TS2 - Legacy Cove - Week 24

Hello, we're going to get a bit of a breather here from weddings, babies, and puppies with the second Centowski household. Xavier and Lindsay are welcoming back Uri from university, but his girlfriend Renee still has another week before she'll graduate and join us. Let's jump right in and get moving.

Monday started off snappy. There was a lot going on the first half of the day. First, Lindsay was our last hold out with the cold. I segregated her from the rest of the house until it was clear to go to the kitchen and make some orange juice.
Uri started right out asking for a baby right away. You got the right idea kid, but bad timing. We gotta wait on Renee and it would be nice if you married her first so that the baby could have your last name.
But I like your gumption and we're gonna lock that one for a whole week. Can't let good wants slip away. Anyway, Uri continued to be on a roll. After bringing Renee over and getting that flirt want taken care of, he rolled up some more goodies for me.
As luck would have it, I had him scrolling through the day's job postings to see if there was anything we liked and there WAS an architecture position open! Congratulations to our new Architectural Partner.
Oh, and Luna had a birthday and is now an elder pup. All this before 11am!!! The dogs haven't even gotten baths yet (Lindsay is Luna's master and in charge of her baths, she's at work. Don't ask questions please, it's a small measure of order in this chaos!)
Xavier really likes his future daughter-in-law. Maybe a little too much. Uri autonomously flirts with Renee and seeks her out constantly, which is good. He needs to assert himself before Xavier starts getting ideas since he and Renee are ALSO 3-bolters. Yikes.
And Uri may have left college as a graduate, but he forgot to leave some of those college day habits behind.
Monday evening, Xavier's brother Xane and his family came to visit. That's his wife Deb, one of his adult twins Xavian and wife Morrdy. The garden is where everyone wants to be. It's a bit frustrating because there's a perfectly beautiful, well-lit house they could be in. But it's a nice fall evening, so I guess I understand.
The fun thing about all the fortune Sims in the house is that their Smart Investing is usually more than their individual wage. Sometimes even their cumulative daily wages!
Uri is a family guy but he still felt great bringing home his first paycheck on Tuesday!
Did you see the dog laying there beside the street? I think that's Luna. That's her favorite spot to hang out. It's awkward because that's also where Louie pees. Luckily they had two helpers to rake and clean the yard up today. Xerva is the Centowski's communal bot. Renee is raking out of the goodness of her heart.
It was a quiet week with visiting family, taking care of the garden, daily hikes for Xavier and Louie, and getting to know the newcomers like Renee and Xavian's wife Morrdred. Friday though we had another (quiet) birthday. Louie's getting older too!
Friday night got a little more exciting as they resurrected 'Cousin Night' and had Xavian, Morrdy, Xayden, Treva, and Soupy to hang out. I kinda really loved how they hung out in the den with the radio playing and eating pizza.
The weekend was spent getting their garden and little orchard finished up before winter. They got a last, beautiful harvest from the apple and lemon trees!
The Sunday family dinner was short-lived as everyone in the house currently works on Sunday! Xavier invited everyone over for a few hours before he left for work and considered calling off. But firstly, he's a fortune sim!! Gotta make that money! And secondly, he only has 2 vacation days and I have a feeling we might need them next week!
