TS2 - Legacy Cove - Week 24
101 Bayview Drive
Hello, hello! This stop on our tour of week 24 is the home of Zoey and Frazier Lind along with their son Walter and wife Julie. They also have an adorable schnoodle named Aspen.
It's baby week and I feel Julie is not going to disappoint me. Before I jump too far ahead, let me reintroduce the residents of the house.

Let's get everyone back in motion Julie and I will be happy to help you make that baby want come true! Monday flew by, and Tuesday came in fast. Seeing as how Zoey's gym is not ever over-populated (the adjuster on the lot is set to Fitness sims only), I let her go open it up. This pandemic is about under control now so this seemed like a good baby step.
So...Hmm... There's several fitness Sims in the neighborhood besides Zoey. Her nephews Zavoy and Vincent, and her cousin Xane. I suspect a few townies are as well but I have not confirmed. But no one wants to come work out. At least their investments are working hard.
The business reviewer is here OFTEN though. Blazej Nott can't get enough of this place. He loves it.
I teleported Zavoy and Vincent in. Zavoy declined to come in to work out. But Vincent sure was excited! And Mr Nott just thinks this place is the best thing since motherlode was created.
That's her second Best of the Best award. And yes, she is juggling. Zavoy finally came back and mostly alternated drinking a lot of juice and visiting the men's room. I finally had Zoey chase him out and head back home.
Things are a lot more exciting starting on Wednesday at the home lot!
I was going to be very impressed with Julie for not heaving over the toilets. But I found a massacred toilet. She was just super sneaky. Pregnant Julie struggles with being ravenously hungry and tired. She pulled through the 2nd trimester without drama though.
I'm really glad we've got a baby coming because there's just really not much else going on at the Lind house this week. Zoey is all about work work work, Frazier is thinking about retiring so he can play games full time, and Walter just looks pretty. He does a good job at being pretty though. Julie obviously had her hands full with being pregnant.
Then Friday night......
I had brought Yamaris over to help as a midwife, laughingly assuming that Zoey would be helpful as well. No. The girls were out playing games in the yard while Frazier and Walter freaked the heck out.
The labor started out easy enough, she's even got a smile!
But as any laboring woman will tell you.... that'll change. UNFORTUNATELY OUR WOMEN EXPERIENCED IN LABOR ARE NOT HERE.
It's okay, Julie. We're going to get through this. Just do the little spin and it'll all be over!
She seemed to be in labor longer than the other two Sims that recently gave birth (Laken and Morrdredd). I got concerned that she would have twins. Then I remembered I never quite settled on names! What if I have to pick two of them now!? Oh, man, now I'M freaking out!
Zoey arrived in time for all the hard work to be done.
She's beautiful! Yes, we have another girl!
At least her birth was received positively by the whole household! Frazier did get a little blue pacifier thing over his head, he was just a little behind the rest of them. That's kinda Frazier in a nutshell though.
Her name is Winifred Lind, aka Winnie. She was born Week 24 on Friday at 11:38pm. As the poem goes, "Friday's child is loving and giving" and her name means "blessed peacemaker."
I'm sure she will be one hell of a terror as a toddler.
Frazier woke the next morning along with Zoey. He was in such a great mood! He planted a sweet kiss on his wife. Then he went to the nursery to cuddle Winnie. Awww!
After feeding the baby a bottle and a few more cuddles, he put her back in her crib. Winnie is a good little sleeper, by the way. Nothing like Zaryn and even better at snoozing than Xyla!
Once Winnie was settled down for her nap, Frazier went on a hunt for Julie to give her a big hug. This man is just melting my heart! A great husband, great grandpa, a great father-in-law!
Then there's Zoey....
Zoey has earned lots of love from me over her lifespan. Cute as a button, or as I call her, my "Barbie Sim". Super nice, the other Sims love her. Ambitious and hard working.
But she's an absolute shit Granny.
"Zoey, this is Winnie!"
On a more positive note, Julie, you may have just had a baby but you still got it. Vincent is totally checking you out.
But honestly, I understand letting the baby have some floor time. But the place to set the baby is NOT right in front of the refrigerator where there's extra foot traffic. No, Julie. No.
They all survived through Saturday and Sunday I decided the family dinner was in order. The baby had no shortage of caretakers! Great-Uncle Zack was the first to hone in on Winnie when she woke from her nap, but there were plenty of others waiting for their chance to hold the baby!
With all the extra hands to help with Winnie, Julie took the time to make a turkey dinner. It's fall so I guess Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Unfortunately, we are going to have to wait until next week to celebrate little Winifred's first birthday. I have a feeling though that she's going to look a lot like her momma!
After the 'New Baby!' mania wore off, Uncle Zavoy was there to swoop in. I swear, he looks like he's telling me he's got one of these at home and is a pro. He really is a great dad! Romance sims, always surprising me.
So that wraps up the first of our Lind homes for the fall. I can't wait until next week for baby Winnie's birthday. Her mom and dad are cuties and I can't wait to see who she looks like!
Thanks for reading!
Carissa
