Welcome back to the home of Yamaris and Fletcher Lind!  Their son Vincent has graduated from college and he's moving back in this week.  They have three adorable little dogs (schnoodles of course!).  And we're excited to introduce you to several new additions this week!  Let's begin with our current residents.

So our first new addition to Legacy Cove showed up right on time at 10am Monday morning!  Since Tyson has left housekeeping to pursue his career in the entertainment business, our new maid is Gretchen Bruenig.

She's quite a cutie!  She does excellent work also, the Linds will be referring her to all the other households in Legacy Cove.

Monday also brought on some redecorating.  I decided to let Vincent move out of his childhood room and into one of the bigger rooms upstairs.  Then we also needed a new bathroom since the original one upstairs was connected to his old bedroom.  There's plenty of room to work with though!

This was a lot going on for a Monday.  New housekeeper, renovations.  You'd think they'd take it easy on Tuesday.  But no.  The girls aren't getting any younger, and by girls I mean Princess Peach and Ying.  So Fenway and Princess Peach got us started on our next new arrivals.

It was kind of a now or never thing.  Spoiler alert;  I was hoping one of the puppies could father Ying's puppies next week but turns out Princess Peach and Ying are cousins so that's a no-go.  Ying was originally Vama's dog so I'm thinking of letting Vama have her when she graduates Uni later this week.  Then she can deal with having more puppies!  But this was the last week for Peach to have puppies because she can't get the Kibble of Life forever.  And Ying's got one week left after this... Hope these Sims have baby AND puppy fever!

Meanwhile... We've got some work to do with reminding Vincent that he needs to settle down and think about that baby fever!  Ceera already had a locked wedding want, and Vincent is a sweetheart.  He gave me no trouble at all!  He's very quickly becoming my favorite guy in Legacy Cove!

While I'm off planning a wedding, these two had other ideas.  The car was too close, they couldn't resist...

("So... I'm all grown up now")

("And I plan to marry you, I swear")

We should look away now.  It's about to get steamy up in there.

But Vincent made good on his swearing.  Wednesday rolled around and he told Ceera he'd make an honest woman out of her!

Congratulations, Vincent and Ceera!  Vincent was so pumped up that after Ceera went home he took a night time jog.  He came home sunburnt and overheated.  Go figure.

Luckily they've acquired lemons from someone, so (after he passed out on the front walkway for an hour or so) he made some lemonade and got himself fixed right up.

So Thursday dawns and I pause the game before Fletcher's carpool arrives.  Should they have the wedding on Thursday or Friday?  Friday would be more logical.  But this is the Sims!  It's a small neighborhood, of course the family can all get off work to go to a Thursday wedding!  And then Vincent and Ceera can come home to consummate the wedding, maybe get the baby thing started, and we could have a baby by Sunday before their week is over!  I've talked myself into it.  No one is going to work today Fletcher, go feed the dogs and get dressed up!

We've got a wedding to do!

I decide their backyard needs too much work to host a wedding so we summon ALL the family to the house, get grouped up for a casual outing, for which Vama continually refuses to join (??????), load everyone into one vehicle like it's a clown car, and head to the chapel.

I'm sure you know there's a lot of pictures.

And of course, lots of pictures of the guests!  I should have ended the outing because all of those blue plumbobs are overwhelming!

Usually, weddings at the chapel are a lot of fun.  It's a nice set up for a party.  But no, this time everyone hung out in the chapel room.  A few had a plate of food.  Mostly they sat on the benches and tried to play kicky ball in the aisles then had fits about how there wasn't enough room for others to join or watch.

I even had to force the wedding couple to dance for that last picture.  Vincent's uncle Yardley tried to dance but quickly lost interest in solo dancing and went to sit on the benches instead.  Sheesh, guys.  What gives?  So, fine, I ended the outing, and took my Sims home.

Immediately upon loading the lot, our next arrivals came pouring out.

Yay, puppies!!  We have 2 girls and a boy.  Fleur, Flint, and Flopsy!  They are so cute!  And the wrecked my plans!  Hold that thought, let me introduce you to these lil' scamps!

