TS2 - Legacy Cove
Week 29
1001 Centowski Street
This week is bringing so much shake-ups to the status quo of most every house. We have birthdays, deaths, kids going to college. Our week with the Centowskis is not exempt. The household Sim population is going from 4 to 2. (Dogs not included in the census.) I'm about to tell you how it happened.

MONDAY

Fletcher Lind's inheritance really did reach a lot of Sims. Most of the recipients were his Lind & Panda family, though he had friendships throughout the neighborhood.
Congratulations Xane.
Xander wandered over from next door and my niece Kylie came home on the bus with Xora.
Both of these two are mean, grumpy lil' snots so I'm suspicious of them getting along.
Trust nothing from these two!
But, I guess, thank you for cleaning up the dog wee in the yard?
It put her in a bad spot though when Xavian's helicopter dropped him off after work.
His birthday is this week and the plan is to get him his own car as a gift so we don't have this chaos twice a day.
Nothing helps achieve that goal like teaching them to "Come Here"!

Mondays are usually pretty boring but the nighttime brought even more visitors.
Xyla was already visiting from uni.
It wasn't Flopsy that spooked her though, her great-grandmother Zayna was out.

Xane got his weekly dose of elixer, bringing him to 79 days old on Tuesday morning. He still goes jogging every morning. Sometimes if it's raining or deep snow I'll have him work out on the treadmill or walk a dog instead.
Luckily, Xora was spared the haunting. She wanted to "Get Fit" and worked out on the exercise bike almost all evening.
Goal achieved and now she's ready to drop in bed!

TUESDAY

But he's a very active elder.
My own Sim paused by the house hoping to get some pets. But all the neighborhood dogs adore Hun Pai.
I thought about making my Simself playable and marrying him. But I'd be crushed if the dogs continually chose Hun over myself.
I like him right now, I'd hate to have to kill him in an accidental fire.
Interestingly, Xora changed into her outerwear instead of staying in her private school uniform.
Xavian got to chat with his .. first-cousin-once-removed? I think?
Ulva is Xane's great-niece. She's also the youngest of the Centowski clan so she hasn't gotten as much one-on-one time as her siblings and cousins so her relationships with the extended family needs boosts!
But the kids get off the bus, no homework, then the bus just teleports off the lot instead of driving off.
Xane's brother Xavier's household came by for dinner.
Julie Lind also came home with Morrdy so the dinner table was a busy spot Tuesday night!

Xora is following in his footsteps. I should really get a second violin for the house. Xora is heading to college this week though so I'll just buy her a new one.
Maybe someday Xavian can build a small amphitheater for them to perform in.

Cousin Yeva and Xane aren't as close these days as they were growing up, but she walked by and came to hug him when she saw him in the yard.

Very unintentional! Dora was named for her father Teddy (after Xora was already born and named). Xora is her master though so I guess it worked out.
The nice quiet week is about to change to daily events!
Two birthdays, Xora heading to college, and Xane's lifebar is making me sweat!

Xane pretty consistently wants to become a werewolf. I've never indulged this want but I looked into it.
Sadly, I'm not sure he has time to befriend one of the werewolves in time.

THURSDAY

Xora woke up with a "SNOW!" action.
In the previous blog, Yorwyck looked out the window smiling and happy.

Maybe she doesn't like snow?
Maybe she's upset it's not enough snow for school to be cancelled?
Hard to tell with this girl.
I've actually had the household working hard on praising Checkers for being nice. He is a bit aggressive and acts hostile.
Cue the dog whisperer though! No dog can resist him!
I skipped a previous chance card for Morrdy about dressing up in costumes because last time she got demoted. 😑

PS - Julie, you're welcome. If Morrdy had been demoted from that other chance card (because YES we are always going to choose to dress up), she would have been the only teacher for all these kids until Morrdredd got re-promoted.
ANYWAY. Success is ours! I have no idea how much the bonus was but HOORAY!
But it's time to quit horsing around because it's PARTY TIME!
Xora is a little crazy. Lots of love triangles that I'm not indulging right now while I try to get her last spat from the teen hangout day at the Panda/Deppiesse household fixed.
But she loves her Grampa Xane. Always seems to behave with him around! And cleans up his dishes and stuff without being asked!
Xavian is ready to spin up to his elder years!

