe.

After losing Fenway, OF COURSE they all wanted a puppy and/or a kitten.  It seemed right to adopt Faroe from the other Lind family's litter.  The pups aren't really related but its still keeping her in the family!

I think Little Vincent is more smitten with the puppy than my niece!

THURSDAY

Happy Thanksgiving!  Faroe is already celebrating her first birthday!  

I like her little yellow back paws.  And even though I've been rolling the randomizer before any litters are born she still looks pretty much just like her brother Faramir.

Inside the house, Yamaris and Fletcher are getting all lovey-dovey instead of getting things prepared for his family to arrive for Thanksgiving.

Get it together, you two!

Ugh, this is not helping.  

I started teleporting the other Linds over, and here comes a storm.  With lightning.  Strangers walking by even ran over (red-headed Julian Smith there in the pic).  

Now everyone is going to be stinky and why can't we have nice things just once!

Meanwhile... if they escaped the fire drama, then it was probably because of Faroe drama.

She's very aggressive!

Finally by 5pm they all had their acts together so we could celebrate Valerie's birthday before digging into the Thanksgiving feast (courtesy of the buffet table).  

Been a while since we had a kiddie birthday, so if you missed the birthday spam, well, do I have something for you!

That jumpsuit is awful.  I need to go townify some more of the CC clothes.  The red jumper she wore as a child was actually one that she grew up in from her toddler-to-child birthday.

But a big no to this one.

Anyway, Valerie rolled Popularity.  Four generations of no Pop Sims and now generation 5 has three!  (Wendolyn will probably get changed in Uni since she's on the shy side.  Shayla Panda is the other.)

She wants to be a Celebrity Chef.  At first I groaned.  Had too many in Gen 3.  But I think she's the only Gen 5 and I can make that work with her Arts & Crafts hobby, I think!

Wait, who keeps inviting Grim to my Thanksgiving dinners!?  

Fletcher!

His twin brother Frazier died on Thanksgiving as well.  Really screwing up my holiday here, Grim...

I thought the birthday party in the dining room was a tight squeeze...

I think Fletcher dying on the back deck is going to be worse.

I can't even find the third hula girl.

Big Vincent had a locked Want to "Defeat the Reaper".

He's right there.  RIGHT THERE!

... What a mess.

And now I'm thinking... Can Grim spare a life when they die of old age?

We could have tried at least, Big Vincent!

Fletcher Lind, 78 Days Old

Fletcher was preceded in death by his twin brother Frazier.  He leaves behind his wife, Yamaris.  Two children, Vincent Lind (Ceera) and Vamaris Chauncellor (Caden).  Four grandchildren, Vincent Jr, Vera, Valerie, and Quentin.  One nephew Walter Lind (Julie).  

He'll be missed by also by his extended family, both the Linds and the Pandas.

Fletcher was among the first doctors in Legacy Cove along with his brother-in-law Dr Yardley Panda.

Go get your dog, Fletcher!  Fenway is waiting.

MAN, I am still kicking myself over forgetting to try to beg the Reaper.  

Unfortunately...  As Fletcher wasn't far behind Fenway there's Yamaris on her husband's heals.  She's 77 days old now and her life bar is looking pretty full. Eek!

Well, well, well.

A little food, a little simoleons, and suddenly all the sobbing comes to an end.

You animals.

I've had Fletcher in my game for over 10 years!!  He and Frazier were the firstborns of Gen 8 in the old 'hood!

TRYING TO ROB US DURING THE FUNERAL?

Okay, no they weren't.  But I recall two girls alone in Rocco Wolosenko's bedroom a while back.  So I went through the pics to see just who it was .....

Wouldn't you know, it was Wendolyn and Ursa.  Girls, separate please.  NOW.

I need those two out of Valerie's bedroom so I can get her makeover done.

I actually really love her face.  She looks so close to Vera, but the eyebrows are different.  I had a heck of a time deciding on a hairstyle.

I took screenshots to narrow down my favorites.  "Narrow down" doesn't mean what it used to.

PS - My daughter liked the bottom row, 2nd picture.  With the red headband.  I actually almost went with that.  But it covered her eyebrows too much!

So may I present to you again, Miss Valerie Lind!

My daughter said she looks very artsy.  I'm pretty pleased with myself.  Since she likes arts & crafts, that's the vibe I was going for.

FRIDAY

I'm still pretty worn out from yesterday but the world keeps on spinning.  So they're keeping the "Cousin Day Friday" tradition going.  Mostly for Valerie, she needs to work on her relationships with her extended cousins.

Little Vincent though is looking good with his fam.  So I had Kylie come over again.  

Um...

But my niece or not, she can't be slapping Little Vincent's family in his home.

I have a feeling though that romancer Yoren probably got fresh with her.

So I'm going to precede with my plan!

Ohmygosh!

So cute!  

I should send these pictures to my niece!  They think my game is hilarious.

First Kiss want has been popped!

But that's the only thing poppin' for now, got it?

I actually sent Kylie on home afterwards because I didn't want to have any more drama with her and Yoren.

Little Vincent needed to get another workout in anyway.  He's not fat anymore but his fitness level keeps creeping down.  I figure he needs to work off some steam anyway.

Poor Shayla doesn't deserve to get cornered like this.  I like the girl, especially when she cleans and gardens when she's visiting.  She is a KEEPER, Faroe!

SATURDAY

Good morning everyone!

Nothing to see here but Vera's super cute pajamas!

I kept the Saturday "teen hangout" tradition this week also.

But Valerie took some time that evening to finish up teaching Faroe her first command.  Little Vincent had almost completed it yesterday but Faroe got tired and quit with just a smidge left to go.

The poker table is a favorite with the teens, too.  

I think aside from the fact that I can't keep the Sims away from the game it's that their relationships don't progress as quickly here when compared to things like the chess table.  

It is a nice way for the Fortune Sims to make a little money though.

I've been relying on the buffet table too much.  So Yamaris ordered a pizza and Big Vincent served up some salad and leftover sandwiches.

Everyone devoured all if it.

Seems they needed to fuel up for some dancing.  

Valerie and Vera were honestly fascinating to watch.  They were totally in sync but facing each other.  I haven't seen this happen before!

Then when they got to the part where they clap and hop, they got lined up.  I should have done a video.

After they realigned to face the same way, at that point they did get a little off step from each other.

I'm guessing Vera has the higher dancing skill because Valerie kept looking to her when she misstepped!

SUNDAY

Ceera is a Family Sim and doesn't have any need to work.  So what the heck, let's give the chance card a whirl.

And holy moly, she got promoted.

Crazy that she got two promotions this week without even trying!

If my Sims don't have a LifeTimeWant for a specific job, I don't really push them to get promotions.

What was extra nice here is that Ceera got home early to enjoy the Panda family gathering!

     You've seen the Pandas several times this week so I think this has been more than enough pictures for one update!!!  But one thing that we didn't see...  Ghosts!  Princess Peach's tombstone was joined by Fenway and Fletcher.  And at every other house with a death, the ghosts were quick to pop out so far this week.

     But it was ironically eerily calm here.  I guess we'll see if winter stirs them up here next week.
