Week 27

1002 Centowski Street 

 

     Hi ho, hi ho, it's back to Centowski Street we go!  This is the 2nd of our four Centowski homes.  There are no Grim sightings this week!  Maybe he's on vacation, but I'm relieved in any case.  Lots of positives this week, though it did start off rough for me personally just trying to get into the groove.  At the end though, I was sad their summer was over.

     Without further adieu, let me go over the residents here.

MONDAY

Ahh... a Fortune Sim's dream!  Money while they sleep.

Xavier inherited from both Zack and Yvette, while Lindsay only received money from Yvette.

While the reason for the money is sad, the simoleons always cheers the Fortune Sims right up!

The garden is a full-time job, and that's with having four of these Nature nuts in the house!  

Renee got her gold badge before heading off to work Monday morning.

Monday morning was pretty hectic and I was glad to send some of these Sims off to work and school!

Xavier's older brother Xane came by with his household to visit.  Along with some Sims right off the street, like Laken.  The smustle dance seems to call to them.

Xavier was trying to teach Uncas how to talk and all these Sims are just dancing almost on top of them!

TUESDAY

Tuesday was thankfully a bit quieter.  Though something had a burr in Trace's saddle.  He kept making angry faces and I have no idea who he was angry with!  

Ursa got an unpleasant surprise though.  Grim may be on vacation, but the ghost dogs are not!

When the ghosts come out to play, the Sims go home and come back another day!  Bed time!

WEDNESDAY

I guess Deb doesn't have any birds in her yard, so she came over early on Wednesday to bird watch in Xavier's yard all day.  

It's fine, she was going to be invited over anyway.  Because it's PARTY TIME!

The twins are about to spin up to childhood!  Yay!

Ulva is the only one of the three kids to inherit the Centowski nose.  She also inherited the household's passion for nature, though I'm not sure how she's flagged for that as a toddler.

While the kids change clothes, I'll show off their rooms.  Uri was an only child and his room was redecorated when he moved back from Uni.  So the kids rooms are almost all brand new.  

This is Ulva's room.  Butterfly wallpaper and flowers on the bed!  Perfect for the little nature girl.

Uncas has lots of greens and blues.  That's actually his dad's bed from his childhood.  Same bedspread too!

Isn't she a cutie!  I thought the boots with this outfit would be helpful out in the garden or if she goes bug hunting.

THURSDAY

Surprise!  Another birthday, though this time much quieter.  Leonardo has grown up!

Lachlan has been doing this all week.  His cleanliness rate is right in the middle.  Neither a pig pen nor finicky.

He'll be laying in a dog bed and shake whatever this is supposed to be off.

Ew.

FRIDAY

Well, how about them apples.  Uri doesn't care about his job. He just wants to graduate three children from college.  So we gambled on a chance card.  

He beat his boss at a word game, so obviously a promotion was due.  

Congratulations, Uri!

It's great that he came home early with this promotion because it's party time again!

Well, we could throw one heck of a party!

I can't wait to see her grown up into a teenager.  She's such a quiet kid.  She's very active, playful, and nice.  But always very quiet.

ALL THAT MONEY AND WE COULDN'T HIRE SOMEONE TO TRIM THAT TREE?

It actually didn't pop up to be trimmed until everyone was heading to the cake.  Just RUIN their Instagram pictures, will you!

Don't worry, Ursa, I'll get you fixed up.  BUT FIRST!

Oof.  Romance.  She's our third Romancer for this generation, with Yoren and Xora being the other two.

Her LifeTimeWant is to be a Professional Party Guest.  Dream big, girl!

Teen girls are pretty notorious for taking a long time to pick out clothes and get dressed.  So while Ursa is shopping for new clothes, let me show off their backyard.

It's really not too fancy.  Obligatory dog cemetery, the dog houses.  The water wriggler Morrdredd made is the tiny purple speck.

