Listen my children and you shall hear of the midnight.... the midnight NOTHING. What is wrong with these Sim kids today? It used to be you loaded up a house and the kids were itching to sneak out of the house with their friends and/or cousins. Now they just want to go to college, get jobs, or go steady with their first kiss.
It's a new day, I guess. And another Centowski house. This one is home to one of the twins from the 3rd generation, Xavier Centowski and his wife Lindsay. But let's not forget the two generations that spawned from them!

I feel like these skill points (or cash rewards) have been missing in the last few houses.
Maybe something with the missing homework affected these two? 🤔 I'm not sure, but I'm glad I've got it fixed.

There's lots of Centowski family to keep up relationships with, and Monday they started with Xavier's nephew.. the one and only Mayor Xavian Centowski.
He brought his wife Morrdy and his daughters Xyla & Xora from Uni also "showed up" (aka were teleported in).
Chase Bearhunter came home on the bus with the kids and Treva actually just showed up!
Silia walked by and I thought she might welcome herself in since she and Lindsay are good friends.
I suppose she saw all the smustling going on and kept walking.
I don't blame her. Not at all.
And if they don't have the stereo blasting while they boogie, then the second favorite neighborhood activity is kicky bag.
But mostly I just wanted to show off the Centowski ladies outerwear. They like their boots!
Well, her "man" is still a teen but I'm pretty sure Xora and Quentin are going to continue their romance when he heads off for college later this week.

Ulva's and Uncas's skills looked a little low. Not an issue with Uncas since his major life goal is to marry off 6 children. (And we'll see... that's a lot of "U" names to come up with).
With five out of seven household Sims being nature nuts, there's a big surplus of produce.
Uri and Renee gifted the college girls with some strawberries, lemons, and lots of eggplants to help them out.
(Eggplant juice = random skill point.

But Ulva wants to follow in her grandmother's footsteps to become The Law. And cleaning somehow contributes to her nature hobby... surprise! Secret lot access!
She had me so worried that I didn't even notice Ghost Louie floating around.

At least Renee has knowledge as her secondary so it's a blue memory... and at least she lives here so she can go take a shower.
It's DEFINITELY bedtime once the ghosts start making Sims pee themselves.
But Ulva wasn't tired so I finally remembered to check out a secret hobby lot.

I've told you all over and over, we have the BEST mailman here in Legacy Cove. He waited for Leonardo to figure his life out and become unstuck so he could pet him.
You know why everyone quit dancing yesterday and moved to the backyard for some kicky bag?
The stereo broke.
I truly considered leaving it broke for a while but Renee went to bed with a Want to fix it.
Sooo... I brought in their Servo, Xerva.
Anyway, turns out both Ursa and Ulva are both in the school orchestra and both are playing the violin.
Ursa didn't need the creativity point, but Ulva will GLADLY take that, thank you!
They've got money to spoil the dogs as well. There's a lot of passive income here from the retirement checks and daily "Smart Investing". Plus Renee's top of the education career and while Uri isn't at the top of his, he's close.
Today's visitor count is a lot more reasonable.
Since the kids are teens these days and don't need her as much, Renee really puts a lot of time into being a dog mom.
Even though Lachlan is an elder, she walks him almost every day and spends a lot of time playing with him.
He's a very spoiled pooch.

I must have the skunks blocked with the visitor controller because I never saw it.
Xavier goes hiking almost every day. Ulva joins him about half the time. Winter is a terrible time for a nature nut, and worse for a retired Fortune Sim. Too much down time!
Our Generation 4 bachelor Xayden sometimes gets grouped into family gatherings with his twin brother Xavian but I figured he deserved a day of his own.
While we're here in the kitchen, THIS BOY IS ALWAYS HUNGRY.
I try to feed him a steady diet of eggplant juice to help him get some skills but apparently you don't need a lot to make Grandma's Comfort Soup.
Really, I'm not sure I've seen them make this autonomously before. Always something new to see!
Big Vincent turned up first, then our one and only Legacy heir Zavoy stopped in too.
Meanwhile, in the background...
Uncas, the FITNESS SIM, is punching his ol' Granddad Xavier.
While Xerva is facedown, butt up trying to fix the dishwasher.