I use a cheat when I load up my neighborhood to allow so many Sims on the lot. And I teleport them in. No one's got time to phone all these Sims to invite them, then greet them!

Trace is not a fan. He just wants to eat his chocolate cake.
Xavian will be with us shortly, he's having his cake then he'll get his makeover.
His age-up outfit wasn't horrible, but I think I'll find something that better suits him.
And he's ready for the grey hair. Some of my custom hairs have a normal version also which is nice sometimes.
Other times it just looks... weird?
Well, one is a cousin and two are sisters.

I might change him to the other option once Xyla moves back in after uni and gives him grandchildren.

Flopsy is playing with the cleanbot. Which isn't even in motion.
There's 3 other dogs, and we just had a house full of Sims. It's not like she doesn't have friends and is lonely!

It's Xora's last day of school!
I remembered Yorwyck's homework started reappearing when he and Yoren drove to school one day.
So worth a try. Xora is heading out in Deb's old van but I think she's just excited to be driving herself finally!
Xavian's birthday gift has arrived! I pictured him driving a more sporty car but the ones I have are just a bit too flashy or not in the color I want. So I've been doing my own "shopping" as well through the CC sites.
I gotta cut myself off though or we'll never get finished with this week!
Since when is NOT eating questionable fish the wrong answer? Hmph.
It's the last day of school so..

Well, boo-hoo, my music lovin' girl lost some fitness enthusiasm. Nothing lost that hurts us.
Flopsy is back playing with the cleanbot.
She's only an adult, not an elder. So it's not doggy dementia.
It's actually pretty amusing, to be honest!
Grades only fall if the homework is left undone on the lot. So this isn't really a problem. But I'm looking forward to the next generation and the kids having wants to ask for homework help.
Well, that's a problem for next generation. Today, we got another party!
... Of course, when you have a lot of party guests there's a lot of standing around waiting for everyone to get in the room.
Morrdredd's party guests include the Centowski clan (obviously) and her work friend Julie!
Let's get this party started!
I usually have the household gather nearby and start calling for guests to head that way.
But still, here we are. *twiddles thumbs*

But Cassie was the right choice. He's a grumpy Sim but he loves his wife. He loves the kids.

Morrdy doesn't actually have a lot of big wishes.
Mostly she just wants to level up in creativity. She has a small studio in the garage with her toy-making bench and easel. So I'll let her spend some extra time in there this weekend.
Well, not a bad outfit considering what might have spun up.

It's elder time!
Her girls got her eyes, but the majority of the genes are strongly Centowski (and O'Simski cheeks!)
Kind of sad because Morrdy is so pretty but Xyla and Xora are definitely pretty in their own ways!
But I'm still going to change that.
She's a teacher but once Gen 5 is all off to uni I'm letting her retire! Then she can play with her art stuff all day instead.
I want you all to know that I already used boolprop once before the party to change Cassie out of her bathing suit into everyday clothes.
But cake time is over and she went right back out to the water wiggler.
The mod that I NEED is the one to make them change back playing in the water.
She's here almost every day visiting. She'll finish up her college time this week and be right back home for spring!
PS - She also clogged that toilet behind her.
And throughout the day, we've had FOUR damn toilets clogged.

I kicked the servos out of the houses because filling their social needs and stuff is ridiculous.
So they get teleported in like everyone else. It's fabulous.
Little bit of a change from her punk-ish outfit she had on before but not a far jump.
I also knew before she even aged up that I wanted that hairstyle for her.