Princess Peach unfortunately gave birth in an upstairs bedroom.  I had to get these puppies out, and fast!  We only wee-wee OUTSIDE, lil dudes!  I had sent Vincent and Ceera on to the bedroom to, ya know... whoohoo... and to try for a baby.... but chaos.  Everything became cute little chaos.

They could NOT try for a baby because now we have 4 sims and 6 dogs on the lot and we're full up.  No room for a baby.  Are you kidding me?  I foiled my own attempts here!  I guess thank goodness they got married before Princess Peach had the chance to have FOUR puppies because then there would be no room for Ceera.  Meanwhile, these puppies are just running around everywhere and I'm trying to click on them to have Fletcher and Yamaris pick them up and carry them outside.

At the start of all this, Ceera's carpool showed up before the household car got in the driveway and so it got stuck waiting for the carpool to leave (how did this even happen since Ceera didn't join the damn household until the wedding?)... sheeeeesh, so when they were finally all out of the car and trying to catch puppies, Yamaris's carpool showed up AND SHE GOT IN THE CAR WITH A PUPPY.

I HAD TO WAIT UNTIL 11PM FOR HER TO RETURN HOME.  AND SHE'S HOLDING FLINT LIKE THIS:

He's starving!  I'm starting to REALLY freak out, as if I wasn't freaking out bad enough before she got back home from work.  We're going to loose all our dogs to the animal control because Yamaris had to take a puppy to work.  She's a criminal mastermind, who the heck is she showing this puppy off to?  Her underlings or fellow criminals?  That's just not safe!  UGH.

So I turned on move_objects and tried to put him next to the food dish but now little Flint is stuck upside down.  He can't move!  HE'S STARVING!!!!!!!!  I pray to Wright.  Then I use move_objects to delete the little guy, save and exit, then reload.

WHOOOOOOOOOOOO-boy.  It worked.  He's alive.  He's reset.  He's moving on his own.  My little miracle puppy.

It's time for bed, Sims.  Everyone just go lay down.  I need to breathe.

The next day was much more calm.  Yeva is over for the day, and she really likes the new patio.  She blends in a bit too much with the patio furniture but hey, this is nice.

Later, I had Yamaris to influence Yeva to help clean.  The influence was strong with this one.  Yeva was here late, late into the night, in the rain raking leaves.  Dang.

Saturday arrived to a sleepy household...

We had to make some tough decisions this morning though.

With that handshake, the girl pups Fleur and Flopsy were sent to the adoption pool.  They are gonna make some other families very happy, I'm sure.  But I'm still heartbroken at giving them away.  Why am I like this, it's not like they aren't going to be adopted before we play this household again and there's not a Sim in Legacy Cove that would treat them badly.

It's probably Flint's little face looking around wondering where his playmates went.

Aww, stop it Flint!  You still have your momma, daddy, and Ying here to play with and nonstop attention from all the Sims living here or visiting.

In other news, Ceera had joined the family with a job as a celebrity chef.  Ahem, we already HAVE two celebrity chefs in the neighborhood.  Xander and Cassie.  So I had her look for jobs until we found one that suited her.  Ceera's a sports fan, so a job as a Miner Leaguer sounded good.  She's doing great, and got a promotion the first day!

She did great on Sunday and brought home another promotion!  Two days in a row!  Someone's got some sports skill!

And of course the family was gathered for their Sunday dinner.  The girls dominated the poker table.

Vama had arrived early and sat down to a chess game with Fletcher, who was still in his PJ's.  Fletcher had a want to beat Vama at a game and it took him most of the day but he succeeded!

Unfortunately, when he finally got to take a shower and get dressed, that's when Gilbert showed up.  These wolves are out of control in this neighborhood.

Luckily, Yvonne escaped unharmed.  But she threw up in their bathroom.  It was also at this moment that the stupid bot Ytterbium ran out of energy and shut down in the living room.  Sims, man.  Never dull!

I guess all that means it's time to send everyone home and let fall change over to winter.

Thanks for reading!  See you next at Xavier and Lindsay's house!