But like any good family Sim, he does need those cooking skills. Especially since he is like most teenage boys and is a bottomless pit!
Wouldn't you know, his fitness bar is totally full. Eats all day, doesn't gain a pound.

Xavier's twin Xander and his family are visiting today.
That's Xavier's niece Treva and her husband Soupy.
Xavier is almost always outside. He's outside or he's following Lindsay or she's following him as he's outside. I really don't know what the two of them do outside all day. It's COLD.
Xayden heard that some of the family was gathering at Xavier's house again and came on over.
He and Trace are pretty in-step with each other on the smustle.
It's like they do this a lot.
Ursa and Ulva are doing some sisterly punching, and I hope it's with love. Not spite.
Sometimes with the faces they make, I really can't tell!

I think Lindsay is in denial. That face is saying "You're crazy, we're not old!".
Geez, we're going to get a pop-up of some sort every day aren't we?

Anyway, hey! Uri has earned $50k. Not bad for a family Sim with no interest going further in his career!
Remember way, way up at the top of this blog when I said these kids only want to go steady with their first kiss?
Uncas and Valerie. He asked her to go steady, right in front of his family.
She said yes!
And now they are slapping each other's hands!
These two are very committed for a couple with no lightning bolts.
At this point I'm really curious how far they'll take this relationship.
She really wasn't cooperative because she had some big opinions on Renee & Uri's conversation about recycling and eco stuff.
I'm not sure if Grim will come for Lindsay today or tomorrow.
So I took a few pics of her just in case this is our last few moments with her.
This would have been an amusing time for Grim to show up but he's giving her another day, I guess.
More time for her to argue about oil spills. 
I need to remember there's more kids at this school than living in the neighborhood. Don't split marbles, don't play games that are best with small numbers of participants...

This is Harper Livingston. I guess she's playing hooky from school.
She's a hellion and I don't know why she's lingering here.

She was lingering to make sure no one was watching her before she walked to the back of the house and kicked the trash can.

Unlike Harper though, Silia doesn't leave. She hangs around talking to Lindsay.

And no one's played in the stupid sprinkler all week but now here we are with Trace walking around in his swim trunks in the winter time while I'm trying to take meaningful pictures of Lindsay's passing.
You know, she doesn't look all that upset to me about this.
At least he came at a time when Lindsay was in a position that had some room for all the hula dancers and mourners.
Aw, man, but all the kids. Why didn't I think of this before I brought the kids over?

Lindsay (Mizry) Centowski, 75 days old.
Lindsay passed away in her home Friday of Week 29. She is preceded in death by her dog Luna. And survived by her husband Xavier, her son Uri and daughter-in-law Renee, and three grandchildren, Ursa, Ulva, and Uncas.
She'll be remembered for adopting the first Dalmation and kicking off a second dog breed for the neighborhood.
She's also remembered as the first "The Law" in Legacy Cove, a position now held by Vamaris Chauncellor since Lindsay's retirement.
And making children cry.
Lucian came home on the bus with the kids.
And bless my nephew's heart but he has horrible timing.

Then that inheritance hit and her booty started shaking.

THEN I caught her and the robot in the bathroom beating him up!
She needs to be careful, because he IS still my nephew!
I'm going easy on her now just because I know she was close to Grandma Lindsay and she's still grieving.

He's really having a hard time with losing his wife. Both were Fortune Sims and nature lovers. No one understood him like her!

I had Uri and Renee whip up some sparkly sandwiches and salads for the kids to eat.
By the way, Valerie sat on the couch all night and never went home. She's just stayed at their house all day. Playing hooky like Harper Livingston.
Poor Xavier.