The garden may not look very big but it takes all the adults to maintain it.  Whew.

And then there's a chess table nestled in-between the garden and the garage.

Xyla is playing solo at the moment.  That never lasts for long!

Ursa is ready!  She grew up very nicely!  It took me forever to find a hair style I liked on her as a teen.  And I'm in love with this one!  She's ready to woo some unsuspecting teenagers!

I'm not sure why everyone is outside hanging around in the dark.  I'm always suspicious when the Sims are doing things they don't normally do.

But turns out it was a couple games of catch and some dirty jokes.

After the party started to wind down, I had Ursa take Leonardo out to teach him "Come here".  

I gave him a day and a half to pick his own master and no one has gotten the icon for it.  I was hoping he'd be Ursa's dog so it's time to nudge these two closer together!

SATURDAY

It always makes me laugh when they get a skill point doing something so mundane.  I didn't even tell her to clean the dog bed.  She's supposed to be making her own bed!

Also, Uncas is the only Sim in this household to have his neatness level over a 5.  Lots of messy Sims here!

One last birthday this week, and it goes to Lotus.  

She's the momma of Leonardo.   

Let's see if old age slows her down when all the kids arrive for the Saturday playdate!

There's just so many kids and teens now.  And how many times do I have to tell them to NOT PLAY IN THE STREET!

You are old enough to know better!!!  Set a better example to the younger kids!

Well, the weather was great for most of the week so I guess this was due.  And most of the kids all moved inside.   

If real me was put in this house with all these Sims inside.... You'd see me loose my introverted mind!

WHAT!  Xyla and Little Vincent are making out in the corner!

Oh snap, our first crush and love hearts.  I'm not too sure on the longevity of this summer romance though since both of them are the intended heirs for their houses.

Earlier outside, I had Ursa scope the room and.... WINNIFRED was hot.

Now her sister Wendolyn!?

Those Lind girls better be ready, because Ursa is on the prowl!

Deb invited herself over again.  Just hanging with the teens eating some sandwiches.

I dunno, I'm not ready to commit to either of them being lesbians.  It's ironic though because my thought for the "sterile" Sim for this generation was for a same-sex marriage.

Darn you Ursa for giving away my plans.  

Ugh!

Meanwhile... in the kitchen... we now have a rousing game of kicky bag.

And Deb's encouraging it!

I should have just got a buffet table because MY WRIGHT do these kids eat a lot.  This is the third meal I've served them, plus some leftover pizza.

As the night wore on, most of the teens found their way to the living room to hang out.

Parents weren't here to take them home, so they are in the backyard playing in the water!

PS - that's two living dogs and one ghost dog in the background!  Looks like it's time to call it a night.

SUNDAY

Our last summer day!  We're going to spend it with family.  

The sun is shining and the kicky bag game is outside this time.  

Noticeably absent a Deb to cheer them on!  Is it because she likes the kids better than the adults, or because she likes to instigate trouble and there's none here outside?  Hmmmm...

Cassie!  Ma'am!

If you are going to clog the toilet, you better turn around real quick and unclog it!

Spoiler:  She did not unclog the toilet.  We had to bring in Xerva the servo.

I may not have gotten pictures of Ursa hugging her siblings when they were all children, but at least I got the twins!

Just like the other set of twins (Little Vincent and Vera), they look nothing alike!

Which is funny to me because their granddad Xavier is almost identical to his twin Xander.

     Sadly their week is over!  Next week Xavier and Lindsay will need to retire as their replacements have already been appointed.  Xavier's niece Treva is our new Space Cowboy.  Lindsay is being replaced as THE LAW by Vamaris Chauncellor.  

     On the upside, we'll get to see the twins grow up!  And I've got to empty Xavier's inventory next week.  He's closing in on the end of his lifespan with so many harvested items.  More eggplants there than in my own kitchen (I have four very healthy plants in my own garden haha) and plenty of other fruits and veggies too.