SATURDAY

Normally on Saturday, we'd have a bunch of teenagers taking over.
But Xora is heading off to college today so just Xyla.
Who was raised in a barn and can't close a door!
Somehow, the dogs don't have high relationships with the whole household. Mostly just their masters. So with Xora leaving and Xane's lifebar filling rapidly, I've been trying hard to get Xavian or Morrdy to step up with Dora and Checkers. (Checkers is Xane's boy)
Gosh, it's so hard to see them grow up!
But it's time to let her fly the nest.
Hopefully, she won't be such a nut job in college as she is as a teen. (Please just let it be teen Romancer hormones, please!)
It certainly isn't a good time to stop and block Xora's path.
Xora wants to be a Rock God but her focus will be on the violin.
She's got big dreams! Here's wishing her big efforts to achieve her dreams!

You know what, I know exactly how she's feeling.

Gonna buy a lot to found the Centowski Hall (girls only, no boys allowed! So ironic after many generations of the exact opposite!) and get Xora cleaned up.

The Centowski nose is much more understated on the females, but their profile definitely shoulds "FAMILY!"

6pm came and went and Xane is still here!
Tomorrow on Sunday, they'll host a nice family holiday dinner. So while the downside is that's be a lot of Sims mourning him, he'll get to say a last goodbye to everyone.
It's leftover soup from Xavian's inventory but no one's complaining.
Xavian got the tree up and turned the lights on.
Such a nice, cozy night.

Xane's niece Treva showed up also.

Xane Centowski, 84 days, passed away Saturday evening at home of natural causes. He's preceded in death by his wife Deb. He leaves behind two sons, Xavian (Morrdredd) & Xayden. Also left behind are his two granddaughters Xyla and Xora Centowski, his brothers Xavian and Xander, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
His dedication to education will be remembered.
UGH.

And I thought, "Whew, at least the robot is fixing the other robot."
But she got interrupted by someone trying to go through the door. Luckily I noticed before the Cleanbot started up again throwing more trash around.

Checkers's favorite person died last night and things went to hell in a handbasket.

It wasn't even an option because I was so happy to have Checkers back home so quickly that even with the lecture I was trying to figure out how to pay her (lol), but he tipped her 94 simoleons automatically!
As I was bringing the rest of the Centowski clan over for the holiday gathering, teen townie Daphne came onto the lot with ill intentions.

... Unfortunately this bot also malfunctioned and zapped Trace.
The past 3 days are really trying my patience with the broken stuff. First four toilets in one day, then this weekend is full of broken bots.
On a positive note though, Morrdy and Xavian are really enjoying the empty nest.
Even if their house isn't empty.
Xyla does not do well with not being the center of attention so I'm going to keep my eye on her.

Even townies were running up on the porch to see what was going on.

The fight went on so long, the snow melted!
But Flopsy wins! She beat that ol' wolf!
On a side note; While researching the werewolf thing I found out that the more trees on a lot, the more frequently the wolves visit. This really explains a lot because they are constantly here!
I didn't cook the holiday roast. With the number of Sims here, I decided to just get the buffet table.
So the dinner table was full of Sims eating most of the night. Perfect holiday gathering!
... I'm going to quit saying positive things.
I didn't even realize Yvonne had come over.
I COULD ban the wolves with the adjuster, but the knowledge Sims like to see them. And apparently want to BE them.
Why does anyone even come over to visit this house?
At least Renee has a good memory of the ghost?
And I have no idea if she somehow got the positive ghost icon over her head before she saw Ghost Tanner, or if she got spooked twice.
But she peed herself in any matter. Sorry, Renee. The knowledge Sims like to see the ghosts as well as the wolves so they aren't getting kicked off the lot anytime soon either.
Everyone please get out of the hallway until the ghosts disperse!!!
Just another good feely moment. These two have never been so lovey-dovey as they are now! It's so cute.

And now the leaves are starting to sprout on the trees as spring sneaks in. We'll say goodbye to our two lovebirds and when next we see them, Xyla will be returning from college and probably bringing her future husband with her!
Prepare for lovey-dovey stuff one way or another because spring does give a boost to romantic wants and actions!