So it's after midnight and technically Saturday but here's the thing. We've been trying ALLLLLLLL week to find a job in the Slacker career for Ursa.
Now, I saved the game right before checking the careers. I could exit without saving and try again because it'll give me a new mix of jobs.
But. I sent Ursa to tell her dad goodbye, had her drink some strawberry lemonade to give her platinum status, locked the Want to be best friends with Ceera, and then...
I sent her on her way to Uni.
She was going to leave before 6pm the next day. Now is as good a time as any.
She's the first teen to ask for a job so I kind of hate I couldn't fill that want for her. It is what it is.
So I loaded her up with some stuff for school and let her leave the nest.
Her parents are actually waving goodbye and just standing in stupid directions.
But it looks like they are high-fiving.
Whether it was getting one child out of the house with two to go or that our romancing Ursa is actually going to college.. or maybe both.. but yeah.

I'm actually excited to see her grow up.
She was a bit awkward as a toddler and child, but she's really grown into her looks and I think she's very pretty!
Well, off she goes! She'll be back on Sunday for the big family dinner!

Saturday morning before the neighborhood teens arrived, Xavier and Ulva went on a hike again.
At least this time he didn't return with a skunk!
Sometimes I think Ulva should be the one to inherit the family house. But I'm pretty sure she's marrying another heir when she grows up.

We don't have bright colors here in this household!

You know, they really need to get a SentryBot here.
The teen gatherings have been getting smaller and smaller as Generation 5 heads off to college.
Teens still here are; Ulva & Uncas, Trace Centowski, Shayla & Sebastian Panda, Quentin Chauncellor, and Valerie Lind.
Only Ulva, Uncas, and Valerie will still be teens next week!

They are playing with my emotions, aren't they? Every time! EVERY TIME!

Uncas just happened to be the closest Sim not doing anything when I noticed the trash compactor needed repaired.
He's the only Sim carrying on the Centowski family name so please, Uncas, don't get electrocuted!

And then I saw my new brother-in-law Brad making what is I think he's very first appearance walking by.
Except he stopped to go to the backyard to try to steal the gnomes. Y'ALL LEAVE THE GNOMES ALONE ALREADY!
Later, Ulva wanted to make some money. Crazy that she's a Fortune Sim halfway through her teens and hasn't made a single simoleon of her own.
So she freestyled for tips.
Sebastian gave her some money AND a thumbs up!
Listen, I'm only not going to lose my mind here because this is fairly valid since you just made your first buck.

Ugh, I just noticed Lachlan's life bar is looking a little full.
Grim might be coming for him at 11am when the pets age.
Renee doesn't leave this dog alone but I made sure he got some extra pets and belly rubs, just in case.

Meanwhile, the clocked ticked noon. That's when I usually start teleporting in the family for Sunday dinner.
The house went from mourning to smustle just as fast as you can snap your fingers.
Ursa didn't change too much from teen to young adult, but she does look really nice, doesn't she?
They grow up so quick!

The house may be alive, but Renee and Uri took a moment outside across the street for a sweet hug.

I teleported in Ursa's teen love, Vera today too. It looks like their romance is going to continue at least through the college years.

I meant to send Renee out to get a new Dalmation lady to pair with Leonardo, but time got away from me.

In honor of Lindsay's passing, there's no sparkly food today.
I just set out the buffet table.
Then I realized how dark and dull that little hallway is and decorated it, but failed to take a picture. Drat!
Also, real life Lindsay lost her cat this past week as well.
So even though this is a Dalmation house and they have no cats, I put a black & white picture of two cats up in the bathroom. Vinny was a tuxedo boy but I didn't have a pic to match him any closer.

Shew, that was a long ride. A lot of Sims in action means a lot of pictures! But now the household is saying goodbye to winter and hello to spring! So time to move on to the next Centowski household. Home to the family of Xavier's twin.. Xander!
But... wait... I popped over to the uni lots to take a look at the kids' Wants to see if there's anything I should lock...
Ursa! That's your potential mother-in-law! What is happening??? Also, Vera + Ursa are 3-bolts. THREE! BOLTS! Ursa & Ceera are only two. Don't ruin a good thing, girl! I feel blindsided here because Ceera wanted to be friends with Ursa. Then I finished playing the Lind household and moved here to the Centowskis. Ursa wanted to be Best Friends, then BFF's... And now here we are.
Have I been played? I'm supposed to be in charge here! SHEESH!
Romance Sims... I'll never understand 'em.
