At 4am, here comes Zinc 2.0 and I'm wondering what brings him to their house before daylight. HE CAME TO TRY TO STEAL OUR GNOME!!!
He fails, he leaves. I'm sitting here very suspicious because, what!!?? WHY? What is even happening with these robots and the garden statues??
But then Zinc 2.0 comes back AGAIN around 12:30 Monday night/Tuesday morning. This time, we had the sentry bot turned on.
I imagine myself as an old lady waving my cane at him and yelling, "And don't let me catch on you on my property again!!!"
Well, Tuesday dawned and was a much better day. Isaac got a promotion! He's now fulfilled his LifeTime Want and is perma-plat. These two are our generation 4 power couple for sure. (Zoey and Frazier hold that title for generation 3!)
He and Zakki were having a big celebratory make-out session when her dad Zack walked in unannounced and uninvited. Yikes. Then I remembered Zack is a romance Sim and chill with this kind of behavior.
They also had a celebratory whoo-hoo session with no cameras allowed, and I heard the sounds of a lullaby! Oh, I'm so excited!! I'm already working on names for the lil' nooboo. Hopefully it's just the one, but now that I've thought about twins I better have some extra names ready.
Meanwhile... Zinc 2.0 hasn't been back but why do I feel like he's sending in the other Archers to do his dirty work for him? (Zinc 2.0 is the servo for the Legacy family heirs and spares.)
I don't think I'm the only one suspicious. But really, what is so special about this gnome? For the first half of the week, half the visitors teleported in and a good bit of the passersby tried to steal the gnome!
Everything's not all suspicions and conspiracy theories though! FIRST BABY BUMP of our incoming newborn!
The next morning, as our loyal, fantastic newspaper boy Anthony delivered the paper, Yvonne showed up. She has a real obsession with stealing newspapers. And Anthony Has Had Enough!
He doesn't even wait for the sentry bot to finish zapping her before he lays in with the lecture. I'm impressed with him. He's getting a big tip next time we can catch him outside. He's also quite the cutie, I'm thinking he might need to go to college soon and meet some future debutantes!
Leroy the stray also came back! Both Zakki and Isaac played some fetch with him, fed him treats, put out the dog food bowl... Leroy enjoyed the attention and the treats, ignored the food, spent some time in the dining room looking out the window, then left.
I'm going to have to do some research into how to get a stray to come by often enough to build up a relationship so they can adopt him. The first week he was here almost every day! Then I don't think we saw him all summer and it took him half this week to show up. And of course, he didn't come back again after that. I'm so sad! Leroy, where are you!
But Zakki cheered me back up after Leroy's departure. Bump #2!!! We're getting so close!
And I absolutely forgot they didn't have paint on their walls in the bedroom. It'll be a den or living room of some sort one day in the future. After the picture I did go splash some paint on the walls so Zakki can be a respectable Fortune Sim.
Oh, and I can't wait! Let's just jump to Friday night!!! It's baby time! The other ladies of her family are present. Toots, Julie, and Laken are on-hand, even if one of them who shall remain nameless is busy playing the guitar.
Nameless, and not pictured.
Ya'll, let's welcome Rocco Wolosenko to the family! It's a boy! And he has his daddy's hair and eyes! For not being Family Sims, Zakki and Isaac are smitten! Zakki is afraid of changing a diaper though, Isaac's been a trooper with taking care of those dirty nappies.
Rocco's arrival was well-received by everyone!
I have to give a shout-out to Laken, who I previously thought vaguely irresponsible and lazy (before she married Zavoy). She's indeed none of those things. She's happily allowed herself to be influenced to clean the house and even took it upon herself to take the juice can abandoned by Zakki when she went into labor, and threw it away in the trash. She's a great sister-in-law! And she has her own toddler at home and been a good mom so far.
Moving on, Isaac took the first morning shift on Saturday. Mostly because Rocco woke with a dirty diaper and Zakki is afraid of dirty diapers.. Isaac's fear is to be enemies with Rocco and, awww! Just warms my heart!!
The computer broke sometime Friday night, so since our new papers need to be a bit conscious of their spending we invited over the only tinkerer we know. Enter Julie.
And a big shout-out to Julie as well. She's also a new mom and still spent Saturday helping fix the computer and checking on lil' Rocco so Isaac and Zakki could shower and eat. Rocco took a liking to her immediately!
Isaac and Zakki may not have asked for a baby, they may be a Fortune and Pop sim, but they have just taken right to being new parents. They are so darn cute I almost can't stand it.
Ugh, and they sure do grow up quick. I'll have to remember when I load up their next week that Rocco's birthday is on Monday.
Little Rocco got lots of attention Sunday when the whole family came by. Hardly anybody even ate dinner! But when they finally let Rocco sleep, they had a great time playing the guitar, dancing, and I think Laken is thinking having a heir and a spare might be a grand idea!
Zakki snuck in to get some baby cuddles before their week was over. She couldn't let Isaac be the only one best friends with their baby!
And see, I did put paint up on the walls of their bedroom! Haha
I can't wait to see this little family grow up! But winter has arrived, so it's time to let them rest. Sleep when the baby sleeps is always solid advice!
Thanks for reading!
Carissa
